Our restaurant is the culmination of a multi-year process by the students in HAdm:3350 Restaurant Management. This capstone course allows our upperclassmen to incorporate every aspect of their Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration curriculum to develop a restaurant concept and manage its execution. "Establishment is run by students at the Cornell Hotel School and is a welcome addition to the Ithaca dining scene. The nightly menu has a lot of variety and a lot of options for diners of all persuasions--from tofu lettuce wraps to steak frites. In addition, there are frequently special nightly menus, often themed, that allow for creativity from the kitchen. The quality of the food is consistently excellent. The service is good and attentive. It's the perfect place for a fancier meal if you are a member of the Corenll community or are up on campus for an event."

"We went there for a special night when hotel school students were presenting their work for a term project. We ordered from both the regular and the special menus. The items on the students' special menu were surprisingly impressive. They were very creative and tasty!! They are actually better than some of the dishes we tried on the regular menu."

"We were greeted with professionalism in a timely fashion upon entering the establishment. We were shown to a lovely table for two. We received water by a charming server. The prix fixed menu with wine was a fabulous choice. MMMMMMM to everything! Creativity abounds with precision in the preparation! Thanks to all."

"My boyfriend and I shared an appetizer off the regular menu, I believe it was prosciutto dumplings, which were interesting tasting, but again, small.
I ordered off the Greek Night themed menu. The chicken souvlaki I ordered was very small sized, only two small skewers for a hefty entree price of $16.00. Besides the two very lonely small skewers of chicken, which by the way arrived cold, hard and dry, was a Greek style salad, which did have some feta cheese, but not sure if they used any Greek Olives in it or not. Certainly it didn't have any capers, which I thought usually come in a Greek salad.

"This student run restaurant on the Cornell campus has fantastic food and friendly service. We went to the hops inspired dinner and thoroughly enjoyed both the fish tacos and the beer-braised short ribs, along with the beer pairing chosen for each. We also ordered lettuce wraps from the regular menu. We had them with chicken (there was also a tofu option) and the fillings were perfectly seasoned. I can't wait to go back to establishment for a regular meal or one of the the other themed meals!"

"After discovering the hidden entrance of establishment, I was enthused to see many of my classmates and friends inside. I talked to several individuals about the best that establishment has to offer, and they always recommended the truffled fries. Even though it was an appetizer to share, I basically ate it by myself. The managers constantly visited our table, inquiring about our meal and recommending dishes to compliment our meal. The backwaiters, particularly Ashley, were quite attentive as they refilled my friend's glass four times, and each time was when the glass was half full.
I hope that Yohana recommends another day so that I may enjoy the excellent attention that the staff gives."

"My son and I attended the "American" cuisine night, Thursday, March 14th, and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The entire staff was welcoming, enthusiastic, always smiling, and genuinely cared about our comfort. It was the ideal menu for such a frigid night and each course was served at the right time, at the perfect temperature, and so very delicious. I loved that the Spinach/Artichoke dip with toasted pita chips was a single-serve appetizer - unique and just the right size! The Chicken Pot Pie was topped with an unbelievably light and flaky puff pastry that completed the dish beautifully. The Chocolate Bread Pudding was absolutely the best I have ever eaten and was so elegantly plated. JUST A GREAT MEAL!"

"Establishment is a student project with a different manager every night. So one cannot expect consistency. That said, these are students who are highly energetic, motivated, and accomplished in their areas. Yes, there have been a few flaws and I think the basic menu could use a tweak. But I would not hesitate to go there again - and again. The food is well-prepared and well-presented, some of it creative. The prices are reasonable, and the service is quite good."
