"This is a very historic and beautiful restaurant. It is a great special occasion place. We were there for our anniversary.
The service was excellent. The food was good, however, not that good for the price. I have had meals that were just as good elsewhere for half the price. Do not get the chef's pick dinner. Not worth the price. You are better off ordering off the menu.

"My son and husband celebrated graduation from Colorado School of Mines with a round of golf at the main course. I believe a picture on the first tee in full cap and gown regalia was taken and will be enjoyed for years.
The completion of this round of golf required a nice, quiet place to relax, enjoy a cocktail and then a wonderful meal. Charles Court knocked the ball out of the park! Very nice! Well cone."

"The Broadmoor is such a beautiful place. My husband & I come here year after year. The food at all of the restaurants, with the exception of the golf course restaurant, is always disappointing. It would be so easy to tweak all of the menus & serve really good food. Management really needs to address the poor quality of the food they offer in all of their restaurants. If the Broadmoor wasn't such a beautiful facility, we wouldn't be back year after year to suffer through the poor food choices."

"The food was very good and the service was impeccable. We were one of four tables in the whole dining area so it was relatively quiet. We were actually the only people there for the first twenty minutes. Our drinks were always refilled and we were offered extra bread and olives whenever our waiter saw that we were low. Great attention by the service staff. The decoration was eclectic, especially for a five-star hotel dining room, but it didn't take away from the evening."

"The wait staff was top notch. My wife has food allergies and so eating out is often a challenge but it was her birthday and she wanted to go out. When informed of the challenges we have with food they went out of their way, including creating dishes not on the menue, to ensure we had a memorable experience.

"With a view of the lake--green pond really--here at the Broadmoor, this is a very nice place to eat with many elegant choices for dinner! Once the cook figures out how to cook lamb, it will be even better, but I hasten to add that the manager did not hesitate to comp my whole meal once he realized that it took a full hour for me to get my lamb entree. They were very gracious, even allowing me to order dessert and again, not charging me for any of it!"

"Outstanding!!!...after reading reviews from other diners I was regretting my reservation...WRONG!...from hostess greeting to hostess appreciative farewell...I can tell you how wonderful this was!...Mercede ( sp) was our server and she was wonderful!...sommelier helped to select a fantastic wine...the pace was spot on and my pork tenderloin was fabulous and my daughter demonstrated how she could cut her beef tenderloin without a knife...in all I can not complain about anything!...we had a lovely time!...and thank you for the congratulations special dessert?..that was most Lind and special for my daughter!!!"

"The food was uninspired. I've honestly dined better at chain restaurants. My wife had an over-cooked salmon filet while I struggled through a very bland roasted chicken dish. With white-jacketed waiters, a lakeside view, and prices to match, I certainly expected better. I won't return nor will I recommend it to anyone.
While this clearly wasn't the fault of the restaurant, having to listen to a table of crying and screaming children during dinner certainly contributed to the disappointing experience.
My wife and I, in keeping with the restaurant's recommended dress code, dressed for the occasion. Note that the restaurant apparently does not enforce this code in any way. Jeans and very casual dress were in abundance."

"We had a very romantic dinner, complete with evening gown and tuxedo. The staff waited on us like we were royalty, and made the evening even more special. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, tried some things we had never tried before, enjoyed superb wine, and a desert that is to die for (coconut-pineapple cobbler). The price was as expected, and well worth the qaulity of the experience. It was one of those evenings that will be remembered forever."

"Our dining experience at Charles Court was outstanding! That said, this was a return visit - so we were not surprised. The services was impeccable, the food outstanding, and the ambiance was quite and pleasant. Charles Court is definitely on our list of places to dine on our future visits to the Broadmoor."
