"I was with 4 other people and everyone loved their food, except for me. I had the veal parm, which you would think is a fairly common and standard dish for an Italian restaurant, but it was terrible. I make it far better than this restaurant and I am no chef. I will say that the appetizers were excellent, which is why I gave it a good rating and not bad. If I did go back, I would stick to pasta and their red sauce."

"Food is consistently good, but service is spotty. We've been to this restaurant several times but this last time was the last straw. There's no excuse for being ignored by the waiter, and it has happened now on at least 2 separate occasions with 2 different waiters. Won't be going back."

"Soprano Cafe was recommended by the concierge at our hotel. It was easy to find and had complimentary valet parking. We had an early dinner with our older teenage kids at 6pm and there were only a handful of people in the restaurant. The service was exceptional and the food was fantastic! Our waitress was very attentive and the other staff were constantly coming by to check our water glasses, take away emply plates, etc. We saw someone we figured was the owner helping around the restaurant too. The view from the outdoor dining area was partially blocked by plants, trees, etc, but it felt very cozy. You could also walk down the dock to check out the boats. It's a little gem in North Miami Beach!"

"A wonderful place for outdoor dining. The parmesan fries are an outstanding appetizer for four or more. Unfortunately the service was below par on this particular visit. We waited an hour for our main courses. Perhaps the kitchen was understaffed on this Saturday night. Rocco, the owner was off that night and I am sure that made a difference since he always keeps things moving. This experience was unusual for this restaurant and. I will certainly go back."

"Show up on time for an 8:30 pm reservation. Told they were running behind and the wait was an hour?! No apology, no offer of a drink, no nothing. Just a shrug of the shoulders. Not recommended."

"We did not eat on the terrace as it was full but will ask for a table outside the next time we make a reservation at Soprano Cafe. We were greeted by management and our server was friendly but not experienced. The food was tasty and the atmosphere was inviting. We look forward to another experience dining on the patio overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway."
