Buca di Beppo - White Marsh
Buca di Beppo serves authentic Italian cuisine in an eclectic, vintage setting. Our dishes are served family-style, meant to be shared by everyone at the table. Two sizes are available: BUCA SMALL feeds up to two and BUCA LARGE feeds up to four. At Buca, guests delight in our lively atmosphere, enjoy the classic tunes of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin and admire our decor, including family photos and candid shots of Italian-American icons, such as Sophia Loren and Joe DiMaggio. "We went for Mother's Day and were sadly disappointed that they didn't offer a Mother's Day Brunch, especially since we had a reservation for the morning. However, the staff was very friendly and informative. They gave us tidbits of knowledge about the restaurant and answered all our questions about the menu. The food was delicious and they pakced up our leftovers to take along with us.We will definitely go again!"

"This is a fun Italian family style restaurant from the red checkered tablecloths to the 100's of Italian themed pictures. The veal parmigiana, antipasto salad, Italian creme cake and cheesecake were good. The shrimp florentine needed help. The shrimp lacked flavor. When you live in a seafood town your expectations are pretty high."

"My family really enjoyed this restaurant. The waitress had a positive attitude and really made us feel like we were important. I loved the surroundings and just the overall service. "I rated the experience as 'good' because in all fairness the food was good and the service was not horrible. On the otherhand, we were seated in a VERY crowded, dark room (so crowded I could not back my chair up) and the conversation of the group in the room with us was VERY unpleasant. We asked the waiter if we could move and he said the group was about to leave. So we reluctantly agreed to wait. However the group remained there after paying the bill & continued to talk so loud, the people at my table could not hear one another & the waiter had to repeat things several times. We were never offered the opportunity to move again even after it was clear the group did not plan to leave. It ruined our conversation and enjoyment of the outing"

"This was our second time we have eaten there. The first time was just a few weeks after opening and the service was very slow. It took about 3 hours to finish from the time we sat down. We thought we would give it another try now that it has been oen for a few months. We had reservations for 7:30 pm. We arrived a fww minutes early and it took them about 20 minutes to seat us. And the table they sat usat we could see from the hostess stand and it had been clear since we arrived . Not sure why it took 20 minutes to sit down. Once seated we were greeted fairly quickly and got our drinks in an acceptable amount of time. Then we ordered appetizers and our meals. It took over an hour for the appetizers. Just very slow in the kitchen!"

"I don't dine at chains very often but this has been one of my favs for a while! The whitemarsh location didn't let me down! Our waitress was energetic, friendly and on top of things! Good service can be hard to find, she did a great job! We ordered bruschetta that could serve a whole table since there was only 2 of us we weren't upset to have leftovers! We both agreed we will be back and bring our husbands next time soo good!"

"The Family Style meals are great for groups, but it was not successful for only 2 people. We ended up with a huge salad (although it was a small bowl portion) and one chicken dish and took home about half because we couldn't finish it. I would have liked to try more things, but the portions were so impossibly large that we ended up tasting only 2 items. Sometimes, I need to eat alone, and this place, although very good, would never work for a single."

"Thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Kitchen table was bustling with energetic employees who occasionally stopped to chat. The chef even took a few minutes of his time to greet us and check on the food. The food- the food was delicious. As my mom put it so perfectly in regards to her meal - "THAT'S how spaghetti is supposed to be." Also, our waiter -Tyler- was extremely attentive and very amicable. "The bar and kitchen were out of sync with the service. It took too long for our drinks to arrive, the appetizers were delivered in three seperate deliveries spaced apart which made the main course seem like it took forever- althought the main course was timed fairly well. Also, we ordered 2 pitchers of red sangria and were told only had one pitcher of red sangria left. That was actually a blessing as the pre-mix red sangria was disappointing."

"My husband I and went to dinner for the first time here on Valentine's day and brought our one year old with us. The staff there was so friendly and the food was excellent! We will definitely be back in the near future!"

"Had a great experience. Our server "Tyler" was exceptional (be sure to ask for him!). Food portions were large and very good. This was girls night out and it turned out to be a really enjoyable time. Definitely will be back."

"This was my first visit at Bucca-did my research prior to going, found out it was a chain restaurant, not my favorite type of place, but the family stle dining interested me.
The food was delicious, and portions were satisfactory.
The waitress I had left alot to be desired, I am chalking it up to the restaurant being new and I went on (Valentine's Day) a holiday, so...
I will try it agian, but if service doesn't improve immensly I will not go back."

"The layout of the restaurant was very different from the layout of the previous restaurant and a nice change with the little nook rooms making it feel very cozy.
The family style format was a little different because we weren't sure about the size of the foods we ordered. The food was excellent and we would come again. Overall a good experence."

"I first discovered Buco Di Beppo in 1998 while on a business trip in Seattle. The first night, my co-worker and I were exploring the area and noticed a line out the door of this restaurant. We had already eaten, so we visited the following night. We didn't realize it was "family style" so the portions were huge-and some of the best Italian food we've ever had. We now have our own in Baltimore!"

Had dinner with my wife and daughter this past Sunday. We were offered the kitchen table for seating if we liked. I thought it would be a good experience for my daughter so we chose to do that. My daughter enjoyed herself and the staff was very attentive, very nice. The food was very good with the exception of the fried Calamari which we didn't care for. The manager checked in with us and ask if everything was up to our standards at which time we told him we didn't care for the Calamari. He then apologized, ask it there was something else we would care for, and removed it from our bill.
It was the first time we had eaten at di Beppo and I will say it will not be the last. Overall it was a good experience."

"We had such a great time! The service was excellent...I cannot stop raving on the service. We were a group of 15, but the waiters were extremely attentive the entire night. It certainly made the special occasion (birthday celebration) that much more meaningful. Absolutely loved my experience!"

"This is a great place. First time I went to Bucc'a I was out of town. I was thrilled to learn to a Bucc's had opened in White Marsh. Because this is a new spot it doesn't appear the word is out because we were able to get a seat without waiting. This will soon change. The chopped salad is very good and the dishes are plentiful."

"The food was good, but the service was BAD! I had a reservation for over 3 weeks and the manager, who was working the hostess table greeted us and then went on to wait on another customer and didn't state they were getting the table ready. When I asked her what was going on, I was told, your early, you can wait. When finally seated and served drinks, we were then offered the table we orginally requested on the reservation and the host didn't give us enough menus. The server was asked questions and couldn't respond. When the meal was complete and the bill paid, I was not given my credit card back. I drove back the next day and was give 2 $10 gift cards (not even 1% of the meal cost of $160) that expire in 3 days. POOR management!"

"Service was horrible. She asked for wine order and forgot all about it. After 2 reminders, she brought a regular glass instead of 9 oz. Whatever we asked for was forgotten. Brought bread for two people instead of 4. Chicken marsala tasted like they poured an extra cup of sugar in it. No sauce on pasta. Asked for extra, she never brought it. Never cleared salad plates until after dinner came. Brought dessert without clearing dinner plates. Food was barely fare in taste. Service awful."

"Great food (Salad 1863 is off the chart) great art on the walls great service, we had a very attentive waiter (not too attentive). We have been to Buca in 3 different states and the only difference with the White Marsh location is that they do not take you thru the kitchen and explain why Buca is like the Italian family dining experience. We have been to this location 2 times since they opened and we plan to return."

Caesar salad was good as was the mozzarella appetizer but they came in the wrong order. But that was not a big deal.
Veal parmigiana however was only so so. Mediocre at best. And this was one dish where the "large" barely served
