"I make it a point to dine at d.Vino every time I go to Vegas. This year was unfortunately disappointing. The seafood linguini tasted like watered down tomato sauce and every type of seafood from shellfish to salmon to shrimp tasted fishy. It was the only time I could not finish even half of my dish. Thankfully the wine and dessert were still excellent. So I am hoping the food was just a fluke."

"Very inflexible head chef when it came to substitutions. I requested a switch from risotto to pasta. Initial response was NO. After the second request, the chef finally agreed to the change, but would charge an additional $10 to the $18 plate of risotto and shrimp. Wine was expensive. The "by-the-ounce" wine (Cab) was poor quality."

"Had a nice romantic Valentines day dinner @ d.vino. Service was top notch and the food was excellent! They sliced the pepperoni & mozzarella for the wood fired pizza right there in the open kitchen. Fresh & delicious & not a long wait for your food. Reasonably priced, but the wines are a little on the high side. Would definitely recommend this little italian gem to a friend."

"The staff was almost rude when they called to semi confirm our reservations for 40. We made reservations on Friday for Wednesday night. They called Wednesday afternoon to say they may or may not be able to accommodate our group and said they would normally do a set menu for a group this large. They should have notified us earlier to accomplish this. The service was very slow. The back room they had us in was very outdated. Most of my group complained the next day how terrible the food, service and atmosphere was. I enjoyed my olives and the ravioli but not guests were not happy. Two orders were wrong. If they knew we had such a large group I would expect them to staff accordingly. It's not like a group of 40 just showed up."

"My wife and I split a delicous Caesar Salad and Spagetti Bolognese at d. Vino across from the Casino from the Blue Man Theatre at the Monte Carlo Hotel. Food, Service, Ambiance all were Excellent! Pricing was a little high, but splitting was more than enough food for the two of us. We went after the Blue Man Show, so about 8:45pm on Wednesday, 1/23/13, and there were only 3 or 4 other tables taken, so we were a little nervous.
The Caesar had a delicous dressing, wonderful kitchen-made croutons, and lots of lovely, thin-sliced parmesian. It was great! The Spagetti had a wonderful sauce, filled with goodies (veal, pork, mushrooms, green peppers, etc). It was just what we were looking for."

"This place is a hidden gem. The food is very good, service was excellent and the prices are reasonable! I don't know if Monte Carlo isn't as busy or just not this restaurant inside it, but we were surpised they weren't busier and wonder if people look in and think it isn't good. The only thing I didn't like were the wine prices -- they were quite high and out of line with the rest of the prices. When you can get a nice pasta dish for $20, the wine shouldn't be $14 a glass. We will come back the next time we're in town."

"Enjoyed eating at this restaurant. The Pei Mussels and Fried Calarmari were nicely prepared and delicious. We also enjoyed Striped Bass entrees and the Pinot Grigio. The chef did a good job with these. Everything is rated "very good" in our opinion. I think this is a nice restaurant to eat before going to see one of the Cirque du Soleil shows."
