Nic's restaurant is the best kept secret in Beverly Hills. It's where celebs mingle quietly with the local crowd, it's the cheers bar with a martini attitude. Nic's presents the VODBOX, a private freezer showcasing one of a kind vodkas and serving assorted caviars to accompany. Guests don fake fur jackets while inside the VODBOX sipping their libations. "I've been to Nic's in the past but only for martini's and music, and every time have had an amazing time. The music is great, the crowd is relatable, and the drinks are endless. However, this was the first time that I had actually gone for dinner and I was more than pleasantly surprised. The food was phenomenal. I went on a Monday, and apparently every Monday they have a dinner special for $28 per person that includes a delicious salad, a huge entree, and the most wonderful dessert. This place is an A+ all the way around!"

"The vod box is a little gimmicky but fun. The martini list is longer than the wine list, but both are excellent. The scene is hopping. But the real attraction for us was the food. Best gnocchi we've ever had, and the lavender infused crispy duck is not to be missed. The staff was exceptionally friendly and unpretentious. Beverly Hills is a shlep for us, but we'll be back!"

"Much better than my last experience. Was whisked right into the Vodbox - what a great activity. The perfect start to a fun evening out. Oysters are prepared so perfectly with spinach. The bands are fun and the crowd is really having a great evening. This is a place for cocktails - my favorite aspect is the front door - maybe the owner's son - greeting everyone as if it is his own living room (and in a way, it is). I feel like I am in a hip club from the '50s in the desert and that I am as important as Sinatra. Very fun."

"Very enjoable evening. We had one of the booths along the wall in the restaurant area, which was about 20 feet or so from the hopping bar action on a Friday night. Good food, great service, and a stunning martini list."

"The cuisine was fabulous and the entertainment was a pleasant addition to our meal. There's always an eclectic crowd at Nic's and the bar scene is happening. Also, it's nice that Nic's gives you the option to bring your own wine with a $20 corking fee. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Beverly Hills area."

"Things didn't really work out here tonight. Really hoped to visit the Vodbox. Asked for the booking in advance. Sat down. Ridiculously loud and crowded. People from the bar practically falling into our table. Not comfortable. Asked for update on Vodbox request - it will be 30 minutes to wait. Despite the advanced request. Elected to go elsewhere (have enjoyed the food here before). Valet charged me $7. I had been there a total of 5 minutes. Not nice."

"Very accommodating in adding one more to a reservation of 3; even more accommodating when 2 of 4 didn't show up; service was on top of it; food was great; got the filet with blueberry sauce; friend got the duck; raw oyster appetizer was fantastic; music and live bank/singer were great; a little loud; but overall fun and a great place to take a date...even if it's a little loud!"

"This was my first visit and it was a great experience. Yes, it get loud when it gets full but that's expected. Food was tasty and served quickly. Server made perfect suggestions on which martini and vodkas to order. The huge selection can be a bit overwhelming. The only problem, you'll want to try ever drink on the menu - multiple visits are going to be needed!"
