Bobby’s Deerfield is based loosely on our other location Café Lucci which we have developed over the last 17 years. Similar to Café Lucci, Bobby’s Deerfield will serve as a true neighborhood locale, marked by our signature personal service and unmatched friendly atmosphere. However, Bobby’s Deerfield will be a more casual eatery, completely accessible in every way. Reminiscent of the iconic, nostalgic neighborhood restaurant of yesteryear, Bobby’s Deerfield will bring graciousness back to dining out, in a simple way, by turning out the best product and best service.

"We have been to Bobby's multiple times but never for a "holiday." We went on Mother's Day. For the first time that I can recall, our reservation was not honored promptly-we had to wait about 20 after the time of our reservation to be seated. In addition, since it was Mother's Day, there were many large parties with multiple young children. Once we were seated, the service was exceptional- yes, even on a holiday- and the food was wonderful. The menu has something for everyone and at different price points. We will be going back again soon."

"Great food and excellent and attentive service but don't go if you're not hungry. Portions are big! Waitstaff was courteous and knowledgable. No sense that we were being rushed out the door toward the end of the meal --which is unusal nowadays for busy restaurants."

"Overall a great experience. Bright and airy space with a casual elegant feel. Mostly couples were dining but were some small groups. People with no reservations were seated at the bar high tops (Saturday evening). I didn't like the entree I ordered very much but would go again and try something different. Service was excellent and prices reasonable."

"We were here on a Saturday night...the restaurant was incredibly noisy, the 4 of us couldn't hear eachother across the table.
Our waiter was borderline rude and basically ignored us, rolled his eyes once.
Food was mediocre, at best.

"Glad to see that the wine list has improved since opening. Service was much better than the first time I was there. Still having a problem getting the calamari appetizer out hot but the flavor was great. The chocolate cake was bad. It was gritty, mushy and not very flavorful. However, the veal piccata was delicious and so was the tomato soup. Everyone enjoyed their entrees (chicken w/mushrooms and an arugula salad w/salmon)."

"Went with two other couples and we all loved this restaurant. The best meal I've had in the suburbs in quite some time. The waiter was tremendous help with recommendations. He encouraged us to try the pastrami salmon and the sweet and sour calamari appetizers and they were incredible. Each of us loved our entrees -- pasta, salmon, veal -- all cooked beautifully. For dessert, the cheesecake was outstanding. The chocolate cake, though, had something a bit lacking -- it was served icy cold and it made the cake a little dry. It was good, but did not taste as good as it looked. A minor glitch though in an outstanding meal. We all want to go back."

"I've dined at Bobby's on several occasions and am disappointed that the service has not improved. There were not many luncheon diners and yet it was hard to get service (i.e. refill ice tea, deliver the check). If this does not improve, there may be even fewer to serve.

"We have visited Bobby several times, and this trip ensures we will continue to dine there. The food, as is typical, was well prepared and tasty. We have never had a disappointing dish, and we were delighted with the Albanian bean soup, asparagus chicken and Bobbys shrimp.
But special kudos must be given to the service. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful (offering to bring a sample of the soup for us to try). He helped make our dining experience very enjoyable."

"There are lot's of great places to eat on the North Shore, Bobby's is a pleasant addition. The food is consistently great. The only weakness to greatness is mediocre deserts. The rest makes up enough to make multiple return visits.

"I would not return to Bobby's . Our party was initially placed in a table scrunched into a corner in a back room. When told that this was not acceptable we were moved, but we had to stand around and wait while they decided if they would move us. The attitude of the staff was not pleasant.
The food was just average yet pricey. We received a lot less than we paid for."

"Called to request a table at the bar and hostess was very friendly and helpful - same for when we got there. The food was good, the service was really good and the drinks were great. Cake we had for dessert was dry but good flavor. Some of menu items are overpriced for where you are. We will try it again but not overwhelming endorsement!"

"We saw a positive review so asked friends to join us. The service was good but the food was average.
Ordered the skirt steak al forno and rather than being simply EEVO , garlic with jalapeño (nice touch) it was a thick sauce as if flour had been added. Hamburger sounded like it would be great,a blend of short ribs and brisket, but was just OK.
Had hoped for better. maybe the kitchen is just finding it's way?"

"Food was tasty with plenty of interesting menu options, but the staff seemed disinterested in the customers, especially our waitress who paid us little heed except to take our orders. Answers to questions about the menu were terse and our water glasses sat dry for much of the meal even though the restaurant was far from busy with maybe half of the tables filled. I am unlikely to return."

"From the moment I walked I was greeted by well dressed host and hostess with great attitudes, there was a slight wait but me and my group didn't mind because we were able to have a drink at the bar and catch up, once we were seated our waiter was at the table within a min to get drink orders and go over the great selections of specials that are not on the menu... Everything from the food to the service made for a wonderful night!!!"
