Bistro 412, located at 412 Main Street, offers a comfortable American Bistro setting with a French flair. The charming decor with French lace curtains, photos and intimate seating provides the feel of a French Bistro.

"Bistro 412 is a relatively small place with a nice atmosphere. I've ordered the Forest Mushroom Saute as an appetizer, French Onion Soup, and for entrée I've ordered Bourguignonne. They were all delicious; the only problem was that they were all served at the same time! The glass of wine I've ordered had a taste of a wine that was sitting in an open bottle for few days. The place is a bit pricey but I think everything in Park City is a bit pricey."

"This is a sweet little restaurant with poor service and lousy food. A side order of sauteed mushrooms arrived cold and slimy. I ordered steak frite and a little steak arrived alone on a plate. When I asked the waiter where the 'frite' was, he said the oil hadn't been hot enough. Sure enough an order of french fries arrived 15 minutes later. (The fries were pretty good - at least they could cook fries.)"

"I don't understand the favorable reviews of this restaurant. I ordered steak frites and onion soup. Figuring this was a French bistro those two servings should be nailed to perfection. The steak frites was solid not great. The onion soup was very commercial and ordinary. All four members of our dinner party felt this restaurant was very cute, good service but the food very ordinary. I would skip this spot on Main Steet and choose some of the other spectacular restaurants on the street. Wine list was also extremely limited. On the positive side one of the few restaurants on park city with a reasonably priced list."

"As a local I dine out often and vary my selections. Bistro 412 by far has the best original French Onion Soup and I could come back over and over just for this. The service is very good and the server knowlegeable of the food and wine on the menu. The ambiance is quaint and sitting by the windows offered a unique view of Main Street. "I wasn't impressed with the food or the ambiance of Bistro 412. Don't be fooled by the photos of the interior of the restaurant on the web site. I thought we would be dining in the main dining room which is what is pictured but instead we were put in a booth up stairs in a dive bar with awful loud music. Tacky Christmas lights crisscross the ceiling and grimy barn feeling all around. If the food was fantastic you might be able to look past the surroundings but the food was very average."

"The food was very good. However, the overall experience was disappointing. Despite having made reservations several weeks in advance, we were seated in the bar, which is much louder, more crowded and far less desirable than the downstairs (unless you are looking to be a little rowdy, which is fine, but not why we chose this restaurant). I was hosting and did not make a big deal of being moved to the bar as not to disrupt the evening. I would not have chosen to eat here had I known I would be in a noisy bar. Service was very spotty - meal was not delivered as ordered and had to be sent back. I would have expected more professional service for a restaurant of this caliber. All that said, the food was well prepared and good."

"We ordered several small plates to share between us (the lamb chops, macaroni and cheese, and quiche). All of the dishes were completely flavorless to the point that we were shocked that food could be so bland. The quiche and lamb chops were also lukewarm. The bottle of wine we ordered was acidic and not appetizing, too. For the most part, our server was friendly and helpful, until we stayed at our table to finish our bottle of wine after our check was paid and he asked if we would please leave because other diners were waiting. This was less than 2 hours from the time of our reservation and several nearby tables were available for other patrons."

"We had reservations during the first weekend of Sundance, a arrived 30 minutes late but were seated after 10 minute wait, very pleasant people. Being so late, the chef must have left because the food was just"phoned in", disappointing since 412 is one of my faves and I M a local."
