"Nice spot for creative food, as long as you sit in one of the window tables and are served by the charming bar ladies. Otherwise, the noise is deafening to my aged ears. I would call it "conversation impossible". The cause is probably the lovely tin ceiling. I think I'll go back in the summer when the outdoor ambience beckons and the only noise is the soft sounds of a nice neighborhoodl"

"This is the 6th time I've been to tarintinos (I was hoping my bad visit a few months prior was just unlucky so I gave it another shot). The same waitress served us - horrible, horrible service. Our water glasses were left empty and we were never once checked on once our food was served. Meaning the sauce for a $25 piece of meat never arrived and it was terrible. Along with a few other missing items I had to get up after 20 minutes and go ask for our waitress. The owner said the waitress "didn't know what she was talking about" as he simultaneously rolled his eyeballs then walked away. As we left the restaurant they seemingly hid from us - overall, worst $25 dollars ever spent along with the worst dining experience ever."

"Food was really nice, however, the first 3 trys of bottles from the wine list, they were out of. Could just be between seasons, but they should really take off wines they no longer carry. The only other distraction was the flowers, rubrum lilys, which were beautiful, but oppressively fragrant for the small space. We were surrounded on both sides by them!"

"We went here for restaurant week and had a great meal! Everything was great! Only complaints would be that we had to ask to get bread served to us and while the restaurant is small, there werent a lot of people there so it would have been nice to not have been sat at the 2 top right next to a table of 4 who were mere inches away. All the servers though were amazing and on top of everything else and we would go back during our next trip to Chicago!"
