"The atmosphere, food, and company was wonderful, but the whole experience was tarnished by our server. After I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, the server brought wine that tasted more like Chardonnay. When I asked, she replied that it was Sauv Blanc. Another person delivered our appetizers, and when I asked if he could ID it, he said it smelled like a Chardonnay and brought me what I ordered. When that delicious glass was empty, the original server asked if I'd like another glass. I said, "Yes, but a glass of what I ordered: Sauvignon Blanc." To this, she replied, "Okay, so I lied about your first glass!" Really?! The rest of our meal was delivered with a side of attitude, which is an extra bonus to Honey Salt's otherwise tasty fare."

"Great local, enjoyed the energetic atmosphere. waitstaff was off their game never came back to ask how my entree was. Ask for med rare and got rare. Not a huge deal for me, but my.companions did not care for it. Will definitely go back."

"In Silicon Valley there are many restaurants like this, but here in Vegas, they are fairly unique. I describe the menu to friends as "California cuisine". They do a very nice job of it (both in food and service) and we've been here several times. This won't be the last.
Only complaint ... I'd appreciate a larger choice of wines-by-the-glass. That's one area they differ significantly from their counterparts in California."

"This was our second time at the restaurant and it was just as good as it was the first time. I am big on consistency. We were celebrating my husband's birthday so had a group of five people this time. The food was delicious, the service was fabulous and they brought us out mini molten lava cakes for my husband's birthday. Two people had the scallops which were delicious. I had the halibut special in a dashi sauce and it was so flaky it really soaked up the broth. The other two people had the free range chicken and both raved about it. In addition to the mini lava cakes, we shared a bread pudding and their mini apple pie. All in all a wonderful birthday for my husband."

"This was the best experience I have had at Honey Salt, Anthony our server was a big part of that. The food was spot on and everyone in my party completely enjoyed the meal."

"While we enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and service, the restaurant was very loud during lunch. I would strongly suggest turning the music eithe down or off during crowded times. There was a constant bass baying like a drum that was very annoying"

"Honey Salt was recommended by a few people we met. We decided to try it. We usually are into a restaurant with a bit more sophistication so when we arrived it was a possibility we would not stay. Well...they had cloth napkins - a good sign. The server was personable and knowledgable in wines. The food proved to be Magnificent. When in Vegas we will visit Honey Salt again."

"I had brunch on Easter Sunday and the food was scrumptious! I am not a french toast eater normally but it sounded so good (Bananas Foster French Toast) that I ordered it and I was very glad I did. Unlike most french toast dishes, which are heavy and dense, this was light and airy with a hint of orange, vanilla and cinnamon. I then had the brown bag apple pie which had the most tender crust of any pie I have ever had. It was extremely nice to find a restaurant where the dessert menu is as important and tasty and the main dish menu. The desserts sounded so good, I took home a piece of the triple chocolate cake and later that night I was very glad I did!"

"My daughter and I had lunch; over the top on price for what we were served! I will try dinner inside if I go again. Patio seating was too crowded! Great ideas for ambiance and menu."

"The experience was purely enjoyable - the food was very good and presentation spot on. The restaurant gets busy very quickly - and stays that way. We were very impressed with the kitchen area - it didn't seem like they were stressed and have a compact area to work in. We noticed several tables had children in attendance - the dessert looked very good they will let you try a single scoop of their icecreams which was a treat after the meal - We will try the Apple Pie next time."

"beautiful restaurant but based on previous reviews from other diners we opted to eat elsewhere for dinner and do dessert at honey salt. big disappointment when they were out of their signature caramel ice cream. and yes, like others, we had to wait fifteen minutes for our table even with a reservation. but we ended up eating outside which was lovely. the apple pie was fabulous and it was a great ending. but if planning dinner there I suggest reserving for an hour before you'd like to actually eat! if wed kept an 8 reservation for dinner we wouldn't have been actually eating until nine."

"Great spot! But very very loud and terrible acoustics. Not great for people hard of hearing or for intimate, romantic conversation. But definitely a gem and worth going!"

"Nice restaurant. We drove all the way across town on a recommendation. There were 4 of us and you could barely hear the person across from you because it was so loud in the restaurant (people, poor acustics, and music). The food was good but a little high on prices for local las vegas meal. Our server was good but was almost cheeleaderesque. a bit over the top for me and they wanted to remove our plates 2-3 times before we were even done. We had a 3 layer choc cake that was fantastic. My friend had the buffalo mozzarella tomato chocolate salad which was a great combination of flavors. Definitely worth a try and I will go back at some point. our bill was $122 without tip. with no alcoholic beverages for a party of 4."

"The ambiance at Honey Salt was chic and modern. I felt like I was in a New York City or San Francisco restaurant. It was very open with high ceilings. The food was delicious and at a reasonable price. I highly recommend the mac and cheese!"

"Food was very good, everything has a twist on it. We really enjoyed it and I have recommended it to friends and family and look forward to visiting again! Service was slow in the beginning, although it did pick up. Waiter was very knowledgeable."

"The service was excellent, as was the food. I had to wait for my guest, but wait staff, Kevin kept checking on me for any needs, and when my guest arrives, he addressed her by name and brought her to my table...excellent service!"

"This was my 4th time here. HS is becoming a victim of its own success. It was a Saturday evening and very busy already at 6 p.m. The tables along the banquettes are too tightly pushed together which makes conversation difficult, much less ingress and egress. The server seemed more interested in rushing us and pushing his agenda, I explained that this was my 4th visit, but that did not stop him from being pushy with his recommendations. We chose to eat Tapas style, sharing appetizers and mains, All of the appetizers (4) were brought out together and filled the table so that one could not enjoy just one or two items at a time, as the hot items cooled. Thank goodness we chose to delay our main course orders!"

"I love Honey Salt, although the service wasn't what it normally is -- felt a little too "hovered over" like he was trying to turn the table. Food was good though."

"Wonderful, attentive service and a menu I really appreciated. As a non red meat eater I found the selection of choices to be excellant. The tiple layer cake was to die for, so glad we shared a piece. Dinner was filling and if not for sharing we might have missed this dessert. The noise level is not conducive to a romantic experience."
