"Phoned to say we were running late and would be there at 8.45pm, they warned us they close the kitchen at 9pm.

We got there at 8.50pm according to both our phones and my watch. Mysteriously as we walked in the digital alarm clock that was casually placed infront of the kitchen flicked across from 8.59 to 9pm whilst we waited for a host.

The host then told us he had already closed the kitchen (clearly early by even their own fast clock).

Clearly it was a very quiet night, they didn't want to stay open just to honor the reservation they took for 2 people. They had my phone number if they could have been bothered to phone and either check my situation or let me know theirs. They could have saved me the trip.... Terrible terrible service."

"Repeatedly our favorite restaurant in the LA area....we visit several times each year from WA.My husband calls me a food snob,
Who loves a great view, often you have to sacrifice one for another, NOT at Sapori! Owner is very hands on, and supremely accommodating. Gorgeous view, fabulous food and wine....great service....a true gem! And- shockingly reasonable prices, and generous portions. Magnificent find."

"I've been here 3 times and have always enjoyed a delicious meal at this restaurant located on Fisherman's Pier in Marina del Rey. The food is always very well prepared and well served. The owner is usually on site and always gracious. This time I had the risotto zafferano with lobster - excellent."

"While this restaurant is located in the Fisherman's Village, an area that seems a bit run down, the food was good and the scenic view is wonderful. I arrived early because I am from out of the area. The service was attentive when they came to the table, but it was difficult to get their attention and I think they should have brought our drinks earlier."
