"Unbelievably fresh seafood, beautifully prepared and presented. The menu always includes seasonal specials, Tempura soft-shell crabs are outstanding. Authentic Thai food without the trip to Thailand."

"We "discovered" Talay Thai shortly after it opened and have dined there numerous times since. The food, service and ambiance is among the best in the Palm Beaches. There's nothing more to say."

"Talay Thai has outstanding food and very competent service. The menu selections are varied and extensive, the specials were creative and seasonal and the server was knowledgable about the entire menu and specials.I would recomend to anyone who enjoys far east cuisine. There are several areas the restaurant could endeavor to improve. The reservation time requested was unavailable. It seemed strange since we were dining during that request time and the restaurant was at 40% capacity. The hostess had no sense for seating trying to fit one of our guests (a very elderly lady) in a bistro seat. From our seats the storage area and kitchen staff on break were fully visable. Finally, there was not any manager or owner visiting tables."

"This restaurant typically gets very high ratings on Open Table or TripAdvisor. However, if you are looking for good Thai food, there are other great Thai restaurants with a larger menu and cheaper prices. Expect to pay $30 for an entree. A bit much for a Thai restaurant. The food is good, but not stellar. Next time I want Thai, I will go to a cheaper place with more menu variety and I'm sure that I'll be just as happy with the food."

"Talay Thai rocks -- great ingredients, beautifully presented, and every bit as good as the best Thai meccas in New York (Sripraphai in Queens) or any Bangkok spot. Charlie's just got it all down -- impeccably sourced ingredients, luscious sauces and mouthwatering preparations. If I lived down here, I'd be here once a week if not more. Wow, it's invaded my dreams."

"This restaurant has good food, but it is far away from being original Thai, the green curry was extremely diluted, lemon grass was not really used for my Tom Ga Kay and there was little or no ginger in it. The Path Tai was very good and closer to the real thing.
This restaurant has included dishes which are not Thai and it should either explain or change its name."

"I was impressed, as soon as I walked in, with the simple elegance of this restaurant. I also immediately notice that all the staff were impeccably dressed and groomed. Our waiter was extremely polite, and very helpful.
The food was not only cooked to perfection but also was presented very well. When my food was placed on the table, it looked as if it came out of a picture from a gourmet food magazine.
I would definitely visit this restaurant again and recommend it to a friend."

"Good fresh fish, well trained staff . Always a terrific meal. Appetizers are good, dumplings, calmer, spring rolls to mention a few. They make food as spicy as the customer wants. Very accommodating"

"Overall the experince was good; salad appetizer is not a be back and the early arrival of the entree was not welcomed. But was readily brought back to the kitchen without complaint or pause. Good flavors and nice presentation."

"A good Thai-American restaurant in the popular PGA area. Service was a little haphazard and slightly amateurish, but otherwise a well run operation with an attractive ambience."

"We've eaten there many times, but this was the first time the service was just fair. Food is very good, excellent presentation and usually prompt service. The waiter was all over the restaurant and never checked on us."

"My husband was a bit hesitant on trying a Thai restaurant, but was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was and the wait staff was very knowledgeable. We went with another couple that suggested we go and try it. We were very pleased we did and will return!"

"We have dined here quite a few times and always have a nice meal, but this time we ordered different entrees and loved it even more. The whole fried yellowtail snapper over vegetables and the short ribs with panang curry were succulent and spectacular. Next time you go, order something you have never tried. The atmosphere is lovely and our service was wonderful. Can't wait to go back."

"We go here every week, usually for the craving for the same thing ! I order the shrimp Pad Thai and its the best and lightest I've ever tasted . My husband orders chicken Panang in curry sauce...very spicy and delicious. We can choose the degree of spice we think we could handle on a scale of 1-5. We start with the steamed dumplings which are so light and tasty. The food is always consistently prepared so our expectations are not disappointed. The wait staff has been there for a very long time which speaks well to how they are respected by Chef Charlie and Mama Soo! They are very friendly and attentive, and know what is expected of them...well trained. Reservations are honored and we are greeted like valued customers, with good reason!"
