"Upscale Indian cuisine..Indigma..this one is really up there...!"
Baltimore Sun
"Service was poor. Not engaging and a little rude. The first appetizer we ordered, they were out of. No big deal right? But then, we ordered a common dessert and they were out of that as well. My husbands dish was very good, he got the Scallop Vindaloo (only get if you like spicy food). I got the Chicken Tikka Masala, the sauce was good, but the chicken was totally overcooked and dry. If you want to try this place, I would recommend take out."

"The food was absolutely delicious. Our drinks and service on the other hand were terrible. This is one of those places I would not return to, specifically due to the issues we had with service. Our waiter was neither helpful nor attentive. But again, the food was absolutely amazing."

"This is not your average Indian or even Indian-fusian restaurant. They modernize what can use a little refreshing, including having a prix fixe menu option. We also had a bottle of Indian red wine, which was really complex and went great with our Lamb Saag and Navrathan Korma. The Rasmalai Royale (sweetened indian cheese / vanilla ice cream) was really a special treat, but the Gulab Jamun were a bit dense and dry."

"Food was hit or miss. Chicken Vindaloo was great, as was the Chicken Saag. Rajma was OK, but the yellow dahl was off. Gluab jamun were just not worth it; dry and not sweet. Thali were just logistically awkward to eat (too little space and not enough rice)! The server that helped us (older, tall/thin, Caribbean (?) gentleman with glasses), though efficient, was terse, unfriendly, and a bit - austere for our taste. We were attended to at his pace, with little clear effort to make us feel welcome to ask for what we wanted. Service was offset, at least, by the two people who we presumed to be the owners (one man, one woman) that came to each table and checked in with us in a very friendly, concerned, and attentive manner. Not rushing back ..."

"whenever we are in that area we go to Indigma. We like the kabobs specially. This time we ventured to order fish, but was not happy. We ordered kabobs for the appetizer, but the fish entree was not that good. For dessert, Kulfi was so so as was the rasamalai on icecream. I would serve regular rasamalai instead of on ice cream."

"This was the first time we dined at Indigma. The restaurant has a pleasing decor with bright colors in a townhouse setting. We enjoyed a creative starter of avaoado pakoras which were tasty and interesting. Our main courses consisted of almond chicken and chicken tikka masala, both of which were satisfactory. Service was not very attentive and not particularly friendly. The meal was served as though the server was just making a quick drop-off of an dish or glass anywhere at the table, rather than placing it in a proper place in front of a guest. Aside from this, we found Indigma to be satisfactory, but we will probably choose another Indian restaurant before returning here."

"Kitchen was overwhelmed and it took over an hour to get food. Waiter forgot things multiple times and offered bread to us at first, then took back the offer later and told us we'd be charged for it. He could not tell us which food was spicy and which was not, and if we asked it to not be spicy or for it to be spicier, he refused. I ended up not being able to eat my food because it was too spicy, and had to trade with someone else at the table whose food wasn't spicy enough."

"Indigma, was single worst dinning experience of my life! seating promptly but it went down We waiting for 90 minutes for our two entrees . We were first told that the kitchen was behind. Then we were told that the kitchen lost our ticket that was why we were not getting our food as others around us all ordering after us received not only appetizers but entrees. Our waiter when informing us of the kitchen issues seemed more concerned about how the kitchen issues affects his tips, not so much concern for us sitting waiting with NO food for 90 minutes. And in the 90 minute wait he didn't fill our water glasses. The food was rushed so was awful!!! Management did nothing to compensate, nothing off the bill, no comped dessert. Never again!"

"The service was terrible. We waited an hour for water and appetizers and drinks. Then another 45 min for main course, which we had ordered with the appetizers. The food was OK. It used to be better. Would not go back."

"Dined before seeing a play at Center Stage, as we do about once during each theater season. The highlight was the garlic-jalopena naan, which we had never seen before and found delicous both initially and as part of her "doggy bag" the next day. When her crab soup proved disappointingly bland, the very attentive waiter quickly took it back to the kitchen to be perked up with some slivered peppers, which improved it dramatically. I was disappointed that the Indo-Chinese Szechuan Lamb dish, intriguingly described as containing "thin slices of beef" was unavailable, but enjoyed the Rogan Gosh entree. The mango-flavored Indian-style ice cream was a delicious end to our meal."

"Liked the garlic-jalopena naan, which we haven't seen anywhere else. The waiter responded to my girlfriend's lack of enthusiasm for her crab soup by taking it back to the kitchen to be spiced up with thinly-sliced peppers. I was disappointed that the Szechuan Lamb -- decribed on the menu as "Slices of beef..." -- was unavailable, but found the Rogan Josh delicious. All in all, we were very happy with Indigma."

