"We dined at Loft 55 for Valentine's Day. We dined early (6:30 p.m.) so there were only a couple of other diners in the restaurant. Understanding that they had just been open a couple of months and this was their first Valentine's Day special, we cut them some slack on service and timing of food delivery. Our salads came out separately. I ordered my filet mignon well done, with no pink but it came out medium well. They offered to take it back, but since my wife already had her meal, I didn't want to make her wait. I asked for a steak sauce and it took quite some time to get it. They don't have steak sauce and the chef had to make one. That was suprising but admirable."

"I happened to stumble across Loft 55 after visiting a friend at the apartment building next door, and I must say, I am SO GLAD I did! I was taken care of immediately upon arriving. The hostess was very sweet, and extremely helpful. We got drinks at the bar first, and the bartender was hilarious - ask for Kasey! The table service was excellent and very quick, and the food was delicious. I was with a few friends and although we each ordered an entree, we ended up just sharing everything which was a lot of fun. We sat on the terrace and it was absolutely lovely. I will definitely be back and cannot wait to host my best friend's birthday party there next month!!"

"If you smoke, this is the place for you. If you don't, stay away. We went there for dinner prior to a concert at the Amway Center. The music in the restaurant was so loud, we requested the outdoor seating. The problem was, it is basically the smoking section. The smell of cigarettes and cigars was so awful it killed the possibility for a good meal. If you smoke and want to hang out for drinks, you will probably like it, otherwise, I would skip it."
