"Scosso is located in the former Bertucci's location in the North Shore Mall. They did a very nice job renovating it to be a more upscale restaurant. Scosso has an extensive wine list with a good variety. We tried the shrimp and scallop plate and the eggplant rolletini appetizers. Both were nicely done, especially the rolletini, which had a creamy ricotta stuffing. For dinner we chose the veal, shrimp and scallop plate with a lemony wine sauce, which had a nice touch by adding hot cherry peppers and the veal saltimbocca, which was also very tasty. For dessert the seven layer chocolate cake and lemoncello cake were both rich, good sized and included fresh whipped cream and strawberries. A nice dining experience at a reasonable price."

"We went here for Mother's Day, the service and food was fantastic!! Portions are huge, we all brought half of our meals home. The Shrimp & Scallop Scampi appetizer was actually large enough to be a meal without the carbs!!

"My husband and I went to Scosso for our anniversary last week after having it recommeded by some friends and were amazed at the service and food! The eggplant rollatini for an appetizer was unbelieveable. The entrees were more than delicious, with quite large portions. We were able to squeeze in dessert and a few delicious martinis as well! We will definitely become regulars here. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was very nice for our special occasion."

We had reservations for 7:30, got there 15 minutes later, got seated quickly. My girlfriend asked that we could get different seating as we would've been on top of the other tables.
We did get a slightly better table but it was still much to close to our neighbors.

The waitress was asked 3 times by us for water and then finally, we got it. We got a re-order for martinis, and the waitress asked only my girlfriend and not we if I too wanted a drink.
We actually left at 11p.m.!
Would I go back there? ---- Maybe. The food was good as were the drinks. The service was clearly lacking. The room had a cafeteria feel to it. All said, a disappointment."

"To whom it may concern, I am writing to inform you of the dinner experience I had last night with my fiancé. We made on-line reservations for 830pm. We got there at 8 and no one was there to greet us for a few minutes which is not bad as if its busy thats usually a good sign. So we check in and to our surprise we were seated right away. "The drink list was extensive and the food was tasty (but not outstanding). Our waiter was inattentive. We had to flag him down to get more drinks. We were also seated at the first booth to the right on the first floor. Every time the door would open it was FREEZING. The hostess wasn't really paying attention and the door would get stuck open. If they are going to seat people that close to that door, it should be used as an emergency exit only."

"Was excited to hear that the owners of Venetian Moon branched out with this new restaurant. Place was alive and atmosphere was nice. Drinks were great! Service however ruined our night out. Waitress was all business. Curt, pushed us several times to order after we told her we were not ready. Waited 45 mins for apps, 45 mins for salad (thrown down on the table at us) 45 mins for meal. After complaining to the manager, service level increased with a smile. Such a shame as we enjoy going out to dinner and was hoping this would have been a new place to visit and recommend."

"The restaurant was great! The staff eager to meet all our requests. Only reason for giving four out of five stars was we went on Saturday Night and our group absolutely loves the meatball appetizer, they were out at 730pm on what I would guess to be their busiest night. The martini selection although huge is missing a few favorites from the Venetian Moon. Absolutely love the light up drink menus!!! Great night!!!"

The martini list is interesting and creative. However, the music being played at the bar is absolutely horrible. It's like some weird techno fusion music more suited for a dance club than a trendy bar. It's kind of distracting."

"overall not a bad experience, just one hiccup after we ordered and had our salads, we were waiting say over half hour for our main meal to come, the waiter comes over and says i`msorry to inform you we are out of rib eye steak, Ok how about letting us know a lot earier. offered to get our guest something elese. and appologized. The hostess came over after to also appologize and offered us drinks or desert comped , Food was good to say .Just need the kitchen to know what is going on in there. Only question is how can you run out of rib steak on a saturday night, and you are open on sunday? Todays meats come portioned and cryovac to retain freshness. "A complete customer service disaster! Great ambiance, lighting, vibe and bar/lounge area. I was certainly impressed upon walking in and my wife and I enjoyed our drinks as we sat in the bar area waiting to be called for an 8pm reservation. Numerous times the hostesses would walk by and ask our names to be seated but we never did get called. At about 8pm, with limited flow into the dining area, I asked if there were delays and was told somebody would get back to me. At 8:20pm I checked in again and was told they were "way behind" so with no apologies, no offer of a free beverage or bread and no remorse, we left."

"Food was excellent, with generous portions and fair prices. The ambiance was really upbeat, contemporary and cool. The wine list was pretty nice and the martinis were pretty amazing.
All of this being said, we will never be returning to Scosso. We were sat 45 minutes after our reservation time as were many of the surrounding tables/parties. There were no apologies for this nor was an explanation offered. 10 minutes after we were sat, our server who was practically running through the dining room, came over to us. During those initial 10 minutes, all we could hear were the complaints from the surrounding tables re: slow service. The drinks came after the appetizers and the entrees came 1 hr after being ordered. A true disappointment."

"Made a last-minute reservation at Scosso; questioned how good a mall restaurant would be, but thought we'd give it a try. We really liked it. Our server was excellent; our reservation was honored; we had a choice of table. Menu is varied, although broad range of pricing, which is unusual. Food portions are extremely generous - we'll be eating for at least 2 days more. Liked the pasta options which allowed variation of protein - chicken, veal, or shrimp. Service was prompt. Wine menu is backlit - I guess so easier to read in dim lighting. Great idea with unfortunate unforeseen consequence. Some diners actually kept it standing up and lit on their tables throughout their meals, which was very distracting to adjoining diners."

"I definitely would return to try more dishes. The drinks where amazing and the food was great - large amounts of food. I did request a booth and I got a table. I wasn't happy being in the main walking area but I will return. Service was well-timed and friendly."

"Food was delicious, although appreciate the salad comes with the entree, it was plain. With everything else so tasty - it is more noticeable. This salad would be fine at a chain restaurant, but for Scosso would expect something more delectable- with nuts, cheese, dried fruit, etc. Martinis were great - however, we each had 2 rounds - and the same martini that was ordered for both rounds - had coconut in the 2nd one - which then made us realize the 1st round was missing the coconut."

"Liked the decor. Our seat had a draft form the outside door so I was cold. They had a portable heater next to our table which didn't help much. Started with the meatball appetizer and did not like. Can't compare to mine!! Dinner salad was plain. Our entrees were good. Chicken marsala and veal/chicken/shrimp w/homemade fusilli in spicy white wine sauce. A little too "hot" for me, but a good dish overall. Great martini menu although we didn't indulge at the time. Would like to go back for cocktails!!"

"The food, drinks and services was great, but even though we made a reservation there was still a 15/20 minute wait. Plus we placed our food order in around 8:15 and didn’t get it until 10. Thank god our meals came with a salad or I would have been ready to pass out."

"Food was good but service was horrible. Waitress kept telling us kitchen was "slammed" but it wasn't so busy that it should take 1.5 hours for chicken broccoli and ziti! Too bad because this would be a place I would go again as we enjoyed the meal very much when it finally arrived. All the patrons around us were having same issue and as I read reviews on Yelp and Open Table I see that it is a consistent problem at Scosso."

Smallest wine pour ever!!!
Swordfish on bone was very good - but much smaller than previous portions of swordfish. also plate was tooooo hot -
