Levant Brooklyn
Levant is a quaint, authentic Middle Eastern restaurant in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. Our name is the Jordanian region from which owners' Zeid and Sera Aghabi hail.
Since opening our doors on May 6, 2012, we've served a variety of specialty dishes including 16 unique Manakeesh (a cross between pita and pizza), succulent mixed grills like Shish Kebob and Shish Taouk, and tasty Mezzeh (appetizers) like the much loved hummus and baba ghanouj. Levant also has many fusion items that have a Middle Eastern base but have been Brooklanized!
We invite you to sample our cuisine, taste our eclectic mix of spices and flavors in ever bite, enjoy our accessible backyard patio, and enjoy your culinary journey through the Middle East!

"The owners wait on you & are lovely. The tables are too big so that you can't hear the conversation on the other side even if there are only four of you! The chairs are so high that my feet were dangling. The menu page on the Internet said that shrimp was a specialty although there was no shrimp to be found, get the shrimp back in the menu & you'll get me back.."