"SEcond time to Indigma and it didn't disappoint again. The care the staff takes with you is second to none, and the food is even better. The Pris Fix menu makes it easy and affordable to sample a variety of great food choices. Very close to Center Stage and they took care of us rapidly to make sure we made it to our show."

"First time eating here and food was excellent. We had the Malai Kofta and Saag Paneer and the garlic and jalapeno naan and puri. We would definetly get the Saag Paneer and naan again, but the puri was greasy. Portion sizes are small for the price (entree size versus family style size like we're used to). They artfully present a very small side of rice, which was a tad dry and crunchy even when topped with sauces. Seems odd to skimp on the cheapest item on the menu. Service was prompt and attentive."

"The food was OK. One red wine was served chilled due to storage and had to be sent back. Some members of the party were disappointed with their dishes. Others were satisfied. The price was much higher than the value of the meal and service. Overall a disappointment."

"My fiance and I went to Indigma for the first time, and couldn't believe we hadn't been there sooner. I had the chicken cheera, he had the chicken tikka masala and we shared an order of the garlic naan. I am by no means a connoisseur of Indian food, but everything tasted excellent! Also the dining room is beautiful-chandeliers and a fireplace--a very nice date spot. Also we thought it was nice that the owner came around to talk to all diners and ensure they were having a good experience. We will definitely visit again."

"I'v had the lunch buffet a few times but this was my first dinner. The menu was great , the food and drink options were excellent as well. The food was excellent and we eat Indian food in NY at least 1x per week. The thali was a great choice, and the dal makhani was the best I've ever had. The vindaloo was a deep red, wasn't a spicey as I am used to, but the heat had a delayed effect and was very nice. All the items in the thali were excellent though the spinach, which I think was palak paneer was a little bland. Loved everything about Indigma except for the service. It seemed there was one waiter covering a large number of tables so it took a while to get our order and even a longer time to get the check. Waiter was excellent."

"My boyfriend and I went here on Valentines Day because we love their food. Unfortunately, they had an entirely different menu that consisted of three courses and none of their regular food. We asked for the regular menu but they said no. There had been nothing on their website about a different menu for v-day. The food on this "special menu" wasn't Indian food and frankly, wasn't good. We love their regular food and were so disappointed. We saw several people leave after being told they couldn't order from the regular menu, and after our meal, we regretted not doing the same thing."

"Food was BAD . Veg kabab said Paneer but not 1 piece was found I got 3 brokoli 1 huge cut in half onion 1 suspicious looking green leaf. I am Indian so I know what to expect when I see the menu I waited 45 mins to get order and drink . 2 servers on 8-10 table It was Valentin eve so for pricy and prefix menu they took another 45 min Many of the menu was unavailable . I was there at 8 so it is not as if they ran out of stuff at 11 Inspite of that they were allowing folks . Dessert was missed the poor tired waiter was too tired to apologize Over all bad... Place interior is good However the site is deceiving . I will never go back it is boaring place As if sitting in a banquet hall with strengers TOTAL RIP OFF"

"The prefix menu was not great at all.. The restaurant regular menu has alot more options. The service was horrible.. It took the waiter over 20 mins to get to us to give us water. And them he rushed us into what we wanted to orders. The drinks came late as well as food. But the bill was brought really fast ( I wonder why :) )"

"I am very fond of Indian food and cook a great deal of it at home. But one of my 'treats' when traveling is to seek out Indian restaurants .. which I did on a recent visit to Baltimore. The food at "Indigma" was excellent; the service was efficient but not imposing. The sitar player added a quiet ambiance. If you like Indian food and find yourself in Baltimore, try Indigma!"

"This was our first time at Indigma. There are several other Indian restaurants in Baltimore that we really like and would choose over this one. Indigma has a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere, the staff are very friendly, and the bar makes a decent martini, but that's not enough to warrant a return trip."

"This place was very disappointing. The food was of low quality -- you can get better Indian food in the prepared foods section at Wholefoods. The ingredients weren't fresh and the flavors were uninteresting. The service was comical -- there were four waiters for this fairly small restaurant in addition to the maitre d' and a bartender, but everything took them a long time and multiple attempts (eg delivering the right food to the right table, delivering drinks orders). We waited 15 minutes for somebody to pick up our credit card and gave up and ended up walking it over to the bar since we were dutifully being ignored. Lastly - Indigma is way over-priced. We paid $100 for two people for a very substandard Indian meal :( ."

"I usually avoid lunch buffets, but Indigma's is an exception. There is a wide selection of flavorful dishes; the wine selection is not extensive, but well chosen and reasonably priced; the service is comparable to that for a la cart service at a far more expensive restaurant; and the ambiance is calm and comfortable. The evening a la cart dishes definitely warrant an "excellent" rating because the intensely flavored spices are well balanced rather than one dominating the dish."
