"The food is very good. The caesar salad dressing is one of the best we've ever had. The veal is really tender and the pizzas are really good too but you may want to think about sharing the pizzas. Don't worry if you can't finish your meal, the servers are happy to pack up the remainder to go. One of the members in our group had life threatening food allergies and they were very good about trying to accommodate him. Entertainment is always great but too loud if you want to have a conversation. Would be better if they turned the volume down a little."

"I wouldn't necessarily consider this "authentic Italian cuisine"; more like American Italian cuisine. The veal piccata and veal parmesan were good, but the accompanying penne was bland and either over-cooked or under-cooked (depending on the plate). Focaccia and salads were very good.
There were 6 of us for dinner. The waiter apparently couldn't find another staff member to help him serve the food, so at each course he would serve 4 of us then return to the kitchen for the other 2 dishes, leaving us staring at our plates for 2 - 3 minutes."

"I had booked reservations on Open Table. Parking was terrible. Entertainment was absolutely fantastic, although a little loud. If you're going to Nonna's for a quick bite, don't bother. It took forever to get anything. Water, wine apps, and dinner. Once you got your food it was delicious! Wine selection could be upgraded but over all I would go back again."

"We have been here several times since moving into the Aldershot area and we have NOT had one bad meal. The meals seem to be a little different each time but that probably depends on the cook."

"We cannot rate the food because we did not stay. We got seated at a table in the 'table-for-two' area, very close to people on either side of us. And there was live music which was right next to us, and very loud. We asked if we could be moved over to another table-for-two a little bit a way from the music. The waitress said that table had a reservation for 7 p.m. (we got there at 6:30) but she'd see what she could do. And then she literally disappeared. After about 10 minutes we just left. No one bothered to say a thing to us as we left. Obviously, we are not going back primarily because we felt our comfort was simply not important to them at all."

"My first experience there with my friend in from Vancouver. We were the only ones in the restaurant for about 45 mins. Had soup, salad coffee and dessert. Soup was very tastesy but was luke warm, had to send it back to have it heated. Salad was ceasar and good flavour but alot of rusty looking lettuce, but I ate it. It was monday and maybe they did not have fresh lettuce in from weekend. My daughter goes there always and just loves it, we are moving to an apartment right across the street and will frequent Noona's alot I know. A lovely charming restaurant and I know my next experience will be better. Don't misunderstand me, the food was very tastey just not hot at all .
Great coffee!! Thank you"

"We enjoyed the entertainment and food was delicious. Service was very slow and we had to wait a while for our good, but the restaurant was packed, so maybe they were not expecting this large crowd. They ran out of the ricotta gnocchi and replaced it with potato gnocchi. Being from Italian descent, I did not find the potato gnocchi very good -- too hard. Pasta however, was delicious and properly cooked. Purchasing wine by the bottle WAY too expensive."

"We love everything about this place! The food is fantastic and the ambience is mellow, we especially enjoyed the live music. Our only suggestion would be to have more staff available for serving. We found the service slow as there were only 3 people on tables (that we counted) for the entire restaurant and it was a busy Friday night. Otherwise, 2 thumbs up!"

"the food was very good, the service was also very good. the only thing we didn't care for was the singer directly behind us so that we couldn't carry a conversation without yelling at one another.my wife also said that she very much felt that it was cold in the resturant"

"I found the atmosphere to be quite pleasant. the service was good, the food some what underwhelming when you consider what they're charging. I especially was dissappointed in the wine. I selected a bottle of wine that was recommended to me by the waiter, I can't recall the name other than it was an Italian Ameroni. I was hoping for a full body wine and ended up with a flat sort of watered down red wine that cost me $60."

"Four of us went for dinner on Feb. 13th.We made reservations a few days in advance. My husband has been here for lunch and was pleased. The restaurant was quite busy.We arrived at 7:00 and did not get our food until 9:50.We rarely saw our waiter until the restaurant was half empty. He kept apologizing that they didn't expect to be so busy.We mentioned that we had made reservations and he said another table did as well. Not fair we had to take a back seat to those customers that just showed up!The food was good but the treatment was very frustrating. We were not offered a comp. drink, coffee or dessert for our 3 hour wait. I don't know if we will take a chance on dinner here again."

"First experience last December was not favourable. I was being hosted by a friend and recommended this new find. We had late lunch and due to the shift change and the staff getting ready for a Christmas group; my host was asked to settle the bill [during our main course]as it was and a new bill would be allocated for anything thereafter. Not acceptable. I work in the hospitality industry and each guest that enters your doors is bring a vision and a journey they wish to experience at your property. Decided to give it one more try and hosted my family from out of town for Mom's 73 Birthday luncheon this past Sat.Food Excellent-Server was examplory! I requested a small plate cake & candle. We did not get that! Overall; will be back!"
