Guy’s American Kitchen & Bar will showcase a wide-ranging menu full of the big, bold flavors Fieri is known for, as well as three full bars, a California-centric wine list, and an extensive draft beer program featuring signature beers craft brewed for Fieri right in New York City.
"We went to Guy's before seeing The Lion King. The food was great, the service was excellent, and it was a very short walk to the theater afterwards. A good place before or after the show!"

"The restaurant was huge. It was clean and the wait staff was friendly. The music was way to loud and I couldn't hear the person next to me. I had requested a booth at my reservation but didn't get one even though there were some empty when we arrived. The food was good and the dessert was to die for. All in all a good experience."

"After reading some reviews (especially the infamous NYT review) I was taking a chance on booking Mother's Day here. But late planning forced my hand. Food was actually quite good. The salmon was moist and flavorful. Pork sliders were very tasty. BBQ bourbon wings were tasty but a tad too saucy. The place was half empty at noon on a Sunday so maybe that helped. Waitress was very friendly, solicitous, attentive...but managed to forget our donkey-sauce-on-the-side request and didn't offer to rectify. I saw another of her tables having some sauce issues, too. Don't know if this is her fault or fault of a kitchen that can't deal with special requests very well. Overall, better than expected. Also - need more vegetarian options!"

"I had a great experience at Guy's American Kitchen and Bar. We were in a rush because we had a show to catch and the waiter was so understanding. He brought us our drinks immediately and our food within 10 minutes. Great service. I had the sangria, which was delicious and the pulled pork skewers, I'm still salivating at the thought of them! Soooo good!! The french fries were also amazing. I would definitely come back to this restaurant on my next trip to NYC."

"This was my first time to NYC in years and I was looking for somewhere to take my mom for Mother's day. I'd seen Guy on TV plenty of times, so I figured it would be worth a shot. The food was great and fast. We ordered appetizers when we got there, and before we could even place our entrees, the food was there. I would definitely recommend this to anyone."

"My family and I were looking for a place to eat in time square so I opened the "open table" app and Guy's restaurant came up. I know him from his famous 'diners, drive-ins and dives' so we made the reservation for 7:30. They seated us immediately and our waiter was there within minutes. We ordered a round of nachos for the table and they were absolutely delicious! For the main I ordered the bacon Mac n cheese with chicken. I am a huge Mac lover and this exceeded my expectations. It was just the right size, the chicken was tender and thin and say right on top of the dish. Everyone else at the table loved what they had (sliders, salad, meatloaf) it was all great food!"

"We were unsure after reading reviews but were thrilled with the food, drinks, and service. We ordered pulled pork slyders, pork tacos, ceasar salad and a burger and all were awesome! We also tried the red camaro sangria which was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for those looking for good American food in time square. It's a great choice for those with picky eaters too."

"My husband, M-I-L and mother paid a visit to NYC, and made reservations at Guy's for lunch. It was a great choice. I expected that the food would be enjoyable, but everything...the food, service, prices and atmosphere were outstanding! We are all fans of Guy's because of his exuberant personality and amazing recipes. The only thing that could have made the experience any better would have been if Guy himself had been there. My husband and I are planning future trips to NYC, and plan on dining at Guy's American Kitchen and Bar again."

"We are big fans of Triple D and live on the East coast. When we found out Guy has a resturant in NYC it was a must to stop there for dinner. We loved all of the food from our appetizers to our main courses. The Gold State beer was delicious and the cream soda was AMAZING! Guys is now a must go to for our trips to NYC. Our server was great and the resturant atmosphere was perfect."

"The Ahi Tuna was way overcooked - almost like rubber, the burger was well done (they don't cook burgers to your specific request) and the chicken was so dry. I would not recomend this restaurant to anyone - waste of money and time.
The service also was truly horrible. The restaurant was not busy at all when we were there. Our waiter never bothered to check up on us to see if we needed more drinks or the food was ok."

"This restaurant has a phenomenal staff! We were greeting warmly and even though we were running late for our reservation, they seated us right away. I had put in our Open Table reservation notes that we had 2 birthday girls with us. Any staff member that saw our girls wished them a happy birthday. That was very special and sweet. We were treated like special guests! Also, the birthday girls loved their complimentary dessert. By the way, the food was fantastic! Our entrees were all delicious and the cocktails were great!"

"Four of us went after a day of sight seeing. We had reservations and although we were early we were seated quickly. Service was excellent as our waiter answered our questions. The menu was not typical of the other restaurants we visited during our Times Square trips. I had Buffalo meatloaf and my wife a pulled pork dish. Both were large portions and were excellent. I enjoyed a craft beer from the large list. My wife enjoyed one of her favorite wines.
If you are looking for a gourmet steak restaurant this is not it. The menu, atomshere, and prices are different but in a pleasant way. We enjoyed it and will likely return."

