"We have been coming to Disney for years but had not eaten anywhere around the Pleasure Island area. May 8 was my birthday& the one thing I wanted was to go to House of Blues. We made a reservations prior to our trip & was excited.
We were both disappointed. I envisioned this restaurant to be filled with blues music and the look to be much more themed. Seated in the back of the restaurant & not music even on the intercom. Looked like an average restaurant you could find anywhere. Food ok but not at all special. Had better tasting dishes for less than half the cost. I could not recommend your restaurant to family or friends. I suggest you invest some capital into changing the look and add music. Just an ordinary restaurant twice the price."

"My team was in Orlando for a conference this week. We had our team night out at House of Blues - Orlando. While the restaurant was able to handle a late increase in number and separate checks were no problem, we had to wait about 15 minutes for our reserved table to be available. Not a big deal. However, service was incredibly slow. We were there for almost 2 hours. Our waitress did not come back to check on us during the meal. Would have expected better for a party of 10 on a mid-week night. Dinner was good, but nothing special. Disappointed."

We asked our waiter for the "Pass the Line" option for our food. The food and service was excellent, though, it took a while for our entrées to come. "I have gone to this restaurant many times and have always enjoyed it. This is the first time I've been in a while and have to say I was truly impressed with the new menu.....minus the fact that the calamari isn't there anymore. "NOT OpenTable friendly! Checked in at 5:50 PM for a 6:15 PM confirmed reservation to be seated at 6:50 PM. OpenTable, I was explained is not integrated with the numerous Disney reservations they are accustomed to getting daily. Once we were seated service was exceptional and the food was really good compared to all the other Disney style mass quick service dining options. A unique and flavorful fried chicken that will be remembered and a really interesting spin on shrimp and grits. Best meal we had on our Disney trip. Cool vibe in outdoor bar area and in general very friendly staff. They also failed to report my reservation correctly to OpenTable as I was originally responding to why I had not kept reservation."

"we planned our dinning option ahead because we had a concert to go to. We made our reservation for 6:15pm. we were not seated until 7 oclock. and we waited several minutes. our waiter didnt come by to get our drink or food order for a while but kept passing our table. we went to the manager and asked for a different server, then he fially came to take the order. we ordered our meals. (no time for appitizers) and they came out in an acceptable amout of time. however, due to the late seating and slow service. we felt rushed and in a hurry to eat and move to our show as soon as possible. we were just disappointed. we only eat here on special occasions. i was disappointed with the timing and how we couldnt really even enjoy our experience here."

"We went for a preconcert dinner. The Dropkick Murphy's were playing. Also, if you eat before the show you are allowed to enter half an hour before others allowed.
The food for the restaurant is very southern..expected..but if you are avoiding garlic and other spicy foods..you might want to stick to your every day turkey club sandwich.
We used a 50.00 restaurant.com certificate that cost me 4.00 so I didn't really care what anyone ordered on the menu. A party of six and our bill came to 127.00 with tip using the certificate. Now, if I didn't have the 50.00 certificate and it came to 177+ I would definitely complain that their prices were too high.
Definitely a place to eat at least once when you visit the Downtown Disney area"

"While visiting the area for a conference, a small group of us discussed where to eat. We decided to try Cross Roads at the House of Blues. It was definitely a wise decision. The food was great with very reasonable prices. Several of us had the St. Louis Ribs and they were so tender and spiced just perfectly, with extra sauce on the side for those who wanted it. I had made reservations for a group of 8 but we ended up with an extra person going with us and accomodations were made for that. This is a great place to eat, chat with your fellow diners and have a good time. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area!"

"Reservation through open table was convenient and we actually were seated a few minutes before our allotted time. Establishment was busy but not overly so. Ordered an appetizer and dinner at the same time. Literally about a minute later we had our entrees, but appetizer had not arrived. It did a couple of minutes later. We returned it to the kitchen. The food was good but we had come to relax a bit however we felt rushed so that took greatly away from the experience."

"Service was good and attentive. Food was fair to poor. Hot wing appetizers were pretty good being well cooked and crispy with good favor. Ribs were juicy but sauce was something nasty out of a bottle simply splattered on top. Jambalaya was essentially inedible. This dish consisted of a large mound of pasty mush of what looked like rice and tomato's likely cooked and reheated from several days before. French fries were some kind of frozen fries from a bag but at least they were well cooked. "I had the opportunity to entertain some co-workers from a sister plant from Arizona and I wanted to bring them somewhere that they would remember. The live music and outside bar was really nice touch. The menu offered a lot of variety and the food was really great. The mixed drinks were really done well. We walked in 30 minutes early and they seated us right away. The waitress was very friendly and made all of us feel really comfortable. We had a really great time."

"Service was outstanding which was great considering it was Valentin'e Day. She was efficient and friendly. I wasn't too hungry so ordered the house salad and a side of macaroni and cheese....It was a large salad and a generous portion of mac and cheese, particulary for a side dish; both were delicious. Salad fresh and with plenty of nuts and feta and a tasty dressing. The mac and cheese was served very hot & the bread crumbs on top, usually not to my liking, really added something to the dish. Perhaps because they were so fine rather than large pieces. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his ribeye with the delicious charred taste and was cooked perfectly to his request. We both enjoyed the very delious key lime pie; a very generous portion."

"I guess I must have built up the idea of the House of Blues in my head as a non-stop fun-time venue...especially the Downtown Disney location. It was indeed not. The food was blah. The server was the only saving grace for the evening; he was very pleasant and professional from the start. I was really disappointed in my experience. This restaurant will definitely go on the list of, "been there, no need to do it again" spots."

"In the first place, House of Blues is our favorite dining spot in Downtown Disney and this time was the best. Ours was a birthday lunch/meet up with nine people. From the moment we arrived and until we left, the service was world class friendly. Flexible floor plan and seating allows larger parties space to sit together without feeling cramped. Great wait staff - knowledgeable and very attentive. The food was beautifully presented in perfect proportions and great tasting. Extra stars for the Shrimp and Grits as well as the Lobster Mac and Cheese. All was reasonably priced. The folk art, displayed everywhere makes Crossroads at House of Blues an all-time favorite."

"I have been waiting 2 years to go to House of Blues for dinner. We have made several trips to Orlando and never made it to the restuarant so I was excited to have dinner there. I was disappointed with the food. I couldnt understand how this restaurant associated with BB KING could have such average food. Then I noted that it seems that the restaurant had been bought out by Crossroads. So that explaints it. Food is very average. I ordered ribs and the baked beans were awful. My husband nor myself could eat them. The meat on the ribs was tough and wasnt even close to falling of the bone. The cole slaw was ok, not the best nor the worst I ever had....average. The french fries were good! The salad needed something more than lettuce and feta che"
