"Had my sister's birthday here. Everything was perfect. Fantastic service. Fantastic food. Open table mistakenly took my reservations as two instead of 12 and would not let me change it. I called restaurant and they did. Also called at 7am that Sat and they added two more!"

"The food is excellent. Truly innovative and beautifully presented. Pasta is homemade, and perfectly prepared. The “CALAMARI NEW STYLE” appetizer is probably the best calamari I've ever tasted. After you try J. Trani's, you'll most certainly put it on your list of favorite restaurants."

"I really enjoyed having lunch at J. Trani's. It was easy to get a reservation. Staff was friendly and the food was delicious. The steak was excellent but the vegetable portions were small. I literally got two tablespoons of mashed potatoes. Tasty and perfectly seasoned though. Would definitely visit again."

"Went for my Birthday. Had been there before but had not gone for a while. The food was better than ever and the presentation was excellent. We were in a position were we could see many dishes being served and they all looked great. The appetizer list was extensive and very good. All in all I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone."

"Was meeting a friend who was staying in Long Beach and wanted to get away from the chain restaurants near her hotel. This restaurant was a quick 15 min drive away, and well worth it. Service was prompt and very friendly, food was excellent. Plenty of free parking in the neighborhood. The menu and ambiance are very 'old-school' Italian but with a modern touch to the food and the service. Great place to to take a client, a date and your family when they are in town."

"This Restaurant seemed to have a rebirth. A great experince, the charcoal grilled octopus wonderful, a duck breast beautiful medium through out with great skin, a manager which paid great homage to a bottle of great wine, all in all wonderful."
