"We've been going here for awhile on Monday nights for their awesome wine special. Usually it is semi loud, the service is good and the food is nicely done. This trip started out with them losing my reservation for six. They were out of three of the beers we ordered. They ran out of egg pasta. My pasta was way overdone. I'm not sure what happened but combined with the super noisy atmosphere and our server, who was clearly in over her head, it wasn't our best trip. While I still recommend it for the wine special, I'm not as enthusiastic as I was."

"Ambiance: Indoors was quite loud, so we opted to dine outside, especially since it was such a beautiful day. However the dining patio is next to a busy thoroughfare of a mall parking lot. Harleys with loud pipes, a couple of muscle cars and large diesel trucks -- not to mention REALLY gusty winds made it a little less than desirable."

"Mirko has some of the best Italian food in the area. We love the fresh bread and dip brought out as you sit down. The Caprese salad is good; the mozzarella is fresh. If it had a little balsamic vinegar, it would be perfect. The parmesan chicken is fantastic. It comes with a little pasta that has a sauce with a little bite. The chicken is cooked perfectly and has generous amounts of cheese."

"I had the Chicken Parmesan lunch special. The sauce on the tagliatelle had quite a bite to it. The chicken itself was marvelous and I could eat it every day of the week. My wife enjoyed her ravioli. The pasta here has always been excellent.
Though far from crowded during our lunch visit, the servers seemed to be behind like I would expect if they were slammed. They were pleasant, but a little behind on drink refills and such."

"Risotto was undercooked for our taste. It was more crunchy than fluffy. Scallops were bay, instead of sea, but for the price... understandable. We were gratefully encouraged to change our entrees. I chose my regular, which is always perfect... squash ravioli with fungi sauce. Service was excellent as always. Tuscan stew & tilapia were great as always."

"We recommended Mirkos to our friends and went this past Sat night. My husband & I were at the Mirko's on Woodstock Rd (not realizing there was a Mirkos right near us at Merchant Walk). My husband especially enjoyed the gluten free pasta...not many restaurants offer GF pasta. Our friends really enjoyed their dinners, thought the food was very good. We all had a very good experience and look forward to going back."

"This is the first time we've dined at this restaurant and our family eats out for dinner 2-3x/week. We wanted to give it a try since we've never been to Mirko Pasta. We were excited to try it since the owner is from Athens. However, we had a bad experience & probably won't go back. To start, the hostess was rude, our waiter had to be flagged down anytime we needed anything, ordered salads then main entree, salad came out 20 min later then within a couple of minutes our entrees came out. Not to mention the kids meals came out before we got our salads. Food was just okay! We'll stick to other East Cobb Italian restaurants."

"This place never disappoints. We always have great service, exceptional food and fantastic customer service. We made a reservation for Valentine's day. The table we were waiting for was taking longer than expected so the manager provided us with complimentary champagne and juice for our daughter. They checked on us often to make sure we were okay and to keep us updated on our wait. When I receive customer service like that, I don't mind having to wait a little:) We will continue to be loyal customers!"

"We eat at Mirko's regularly. It's a favorite casual restaurant where the food is consistently good and the wait staff is friendly and efficient. We love being able to get exactly what we want at a reasonable price. I will say it can be very loud, especially on kids night. Looking forward to the warmer weather so we can sit outside! If you're a snob about Italian food, you may be more critical than I am, but I like simple, hot, fresh food that doesn't take all night to cook and can be customized to my specifications. A great family restaurant and I'm glad to have them in the neighborhood.

"Most of the items were very good. The calamari was cooked well and came with a small salad too. The pasta meals were al dente, though the crabmeat sauce was a little spicy for my wife's taste. I had the filetto special and the crust seemed burnt. I wasn't overly impressed with it. Overall, though, we like this place and the regualr menu items are all good."

"The food and portions were quite ample. The service, however, was not. Our wait person was not very attentive. The soup we had ordered was luke warm and we had to go looking for staff to have the situation taken care of. When the soup came back at the correct temperature, our main courses were also delivered. The hostess might benefit from some training... she is a little cold and i don't get the sense that she manages the room very well. Many people were put off by the wait for tables - which was actually quite a bit shorter than she told people."
