"This was our first experience dining at Trattoria Divina, and it was exceptional. We sat in the wine room, were there was minimal noise (though it was on a Monday and probably not the busiest day). Everything was done well, the service was great, ambiance was fantastic, the prices were decent, and you couldn't ask for a better wine selection. The only complaint (which is not really a deal breaker) was the 12oz New York Strip had been under cooked, but only on one side, which seem odd. Other than that, Trattoria Divina is definitely on the list of places in Hilton Head to try again."

"I took my mother out for dinner on Mother's Day as she had never been there. My ravioli was superior on a prior visit so I was looking forward to dinner again. Mom's Osso Bucco was quite possibly the worst I have ever tasted. The meat was tough and served on a bed of overcooked linguini with a sauce that tasted like tomato paste. I had the lobster tail and shrimp which was good but not great. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Italialn cuisine. The service was very good and atmosphere very inviting. Next time, I may sit at the bar and enjoy wine and appetizers."

"Every bite of food lived up to the restaurant's name. It is truly one of the beat dining experiences I have had, and everyone in our party of eight echoed that sentiment. My lobster ravioli arrived with a cream-colored sauce on it and I winced, as rich dishes are not my thing, but that sauce was incredible--light and flavorful and made the dish. My Bibb lettuce salad with almonds was perfectly dressed and SO delicious. We were here for a milestone birthday celebration and the staff couldn't have been nicer and made the occasion so festive. Atmosphere is classy but friendly and you can actually carry on a conversation. Highly recommend and will return."

"My husband & I had 6:15 reservations and were the first to occupy the restaurant. Our server, Dominic, was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. We were greeted with complimentary prosecco, and also (before ordering) a sample of their bruschetta - very good. The warm bread was served w/a smooth hummus that tasted of olives - very good. We had the Calamari appetizer, so lightly breaded yet crisp, with a spicy aioli sauce - loved it. My entree was the Sea Bass - large portion - and was excellent. My husband had the Lobster-stuffed Ravioli - also wonderful - loaded w/lobster and the sauce was great. Service was excellent. The tables were beginning to fill up as we were leaving. Would suggest reservations."

"Really enjoyed the excellent food and service at trattoria divination. My wife and I had the caprese salad, fried calamari, sea bass special and seafood pasta. Every dish was really good. Frankly the quality and imagination of the food left us pleasantly surprised. We will try to get back before we have to leave HH. We did not try the desserts because we were stuffed but they sounded great as well. Highly recommend."

"From start to finish this restaurant delivered. Our waitress, Paige, was exceptional. Helpful when asked. Never trying to sell anything- just giving good advice when asked. My seafood pasta was flavorful and generous. The flourless chocolate cake was one of the top two I have ever had- and I've had it everywhere. Rich, dark chocolate and creamy vanilla ice cream. AND the bread to start was crustly, rich, artisan bread- perfect for the sauces we had."

"Trattoria's service is always prompt and friendly.It's a place that makes you feel welcome. The menu is not extensive, which allows the chef to focus on preparing truly fine meals. There are several interesting appetizers and salads, and the staff will split the salad for you in advance of serving if you want to share. The chef's catch for this visit was sashimi grade tuna seared and served on a bed of grains and crisp vegetables. I had planned on having pasta, but was certainly glad I made this choice. The tiramisu is outstanding, as is the molten lava cake. Finally, the wine list may appear daunting, but the servers are knowledgeable and can help you in a selection."

"After dining at numerous wonderful restaurants on Hilton Head Island, this is our favorite! The service is prompt. The server was knowledgeable and attentative. The little touches such as the prosecco and chefs bite were nice. All four of us had an outstanding meal. We all enjoyed the fact that the restaurant was spacious so we were not seated right on top of the table next to us. We also appreciated that the noise level was low. We could actually enjoy our conversation. I would definitely suggest this as a must visit."

"I only wish we had dined there the very first night in Hilton Head then I would have had the opportunity to return again for what was one of the best meals I have ever had! This place was recommended by a friend weeks ago when he heard I was traveling to HH but I forgot all about it till he reminded me on our very last night in HH. Thanks so much for such an enjoyable dining experience. From the food to the waiter service and atmosphere, I can't say enough. For a Thursday night, I would have thought there would be a bigger crowd. I can only think that inasmuch as the interior of the restaurant was beautiful, they need to be located in a more visible/accessible area. It was also hard to find the restaurant tucked away in the corner."

"Our meal was delicious, service was attentive and friendly, and we now have a "regular" spot to visit when we vacation in Hilton Head. The black trufle pasta dish and Carbonara were prepared perfectly, and the tiramisu was the best I've ever had."

"We visited Trattoria Divina for the first time on Friday night and it was absolutely perfect. We enjoyed the Price Fixe menu and the selections were all amazing. We were treated as though we were special and felt it every moment of the night. The food was great and the wine list was excellent. All of our courses were wonderful and we look forward to going there again. Brandon treated us like royalty"

"We went during restaurant week. There was a great price fix 4 course menu. The selections. Food and portions were all excellent. There pasta is all home made! Try the tomato fettuccine with spicy lobster seafood sauce! Everything was excellent. Slight smell of cigar smoke seems to come thru the walls from the cigar bar next door? This Resturaunt is in the same center as Harris Teeter and the Movie Theater. Address made it a little hard to find when it was right there! We will definitely return."

"Looking for a quiet and romantic dinner for two and this place was recommended...it did not disappoint. A little hard to find tucked away in the plaza but well worth it. The service was superior with multiple wait staff taking care of their responsibilities and the head waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. He made an outstanding suggestion on the wine after we had a few questions. The oysters and mussels appetizers were great as were the entree's. We came in on the tail end of restaurant week and were still able to order off the Prix Fixe menu. The desserts were fairly standard compared with the rest of the meal but that doesn't change my overall opinion. Highly recommend and will be back next visit to Hilton Head."

"First trip to Trattoria Divina. The location was the old Brick Oven of many years in the Harris-Teater shopping center at Park Place. My wife sister and I were seated at a front window booth. Dining patrons were light which made it quieter and service attentive. There are vegetarian options as well as meat and seafood and traditional Italian. All food was delivered in a timely manner with a nice presentation. Apps, dinner, wine and desert came to about $50 per person which was reasonable."

"Our second trip to T.D. was almost as good as the one a year ago. This place has the components for a total experience. All of the wait staff is friendly and attentive and most important, not obsequious. Not one conversation interrupted by a waiter too busy to wait to inject themselves into our evening, hooray! As to the food, there sure aren't many "Italian" restaurants around where the pasta is not just a huge bowl of some kind of pasta smothered in a red sauce but this is one of them. They have reasonable portions, exquisitely made and very tasty. Only downside that evening was some cigar odor that is coming from the store adjacent to the restaurant. One can smell it when you first enter the restaurant but after awhile you forget it"

"We were delighted by the small surprises...the Prosecco and appetizer. Freshly baked bread served with outstanding hummus was one of our favorite parts of our meal, but everything was delicious. The 4 course Prix Fixe menu is a great opportunity to sample the quality and variety of the menu.
The hand painted ceilings and walls are delightful, and the sorbet/gelato served in a handmade ice bowl were intriguing!
