"Restaurant was empty where as other restaurants in Mercato were busy. The margaritas were very good but a bit overpriced for how much you got. The food was good but again over priced for the amount received. Tacos had only meat and a tiny bit cheese. Guacomole was good but a tiny portion. Other Mexican restaurants in area that are better and more reasonably priced. I was also annoyed that I received an email from open table stating masa cancelled my reservation. We were there and on time. When I called masa to fix they stated would but never did. I had to contact open table to fix and they did without hesitation."

"We were first tempted to visit Masa after seeing the creative, dynamic and engaging outside patio (gorgeous plantation fan chairs with contemporary heaters, beautiful oversized planter pots, and patio nooks) - felt like you were in a rich, contemporary garden. Inside creative touches like shadow boxes, wall of plants and painted murals completed the great decor. With hundreds of tequilas, the first margarita was great! Homemade guacamole was outstanding! Our group had fish tacos, pork tacos and beef tacos - all three were great. And the pork shoulder was fantastic - but too much for one person. We skipped dessert - we were simply too full! We will be back for happy hour with drinks and to sample several of the cold and hot plates."

"Unfortunately, our first visit to Masa was disappointing. The location at Mercato is great! But, the décor was trendy and somewhat cold for an “authentic” Mexican restaurant. The service levels were okay, but certainly not warm and friendly. And, the pork and black beans were average at best."

"The restaurant décor is lovely but when busy the high noise level and the (unnecessary) music make it impossible to have a conversation or hear the waiter. Outside dining is very pleasant.
I chose the Pollito Yucatan which was described on the menu as a grilled half chicken marinated in achiote, garlic and guajillo chiles. However, I was served a dry, overcooked, inedible chicken breast which our very helpful waiter Ron did remove from the bill.
All the other dishes were good and the churros excellent."

"We asked our waitress 3X for salt (they do not keep Salt & Pepper shakers on the table) , our drink took FOREVER to come out.
Menu was not very good.

Amiance: it was very loud ...the acuistics made everyone yell when they spoke. They sat us , a party of 5 at a table for 4 with a 5th chair sticking out the end in the asle where servers were walking."

"The food was excelent but pricey, although I would not mind paying high prices for excelent food as opposed to paying a high price for bad food. Our only complaint was the wine pour which was skimpy."

The hostess was awful- we had a reservation at 6 (early in Naples) and while the dining room was nearly emplty,she attempted to seat us at 2 tables in the back,next to a large group (about 20 people) having a stand-up" reception- so people moving around and noisy. We insisted again and got a normal, decent table. The waitress was pleasant but overcharged. us for the drinks.

In spite of this we enjoyed our meal. In the end, we received a notice from open table that the restaurant listed as a no-show! Pain-in the neck, maybe, but we were definitely there! Open Table resolved this with the restaurant. So go to have fun and enjoy the food."

"Came with 3 other people. We all ordered different dishes and everyone was extremely pleased. One member in our party inquired about which items on the menu were gluten free and our waitress knew right away. We ordered the hanger steak, snapper, pork and the mahi mahi special along with the guacamole appetizer. Every dish had a wonderful blend of spices. Would definitely go back!"

"Masa was loud and bright for a Saturday night dinner. The food was not good. We ordered the queso and it was a hard block of cold cheese. Not edible. When I told the waiter he shrugged and said that's the way it is. There was nothing special. The margaritas were tiny and in stemless wine glasses. When I asked for patron instead of the house tequila I was told he would have to see if they had it and I'm glad I did. My husband had the house tequila in his and it was not good. With all the good restaurants in Naples I would not return to Masa."

"We came in early for dinner, and waited at the bar. The bartender was very friendly, and their service outstanding. The margararitas are exoctic and very tastey. We ordered a shrimp quesadilla, and after tasting, we decided not to stay for dinner. The shrimp seemed uncooked, and smelled very fishy. We may give the food one more shot in the future, but for now, it has a left an awful taste in our mouth."

"House ceviche was excellent, just enough spice. The octopus ceviche offered as a special was outstanding. Four diners with different entrees-- all great. Blood orange Marg. was the best.

"Our first visit and we were very disappointed with the service, the food and the ambience. The noise level is deafening! Our waiter seemed to be under-trained. He was vague re: the menu and pointed out that it was "new" menu and filled with "typos." (so correct them!) Service was a matter of grabbing him as he walked by the table and asking him to bring more drinks, water, etc.
Most disappointing was the presentation. The hanger steak was a big glob of meat on top of rice in rojo sauce. Side dish portions are tiny. The tacos entree had 3 4" taco shells, a Tbs. of filling, rice & beans, no sauces,-- not one piece of garnish adorned any of our entree plates -- a shame as the flavors were good. Kitchen seems to lack attention to detail."

"wonderful sangria Blanca and impressive margarita menu. just had appetizers but all were delicious. they just reduced the size of their menu so a little difficult to order if you are a vegetarian or non- red meat eater. "First visit was Easter weekend and food and service -very good. Next time-lunch was seated in the back of restaurant,service was slow even though we were almost in there by ourselves. This last time we invited our friends (new to the restaurant), and regrettably the service was horrible.We sat in the back, When we were seated we were only one table of three occupied. It took 3 requests and 20 minutes to get water. The table next to us was seated, and had water before us!. It took almost 2 hours to have an appetizer and entree. "While the décor was lovely, there were several things that will have me not going back except for drinks & appetizers. The noise level was to the point that it was difficult to have a conversation at our table of 4. The food, which was overpriced for what it was, was tasty, but the portion sizes were very small and one of the sides, which was black beans was a joke. Seriously, can you give more than a tablespoon? The service left a lot to be desired. I had to ask more than once for several things and we had asked in the beginning of the meal for separate checks, which wasn't done. they have been opened for awhile, so it wasn't "new restaurant" mishaps. I expected far better from them since they are with the same company as Campeillo's"

"We have had 2 good experiences at Masa. Friday night was not good. We waited in the bar for over 1/2 hour for our reservation. We were not on the waitresses radar. When she brought my Martini she said sorry they are out of lemon twists...for a $9 drink! She didn't bother to put down a cocktail napkin or coaster. When we were finally shown to our table it had not been cleared. Our waitress for dinner was attentive, food was good but meal was not well paced."
