H.O.M.E. House of Music & Entertainment
A premiere live jazz supper club, located in Beverly Hills, California. The sophisticated modern aesthetics, state-of-the-arts stage and events are designed to present cultivated jazz entertainment by legendary greats and emerging artists; while guest relish in delectable cuisine from Executive Chef Shawn Davis.
"I took my mom there for brunch on mother's day. The decor is beautiful & the wait staff is informative and attentive. There was a live jazz band that played throughout. Although the music was good, it was intrusively loud making it difficult to have a conversation. The brunch menu had a lot great choices. For my entrée, I opted for the grilled salmon with mashed potatoes. It was good, not great. I kept tasting pockets of salt throughout. When the bill arrived, I was taken aback to find that 20% gratuity was automatically added. I'm not sure why since we were just a party of 2. My overall dining experience was good but because of that exorbitant amount of gratuity that seems required, I won't be going back to H.O.M.E."

Review 5 for H.O.M.E. House of Music & Entertainment
"While the food was good, it was over priced i.e. not a great value. Wine selection by the glass could have greater. Tangent: Find someone who knows something about P.A. systems as the speakers in the wooden boxes in the ceiling are totally incorrect and spend some $$ on some decent speakers. They should be hanging from a truss and oriented correctly. I wish the restaurant luck. The band playing that night was phenomenal. I think they were called Nutty."

Review 7 for H.O.M.E. House of Music & Entertainment
"H.O.M.E. is a great edition to the dining jazz scene in LA. I went for brunch but will definitely return for dinner to check out the entertainment. Brunch prices were equal to what you pay at a four star hotel with less choices, but when you factor in the cost of live entertainment, it is very reasonably priced. The food was good. I had the beet and goat cheese salad and a grilled salmon entree. The food is equal to what you would get at a better restaurant, not over the top foodie, but certainly helped to make the experience even better."

Review 8 for H.O.M.E. House of Music & Entertainment
"The waitress made several recommendations on the food and wine and she did not steer us wrong. The food was excellent. The entree prices are not for those with a weak wallet but considering they do not have a cover charge and the venue offers great entertainment(2 shows nightly), the prices are justifiable. Did I mention how great the food was? I would definitely come back again. Good date night spot or a place to go with friends."

Review 9 for H.O.M.E. House of Music & Entertainment
"This is a new establishment that needs to work out its kinks with it's staff. Wait service didn't know some of the basics like they're own wine list, or food specials or what that in the dished on the menu. The venue itself is very nice and could become the superior alternative to Catalina Bar & Grill. At this point what will bring me back is the talent who is performing, rather than the service."

Review 10 for H.O.M.E. House of Music & Entertainment
"The jazz Sunday brunch was great. No prices on the menu (prix fix) but I was pleasantly surprised, given it was BH, that it was only $49. The staff kept refilling the mimosas without asking, which is a nice 4 star touch (mimosas seemed to be on the weak side). Excellent jazz. Lots of specialness, like people celebrating birthdays."

"The food and music were AMAZING! Service, not so much. It started out great, when it was only a few tables occupied. But when it got busy, it became a little more difficult to get service.
Would I go again? YES!"

Review 17 for H.O.M.E. House of Music & Entertainment
"Felt like an awkward dinner on a cruise ship. Food was good, though. This place is trying so hard but it doesn't know what to be... A cafeteria? A romantic dining spot? A dinner theatre with bad sound? The food was good, the singing was good, but the show was waaaay too long, and filled with unnecessary dialogue. We felt so bad for the owners who purchased a Huge prime space in Beverly Hills and have absolutely no idea what to do with it. Will be closed within a month if they don't figure something out. My recommendation is that they ditch the amateur dinner theatre and run old movie classics on a projector instead and decorate with an artsy vibe (their attempt at "fancy dining" just can't compete with the rest of Beverly Hills."

Review 19 for H.O.M.E. House of Music & Entertainment
"Great BH location for the music groups on nightly offer. Great to have a $5 car park next door. Room is actually too large for an intimate club experience so when filled, with hard walls, floors and low ceiling; the noise level of the guests rivals the sound from the stage...unless you are in the first two rows of tables. Staff is friendly but easily distracted by large groups. Food is good but astonishingly high priced for what it is. $28 for pasta, pesto & diced chicken breast. Few reasonably priced wine bottles. Why $5 "Entertainment Fee" if you are having dinner & wine? I'll come again when there's someone I'd like to hear but keep it to a cocktail."

