The Snow Village team chose Centropolis Laval as the perfect spot for its first Ice Restaurant outside the Montreal Snow Village. Produced in collaboration with the renowned Auberge Saint-Gabriel restaurant and its chef Eric Gonzales, the Amarula ice restaurant will be open 7 days and week and will offer weekday business lunches and a gourmet 3-course dinner menu. And on the weekends, guests will be treated to the most unforgettable brunch north of the Saint Lawrence.

"This type of restaurant should be for adult only. Kids in a restaurant always scream, run, move around, too excited. I was there to ha ve nice dinner with my boyfriend after a long day of work. Kids got McDonald to fool around. Also, a host is highly recommended. We arrive there with a reservation, a rope was closing the access. We wait there for awile until someone come see us. That guy didn't ask if we had a reservation. It was really expensive for what we got fir dinner. We asked for more bread and we are still waiting! After the family with the bunch of kids left, we were alone in the restaurant. That is when we asked for the bread. Too bad, it could have alop of potential."

"Unfortunately despite knowing that we were coming, they ran out of food! No main courses were available. A simple phone call could have saved us from a colossal waste of time. I could see how it would have been nice if we could have eaten."

"My wife wanted to go for her birthday, she wanted to live an experience. I asked two other couples to join us, they accepted. We saw the advertising in the local paper, we were expecting to have a blast but that didn't happen. To explain, we get in, the waiters are very nice but they don't seem to be very experienced... We are paying 70$ a cover after all. The food was very good but the portions were small. Futhermore, we couldn't take our choice of main course, we had to share within the couples the same course, but, when it came, it was good. The dessert was an apple compote with white chocolate bits, is was good but, we were hoping for more I guess. The clincher was the coffee served in plastic cup, stone cold... That did it... for 570$"

"It was a busy the day, we went (valentine's day evening) I don't think there was enough staff especially when u know how many people ur expecting (everyone reserves before coming...)
Plus at the end they forgot to give us the free passes for the festival de neige de Montreal (it comes free when you have the supper menu which we had)....
Other than that, I think it's a nice experience, something to try at least once in ur life."

"it is a very interesting restaurant. it is not the kind that you should go to every week, but once or twice in a lifetime.i went on valentine's day with my bf and it was cool.the food was alright;there were only two choices on the menu because it was valentine's day, it would've been nice if there were at least 5 choices;the portions were also a tad small...since it is an igloo, you cant really stay there more then 2 hrs, but they do provide you with a blanket...i would recommend it to others, not because of their food but of the experience."

"This is my first time in a resto de Glace, to tell you the truth, I won't go everyday because first, I find it too expensive $200.00 for two, second I wasn't well prepared, so I was freezing while eating, and we had to rush to finish faster. But it was a good experience over all!"

"The food was good, it was a bit cold inside, but we were warned ahead of time to dress for the temperature, so it came as no surprise.The service was excellent with waiters and hosts coming around to offer blankets and to make sure we were well taken care of. Overall, a great experience, and something you have to try at least once."
