"I only had the beet salad so I can't judge the quality of the food. My friends, however, had full meals and said they were excellent.
Our waiter was professional, friendly, and attentive. Will definitely go there again as I loved the ambience and the overall feel being in the restaurant. Will try some of the Entrees and give a better analysis of the food later after another visit."

"Went for special opening for Mother's Day brunch. Only a few brunch items, but the full normal menu was available. Had the special french toast for appetizer and the sea bass for lunch. Both fantastic. Only comment is that this restaurant only has one high chair. Not exactly mother's day friendly. Excellent for lunch or dinner, but leave the kids home."

"We were a party of 8, and everything we ordered from appetizers & salads, to entrees, was delicious. The service was efficient, but the servers were all a bit stiff & stuffy. There was a great saxophonist playing table-to-table, but never came to our table even though we asked to get his card. But, the food was excellent! Some of the best fish we had ever eaten."

"I have eaten at grill 401 several times and have not been disappointed yet. Not only is the food excellent - I had terrific coconut shrimp roll and Chilean sea bass the staff is super friendly. The decor is also very upscale were you can take guests. i feel like i'm getting a whole dinning experience when I eat here!"

"We went for an early dinner with my boyfriend's parents. The restaurant was a little warm upon arrival. After asking management, they turned the AC up which helped out significantly. My boyfriend had the ribs which were excellent. The crab cakes were tasty as well. I had the special which was grouper with a lemon/butter sauce. I did not enjoy the special as it was too rich for me. My boyfriend's father loved it. Overall, great experience."

"A light lunch menu in addition to their regular menu is always a hit with "ladies who lunch". Delicious choices and the right ambiance for talking. This might become my regular lunch place with friends. Have had dinner here as well and can highly recommend the salmon on a plank."

"Everything about this restaurant was great!!! Food was excellent. We ordered the seabass and prime rib. The raspberry bread pudding was tne best. The wedge salad was fresh and cold. Our waiter was knowledgable and the manager was wonderful. Can't wait to go back with friends and have another wonderful dinner."

"Super new find! Awesome food and great service. Our waitress was beyond accommodating and went above and beyond when half of our party was late. The food was super delicious and we couldn't have asked for a better recommendation from our server when we had asked her what she recommended. She was truly spot on with what was awesome on the menu. We had the tempura shrimp roll w/eel sauce to start. We then had salads and soups which all varied but were delicous! For entrees two of us had the Sea Bass which was phenomenal. The others had the Cedar Plank Salmon and the Pineapple Churrasco which both loved beyond words!"

"It is wonderful to have a moderately priced restaurant with a varied menu in the Las Olas area. The sound baffling encourages conversation without yelling. The food and service are consitently excelllent. The vegetables are creative and fresh, without the usual overcooking for expediency. The fresh fish of the day is suculent with each dfifferent preparaton. The servers really make you feel welcome."

"I was impressed that on a busy Saturday night that we were seated promptly and a table adorned with a "reserved" sign. I had the plank salmon (which I had seen in the online menu) and it was excellent. My friend had another fish dish which was also excellent.

"What a pleasent Surprise! Went in with no expectations but was curious because I have seen how beautiful it was inside. Was a little bright when first walking in, but when seated the lighting was better fitted and with great accustics and had Patrick who was a great server. The food was fantastic and all at a great value. My table of 2 had the grilled artichoke which was great, the ribs were fantastic and a great bone in ribe eye. Oh and the peanut ginger cole slas was unlike any other. Cant wait to go back!!!"

"We dined as a party of 6 on Saturday night. We all enjoyed this restaurant under the last 2 prior owners, however this time we were very disappointed. Starting with the atmosphere, previously this restaurant was beautifully decorated with sparkling chandeliers and mood lighting. When we entered we commented on how they got rid of all that made the restaurant special and replaced it with dark wood and fabrics that didn't even match. We commented that we felt like we were in a restaurant in a mall. Sure enough the server explained that they were owned by the company that owns Pinon Grill in Boca Town Center and Brimstone in Pembroke Gardens. Food was very mediocre. We would not dine there again."

"The place is very attractive and offers a mix of bar scene and upscale restaurant atmosphere. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating. We had a birthday group of 8 and the service worked mostly alright. Tuna tartare was outstanding, the beet salad was also divine. Several of us ordered skirt steak which was well done regardless of requests for medium-rear. We gave the feedback to the servers and they were helpful in accommodating us."
