"Food was fine. Bit expensive for what it is. Vegetarian so had veggie burger - not my favourite but the other two diners loved them! Ahi tuna was only okay. Nice ambience. Very nice service."

"Took my family here for a birthday dinner as I had read great reviews. The server was ok (very nice) but not very attentive. We ordered and the food came fairly quick. The burger was decent but the fries and onion rings have to be one of the worst I have ever had. They were soggy and fishy tasting and I sent my rings back. Actually all the fries ordered including the sweet potato ones were terrible. The cesear salad it was replaced with was so full of garlic it was barely edible so I left half of it.
I doubt I'd visit again and if I did it would be just to have a beer at the bar."

"I made a reservation for 6:30 pm for a Sunday night. We were seated at our table very promptly. Then - we were ignored for more than 15 minutes - no wait-staff, no water, nothing. I got up and mentioned this to one of the staff. She was wonderful, and took care of us for the rest of the evening. The food was good.
It is a very child friendly restaurant. It was a tad too noisy for my liking (and not from the kids - they were all well behaved). It must have been the acoustics of the room.
I don't know if I will go back again."

"Their computer system crashed when we were there, but amid all the chaos,our server, Barbara, and the manager did their very best to take care of us. An unfortunate glitch that can happen in any good restaurant. The food was still great!"

"The food was great as was the service. Unfortunately, the noise level was way too high so I think the next time we go it might not be on a Friday night. When we arrived, in spite of the huge lineup they served us immediately and were very service oriented!"

"This was our first time at burger cellar. Went as a couple for date night. Vibe was good. At 730 pm on a saturday quite a few families with young children but it wasnt disruptive. Sports were being shown on the tvs by the bar which was nice for sports fans. Service was good. Food was good. My burger was a little on the dry side but I liked the fact that you can get gluten free or whole wheat or regular bun. My coleslaw side was good. Not too saucy. My husbands burger was great and the poutine was yummy but could have been a bit hotter. Good portion size. Overall we would go back. Next time I want the sweet potato fries!"

"This was our first time visiting The Burger Cellar and we would definitely go back. We met out-of-town friends here and they also really enjoyed the visit. We were at The Burger Cellar for lunch on a Sunday. We arrived early and enjoyed the quieter atmosphere, though it did get busier as the afternoon went on. The ambiance is lovely and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. Our food was really good and the selections on the menu really did have something for everyone - even taking into account food allergies and sensitivities. We found The Burger Cellar to be a perfect spot for lunch with friends - excellent quality, happy atmosphere and good value. Thank you!"

"The menu and restaurant looked great! And then the food....very disappointing! The milkshakes were a good start, and we thought yeah, yummy food to follow...The French Onion Soup was salty, vinegar, and not even hot, warm not even. The Burger descriptions sounded delious, that's about it. The burger was dry,the garnish ( tomato, lettuce, onion looked so limp...)Duck Poutine not worth the $11..hardly any fries( looked cold and just a pile of gravy with pieces of dry duck meat... The kids menu was great, if you could order from that. Overall, very disappointed, will not be returning any time soon."

"I always enjoy the Burger Cellar, however, I made the mistake of going early...around 7:00 pm on a Saturday night...
The place was filled with children of all ages...crying, running around the restaurant and the noise was extreme..

"Sides came cold. All had to be redone. Toppings on burgers were omitted. Had to request salt from 3 servers before a shaker was brought to the table. Silverware came after the food was served. Coffee was ordered at the end, only to be told that they had run out."

"This was my first time to this restaurant. The food was good and the wine list was sufficient. However, I would disagree with the description of this restaurant being a wine bar. There were more children (young children) there than adults. I was astounded that there are parents that would bring their children to a restaurant described as a wine bar. I was horrified when I used the rest room and found a woman changing her baby's diaper on the sink. Too bad the customers did not notice the "Macdonalds" across the street which would have been more suitable for their experience (and mine)."

"the Burgers were Good but the service was terrible. our first waiter was uninterested and seemed to be everywhere but his section. we asked another server if he could locate our waiter. He promptly asked if he could help which he did. He made up for the it but the food was average."