"Went on a Saturday night with a girlfriend for girls night out - definitely an older couple's scene. The place was only half full; could be because it was still early. The music was good, so was the food but not worth price especially since the scene wasn't that exciting. The staff was great - very attentive.
I'm sure its a great place, just not for 30-somethings on a Saturday night."

"The hostess was very rude, and we waited an hour past our reservation time to sit down. The lighting is way too bright for a jazz venue and didn't feel warm or inviting. On a positive note The bartenders were very nice and offered us a free round of drinks for the reservation trouble. Our server was also very nice and helpful. Maybe it's just new and they haven't quite figured it out yet."

Review 28 for H.O.M.E. House of Music & Entertainment
"I tried taking my wife to dinner at this restaurant on Valentine's Day evening. As we were walking in, two couples were walking out with the manager following them trying to appease them. I should have known right there this was going to be bad. Upon enetering the restaurant we saw twenty couples or so waiting for tables. We had 8PM reservation but were told to wait along with these people as the kitchen was backed up. We waited for an hour and twenty before leaving. Needless to say, the night was ruined."

"It was my turn to cook breakfast and didn't feel like it. I found this place and it didn't disappoint. It was our first experience at the restaurant for brunch; the service was great, food was tasty and the music spectacular. We liked it so much we will return 3/3 for the jazz murder myster dinner for my fiancee's birthday which is the same date. Can't wait."

Review 32 for H.O.M.E. House of Music & Entertainment
"ABSOLUTE WORST experience at a restaurant EVER! Arrived for our 8:30pm reservation on Valentine's day and were told they were running 20 minutes behind. My husband and I along with a ton of others tried to patiently wait at the bar, which was hard since there were at LEAST 20 empty tables fully set and waiting for patrons to sit at them! Of the people who were already sitting which was quite a few, NO ONE and I mean no one had more than bread on their table! Long story short...when we LEFT at 9:15, there was still no sign that we'd be enjoying dinner anytime soon. Even if we had stayed, we likely would not have actually eaten dinner probably for another hour or so! Found a great restaurant down the street South Beverly Grill!"

"Horrible. Will never go back. Food took forever and I wasn't going to tip ANYTHING and they added on 20%!!!!! For two people, they added 20% and gave me no option. Crooks. Waitstaff is nowhere to be seen. Food is just okay. They put a plate of food in front of me (fruit salad) that wasn't mine. I ate some of it and asked to have it boxed up, they took it to box it up, and came back and said, oh, that wasn't yours. I said, but I ate some of it, what did you do with it? They said they threw it out. Good luck!"

"I had great expectations for this restaurant, especially since it has been getting good reviews. However, my experience was not so stellar. I went with my husband and another couple, and we all agreed the food was just OK. I had a pasta dish that was way overcooked - the noodles were gummy and the sauce was not flavorful at all. Very disappointed to say the least. The dessert - creme brulee trio was excellent, but it did not make up for the very mediocre entree."

"My wife and I recently heard about this great new venue from a friend, and what a surprise! Its right in the heart of Beverly Hills on Camden Dr. when we walked in we heard jazz music and come to find out they have a huge stage where a live jazz quartet was playing. What a refreshing night out! We ordered a couple of martinis from the bar and nice to see that they actually fresh squeezed there juices at the bar for the drinks. Our server was great, she really took good care of us, and knew a lot about the food and our martinis, Great Suggestions thanks!! We shared the lobster salad, and my wife had the seabass and I had the down home special which is a prime filet and lobster tail. The food was excellent!! we will definitely be back!"

"My husband and I went for a date night. The restaurant was beautiful, food amazing, great vibe and fabulous band. The only issue we had was the service was slow in terms of our waitress checking in on us. It seemed as if they were short staff once the restaurant got busy. All in all we would go back for the food and band."

"It took a while for someone to greet us when we entered. Seem to be a little confused as to whom should seat us then no one came to the table for a while. Had to ask for bread they give you tempenade which was great! Had the truffle Mac N cheese and crab cakes they were great! Ordered a bottle of wine which they did not have but upgraded us to a better bottle at the lessor price. Had the Pork chop with sweet potato marshmellow french fries...GENIUS!! Croissant bread pudding for dessert very good! Music very good! Couldn't find our waiter off and on all night!!?!?! Charge $5 a person for the band?!?! They don't tell you that....and its not on the website?!?!?"

"My guest and I had an amazing evening at H.O.M.E. Beverly HIlls. From the dinner prepared to perfection to the entertainment - which included some surprise vocalists (one of which was basically a legendary lead singer). If something could be done about the background noise (people chatting in the bar area), I think I would have enjoyed the music a bit more. We were all in agreement on that."
