"Service was outstanding and our glasses were never empty. The noise level was terrible. We had difficulty carrying on a conversation. The food was very and the brunch menu was varied with something for everyone."

"I can't believe they got rid of South City Grill for this place! South City was a neighborhood favorite with a great menu and ambience. This place is like a TGI Fridays with higher prices. Won't be going back."

"What a great restaurant. Too bad the day we were there for lunch, we had our whole section to ourselves. What a shame because our menu orders were each fabulous. Every burger was cooked to perfection, and the portions were generous. We will definitely be back, but wish other folks remember this place as well for their luch time meal."

"plenty of food options. food was hot and tasty. waiting staff were very accomodating. resturant is small but everyone was seated comfortably.although the price for brunch was reasonable i really think pricing for children should have been less. my family and were happy with chosing bistro 55 and would most probably dine there again."

"This was my first time at Bistro 55 and I thought it was very good - everything I tried was fresh and tasty. The waffles were my favorite. The wait staff was on target and very attentive. I would recommend this place to a friend."

"I have always love going on a Thursday night for lady's night but last week was the last time I will be attending. You get a "goodie bag" never got one, some apps are half price love that but apparently that night they felt like charging me full price (changed it because I caught it) the waitress spilled a drink on my chips for the spin dip instead of getting me a new order she took the plate of chips to get more, I'm still waiting for them. A manager never came to the table (little odd) Not really sure what happened to this place but Im sorry to say I now have a new place for lady's night."

"We were late for brunch so we had to have an early dinner. I had the pot roast special and my date had the crab cake. Both were less than impressive; the food was bland.
Michelle, our server, was friendly and attentive. Maybe the brunch is the big draw? Would not recommend it."

"Food was great...Service awful. We have been multiple times now. This was the worst. We ordered mimosas with brunch and seriously took about 30 minutes to receive after having to flag our server down twice. Also, had to look for her to get our bill. She was helping the table directly across from us and refused to even glance at our table. Also, I booked my reservation through open table. If the restaurant wants to call to confirm no problem, most do this the day before. Not at 9am on a Sunday to make sure we were coming in 2 hours. I thought they might be really busy and just trying to make sure their reservations were coming...When we pulled up at 11 there was only one other car in the parking lot. Thanks for waking my husband and I up!"

"While the brunch was very nice, the omelet station closed at 2, and had I known that I would have reserved earlier. Also there weren't many meat choices and suprisingly only one fish dish. I expected more of a selection, however, the unlimited mimosas, bellinis and champagne were a nice addition."

"They told us to be on time and then we had to wait in the very small vestibule for a period of itime until table was ready. Service was not that great. We had to wait and keep looking for waitress to get refills on drinks. Food was minimal. Not a brunch since there were no breakfast items which they did nit tell us when I made the reservation. You had to be ther before 2 in order to get any. There wasn't anything special about the food. Just usual pasta, vegetables, etc. The only thing great was the spareribs that were so good they fell off the bone. My grandsons were toddlers and certainly did not eat 18.75 worth of food. All they could eat was ziti. Nothing else for kids. All in all it was ok, but not great for a holiday meal."

"Stumbled upon this little gem and was pleasantly surprised!
I was finding a quick brunch place on line for my friends & I,
and was nervous having never been. It is in an awkward place on Rte 17S
but after finding it, ang getting over the fact no one was there when we first arrived-- it quickly
filled up and was bustling busy!
The food was very good, better than I expected , another pleasant surprise!
There was great variety and fancy dishes you would expect in a NYC restaurant.
And you can't beat the unlimited mimosas/bellinis!
Overall a lovely experience! My friends & I stayed 3 hours.
We will def be back & recommend others to go :)"

"While the food itself was not "gourmet" quality, it was plentiful and very good. The unlimited champagne, mimosa and bellini drinks included in the $28 brunch were truly unlimited -- no champagne glass was ever less than full since the wait service was extraordinary. The brunch buffet was varied and had something for everyone in our party -- we were so full that no one ate again for the rest of the day. A good time was had by all!"

"We have not been here since it became Bistro 55, but I think that we will make it a point to frequent this establishment more often. It may be only for special occasions for us because we have a 9 year old daughter and this really isn't a great place for kids, but they do have a kids menu as well as a full adult menu. Service was excellent and the food was awesome! This was a great place and definitely worth visiting again!"

"My fiance and I went for Valentines Day and the Ambiance was perfect. There were balloons everywhere and everything was red and white. They did a great job of making this meal stand out as an occasion meal with comlimentary champagne and ample time to spend with your date. We didnt feel like we were rushed at all in order to free up our table. Valentines Day is tough at resturants but Bistro 55 didn't disappoint."
