"It was our first time visiting Fish Fish & the food & service was outstanding. There did seem to be an issue with the air conditioning the night we went, but it didn't affect our dining experience. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended."

"I have an office in North Miami. Suddenly confronted with taking 6 clients out for lunch my associate suggested Fish Fish from an ad she had seen. What a find! The wait staff was suburb, the decor is whimsically hodge -podge but yet somehow perfect. Great vibes all around. and the food...... OMG the food was obviously fresh and cooked, plated and presented to perfection. All of our order came out at the same time. Our 7-up table was ready for us on short notice and I will be back to shop in the fish market and try the bar. A Gem in the middle of North Miami Beach. Next time Iam going to the whole fish for 4! Go and be prepared for a surprisingly wonderful dining experience."

"Located in an obscure strip mall. Ambience is nauticle but not nauticle chic. Fish is good, but too pricey for the location. But, nice to have a good fish restaurant in the neighborhood. I would recommend it, but not as a fine dining experience, but more as a good neighborhood fresh fish restaurant."

"Heard about the restaurant from a friend - love to try new, good places - especially seafood - The snapper with rice and spinach was very good - the apple dessert was great! There are many other dishes that sound very good - will be back to sample some more! Server was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the menu - a very good experience."

"Love that you can see the seafood prior to the preparation. The food was excellent and it is obvious that the chef has great talent. The service lacked in order taking (couldn't remember, even though it was supposedly written) and the bread for the table didn't arrive until we were almost finished with dinner. The bar needs to learn how to make a dry martini..."

"A cold beer on draft and perfectly prepared yellow tail says it all. The sides and appetizers are weak but the fish is excellent. We,ve been several times and each time it is improved - I guess they read the early reviews and acted upon it."

"We have become repeat customers having discovered this newer spot in NMB several months ago. What keeps us coming back is the variety and quality of the service and food. The nautical theme is also attractive. We would prefer more variety in wines by the glass and we would recommend they include their exquisite banana bread in the basket brought to the table, rather than charging $4 extra. It would be such a 'bonus' treat for diners and make the experience all the more special and memorable. The CD music on rotation is a bit all over the place. Keeping with classic jazz would even it out and create a more sublime experience as it can get pretty noisy when crowded. Definitely one of our fav places in this part of town!"

"Gave them a few months to get settled before we tried Fish Fish - really enjoyed the selection and service. The food was well prepared and presented. The server was knowledgable and attentive but not over bearing. We liked it a lot and plan to return soon."

"Everything we ordered was wonderful. We ordered the decontructed grilled caesar salad & the traditional caesar and both were good. The dressing was wonderful. We ordered 2 entrees: the whole grilled fish served with rice & sauteed spinach and scallops served on risotto. Also, both were very good. Our 2 desserts, key lime pie and apple tartin were excellent. I especially likes the flaky pastry used for the tartin. I would have preferred vanilla ice cream rather than whipped cream accompanying the tartin. The quality and service was outstanding. Full bar and pleasant atmosphere with nice music (not techno)."

"I have dined here twice and both times came away quite satisfied. Initially I was skeptical because of the location in a strip mall. But the service was quite good. The seafood was among the freshest. I would say the oysters (Blue Point) I had were probably in the Top 5 that I've ever had. The selection was notable. The food was very good. Would like some more healthy choices as the chef does a lot of sauces and the like that aren't healthy but definitely tasty. I'll no doubt go back again and recommend Fish Fish to my friends."

"What a gem in this otherwise uninteresting food corridor along NMB. We have dined and brought friends on five different occasions. The high-ceiling dining room has a modern nautical theme--comfortable and attractive. The music soundtrack offers a good mix of classic jazz. Our server presented us with a warm basket of the Chef's homemade 'wow!' banana nut bread while we studied the menu and heard about the evening's blackboard specials. Naturally, fish seems the way to go with many options and a vast price point differential between choices. Everything we have tried has delighted our table, including sides. Because some of the fish items can be pricey, we hope this refined spot will continue to attract the crowds. We are hooked!"

"This is a restaurant that is quite expensive so as a customer you expect great food, good service, nice ambience. The service was decent. The restaurant over a is well decorated and as you walk in Had a good feeling.
We ordered as an appetizer peel and eat shrimp. They were served already peeled. They were decent. My husband ordered Fish and Chips. The fish fell apart as you cut into it. We have had much better fish and chips in other restaurants that aren't as expensive. I ordered a steamed crab similar to a Dungeness crab. It was so over steamed that I could not Pull the meat out of the claws. It would have take me two days to try and eat it. I sent it back a d the whole process was handled unprofessionally. NOT GOOD!"

"Fish Fish was recommended to me by a friend. I decided to give it a try and I was very happy with my dining experience. The entire staff was as friendly and nice as they could be. Lisa, who served us, was delightful and provided us with excellent service throughout the meal. The entrees were delicious but the sides were equally as good. The decor was very interesting. It looked like someone with a high skill level designed the interior. My friends and I had a grand time and I will absolutely go back again."

"A friend found this gem when she stopped in to buy some fish. What she discovered was a well-appointed restaurant and bar which serves the fish they sell in the market. Most of the party each ordered a whole hog fish while I had the scallops. Everything was outstanding and cooked to perfection, and the decomposed Caesar salad was fantastic. The only down side was that the server did not let the table know that the fish was big enough to share nor did he share the price of the fish."

"First visit to new Fish Fish. Lovely room -- fresh fish attractively displayed. Nice bar. Large menu, but the food was disappointing and overpriced. I ordered the striped bass special ($32) it was served over truffle risotto with roasted asparagus. The risotto was creamy and delicious, but the bass was bland and tasteless and the asparagus were undercooked. My husband did not enjoy his snapper. Our friend enjoyed her grilled swordfish but the presentation was blah. We ordered a smoked salmon spread with black olives as an appetizer for the table ($12) which was tasty, but tasted more like smoked whitefish. The olives were served separately and were not pitted. Overpriced; underwhelming. Not in a hurry to return."

"My husband and I discovered this charming restaurant quite by accident, and so happy that we did. There are so few places where you can get truly fresh fish. We liked it so much we returned a few days later. Along with the delicious food, we were pleased with the attentive service. You can also purchase fish from their market area; and also their banana bread!"

"If you're craving fresh fish, seafood, et. this is the place for you! When you first walk in, there's a beautiful "fish bar" with all the day's fresh catches laid out on ice. The chef asked us to choose our fish and he said he could prepare it any way we wanted - LOVE that! (You can also choose one of serveral set preparations they have on the menu). They also had a raw bar fresh clams, shrimp, whole Hog Snapper (very rare!) and huge lobsters.
We ate fairly early, and the service was really attentive"

"This place has great potential because its ambience is welcome addition to the North Miami dining scene. Miami, a city of water, has so few good seafood restaurants. Fish Fish could change all that, but they need to improve before the paint dries on their reputation . I have been here twice now,for lunch on a Friday and once for dinner. What this beautiful place is missing is great energy. The wait staff lack energy found in better restaurants. Our waiter, Bo was excellent! But I just was not impressed with the overall professionalism of the staff. I even saw a young boy, about 12, coming out of the kitchen with a plate of food! Very low brow. The prices are high. The fish, fried hog snapper, was excellent. The sides were mediocre."