"I didn't let the reviews and the lousy press bother me so I booked anyway. Was extremely unimpressed with both the food and the ambience. It reminded me of Fridays(I expected a bit more, especially since I was entertaining clients). Having been to other Food Network Chef restaurants such as Bobby Flays and Paula Deens. The meatloaf was OVERLOADED with alcohol, as was my Filet Mignon and the mash potatoes tasted like everything but garlic. Its almost like the alcohol in the food is trying to hide the true flavor of the food. I expected more from Guy."

"This restaurant was not much better than TGI Fridays. The service was very slow - we could never find our waiter when we needed drink refills, etc. After a long wait, they only brought food to half of the table and then another 5 mins later the rest of the food came out. We were only 1 of 3 tables on the bottom floor so it is hard to understand the slow service or why our waiter "hid" in the kitchen. This restaurant could NOT accommodate ANY changes to the menu. The waiter always stated that "it is already made that way" which leads me to believe that most things are from a can or from the freezer - and it tasted that way."

"I went here for a pre-theater dinner with my wife and mother-in-law. If you're looking to please a group with a wider-appealing American menu, then Guy's will work just fine. We were seated in the dining area in the lower floor. The layout was impressive, with comfortably-sized tables, comfy chairs and tables that were lit not too bright, but not too dark. The overall vibe was bright and energetic. Our waiter was very friendly, attentive, and knew his way around the menu. The cocktail menu had variety, and the restaurant features some good craft brews from nearby Heartland Brewery. Lots of care and quality went into our meals."

"The appetizers (tacos and nachos) were the start and finish to a pleasant experience. We were seated under a cold air vent. The table was not level. The staff members were overly aggressive in removing plates without confirming that we were done eating. Nobody in our part had anything good to say about their respective entrees. Overall it was more disappointing than poor."

"Thought we'd try this Guy Fiery-owned restaurant based on the fact that it's owned by a "celebrity chef." The food we had makes me question whether or not Chef Fiery has ever eaten at this place. We started with a tuna sashimi taco appetizer which was great. From there it went downhill quickly (as far as the food is concerned). The egg rolls were greasy and the pretzel-coated chicken fingers were dry and overcooked. The atmosphere is fun, and the service was exceptional. The waitress asked what we thought of our meal, and once she heard our response she sent over the manager. He listened attentively, asked if we wanted anything else to replace what we had ordered, and then promptly removed the items from our bill. High praise for that!"

"Our group included 3 separate tables of ten and EVERYONE was pleased. That's hard to do with a large group. Ours was a pre-theatre lunch and the service was timely, but not rushed. Presentations were creative and delicious!!! Annual family trip where we try to do something different each year, but I'm in favor of coming right back next time!!"

"We had 7 p.m. theater tickets and were commuting in after work so we knew we wouldn't have a lot of time to eat dinner. I needed a restaurant close to the theater and this one fit the bill. I told some coworkers where we were going, and they recommended the nachos, and that we share an entree, as the portions are large - this turned out to be very good advice!
If you're looking for haute cuisine, this isn't it, but the food was tasty and plentiful. We shared an order of Italian nachos - a huge plate of red and yellow chips slathered with cheese, pepperoni, Italian turkey sausage, ground beef, tomatoes and chopped peppers. Also shared an entree of skewered veggies barbecued shrimp wrapped in bacon over rice pilaf. Oh,the cholesterol!"

"I thought the food could have been better-alittle surprised actually that it wasn't. One of our orders came out totally wrong and wasn't corrected. Nice atmosphere, able to handle large groups. Employees are abit clueless-didn't move to the side for customers just forged ahead-its all in the training and they need a refresher course. Our waitress was beyond nice but service wise nothing special.abit pricey for the food they serve."

"second time there, not as good as our first experience. They dropped sweet potato fries from the menu, although they were still on the menu--BIG disappointment for me. I had pretzel crusted chicken fingers again and although the chicken was moist, they were definitely over cooked. Had the fried ice cream for dessert--I love it but my husband's comment was "it's chewy", probably not how fried ice cream should be. Would probably go back since there aren't many great restaurants in Time Square, but have to think about it. Very expensive for what it is and the menu isn't varied enough. Sorry....gave it a good review the first time, not so much this time!"

"Very over priced!! The food was good but not worth the money! I tried the mac and cheese which was delicious but for $18 I expected it to be bigger then a child size dish. There was not 1 appetizer under $11. Overall, we enjoyed the food but it was nothing that amazing to make us go back and pay those prices again. I don't recomend this place."

"Not really worth the price. I started with the garlic fries which were excellent and the best part of the meal. I had the rotisserie chicken. I did not get the roasted garlic mash with my dinner and did not realize it until after. The chicken was good but not great. The service was very friendly but not very attentive. We waited about 10 minutes to get our drinks ordered and were waiting for refills for awhile."
