Sitting comfortably between Latin Quarter and the Plateau, facing St. Louis Square, Bistrot La Fabrique's original concept awakens the senses. Center stage: the kitchen! Surrounded by warm wood and smooth concrete, the open kitchen creates a dynamic ambiance in which a great food and new wines can be enjoyed amongst friends.
"Wine was great, the homemade pickles and whipped butter starter were also very good. the Veal medallion with fig and polenta was strangely too sweet from the figs and I wouldn't recommend that dish. The salmon and the braised beef and beet salad were excellent though. Would definitely come back again. They give you cotton candy instead of mint candies!"

"Staff provided excellent service! Were very attentive, but in an indescrete manner. Enjoyed because it was relaxed in atmosphere, but still provided the high end details."

"The service was great and friendly, and the food was excellent. Tourists visiting Montreal should consider this restaurant. Best for couples or group of 4. Not for large group. Thanks to the team for the great evening."

"This was our second time here, the first being during montreal a la table. We had a good meal then, this time not so much. The service was mediocre (took about 30 minutes before ordering amongst other things). The menu is somewhat misleading, we were surprised when we received our entrées. We ordered 25cl of wine, we basically got a bottle of wine which we were told had that amount left. Finally, our dessert had a piece of iron (used to scrub the pans) in it. Sad since the pain perdu is quite good. Basically, had this of been our first experience we would not of went back. Now we aren't."

"I went for valentine's day with my girlfriend and we took a 45$ bottle of wine. The bill was for 180$ and we ate really well. Only dissapointment was that we were not reminded that desert was included and so we just paid the bill and forgot about it. The waiter should have at least reminded us but we were only 4 left in the restaurant and it felt like they wanted to close nice and quick.
Food was excellent though but price was fair to even a little expensive for the portions.
I would not recommend for dinners, but would definitely 100% for brunches. 10 for brunches and 6.5 for dinners."

"Excellent restaurant with a creative menu and attentive service. Our server provided us with excellent food recommendations and his knowledge of the wine list was exceptional. I will definitely be back."

"Ive made 6 reservations all over town for my birthday, this is the definite winner! Server was welcoming as soon as you stepped in, and was attentive throughout. We had the squash soup, beets salad, salmon tartar and foie gras- combination of each item was thoughtful and impeccable."

"We were 4 and we all enjoyed our dishes. Generous portions, menu is well balanced and tasty. Fabrique pays attention to little things like flavoured butter, homemade pickels, warm grilled bread. Even the deserts are good. Definitely one of my favorite restos."
