"We had an amazing time downtown, we stayed at 21c hotel and ate at Ruth Chris. We live in liberty twp so it's nice to come downtown for the evening for a romantic getaway from the kids. Our waiter David was awesome!! He gets 5 stars from us."

"First time at a Ruth Chris-steaks were very good, as was the mini cheesecake for dessert. They really need to work on their side dishes and salads. The so called greek salad was a boring mix of romaine, feta and some olives and cherry tomatoes-dressing had no discernible flavor. Green bean casserole had undercooked green beans and a not good mash up of mushroom soup and onion crisps-couldn't get anyone to eat it, it looked that unappetizing. $9.00 for Au gratin potatoes that were so-so, not much flavor. It was Mothers Day, but that shouldn't be an excuse. Disappointed.... and expensive for the results."

"They were great! I had never been to Cincinnati before so finding the restaurant and parking were confusing at first but as soon as I called them they took 20 minutes to help me find the place and where to park! Great customer service! Food was absolutely incredible and the waiters and hostess was absolutely great! Will definitely recommend and I also plan on going back there very soon!"

"Only thing I was disappointed about was that when they bagged up my filet, they didn't include what was left of the lump crab that was also on the plate. It would have been nice to have that as well, since I paid for it. Otherwise, it was good, just like all of the other locations I have been too. I was suprised how casual people were dressed especially when the hostess told me ahead of time that it was business casual and people were there in jeans and t shirts."

"Parking is horrible here, especially on Reds nights. Valet is $20 on a game night. Ridiculous given dinner for 2 is well over $150. If we were in dowtown proper, valet would not cost as much. The city does not allow Banks restaurants to operate independent valet service."

"We eat out a lot and had the best service we've ever experienced at Ruth's. It was our anniversary, and everyone from the person filling the water to the server to the manager wished us a happy one. The service was attentive without being intrusive, always a hard level to hit. My partner noticed that the server would wait a distance away until a lull in our conversation to ask us if we needed anything. When my partner put his jacket on (we were under an A/C vent), the server came up and tole him he'd see about adjusting the A/C down! The food was perfect, but what really set them apart was the service."

"The Reds baseball game went to extra innings and so let out later than expected. Therefore a more energetic crowd in and around the bar area than we had anticipated. Steak was done perfectly, lyonaisse potato good, but mushrooms side was very bland. Explosion cheesecake desert was excellent. Overall good, and we will try again during the summer (having double-checked the Reds game calendar!)"

"We were dressed for dinner, and were seated near a hallway where we could see the dish machine. My daughter's steak was not medium per her request, but we had to flag a server down as our server never inquired if everything was to our satisfaction after the food arrived. I had to ask the server to remove the menus from the table after they had been lying there for some time. My daughter ordered the lobster appetizers which were really fried dough balls with very little lobster. We were disappointed and won't return any time soon."

"The only comment I have is that the steak that I ordered was not cooked as requested. I ordered a medium-well rib-eye and when it arrived it was rare. The other item is that the coffee that was served was good, but it was luke-warm since it had sat in its container too long.
Since this was a special occasion they provided desert on the house and the server was quite knowledgable about the food offerings."

"We dined here March 9. The food was very good - crab-stuffed mushrooms, salad, filets and fries, along with a chocoate dessert that was their special of the day. The disappointment was the service. We were seated for several minutes before our server greeted us and it was obvious she was rushed at that point and throughout the evening. It took awhile to get drinks after we ordered. The appetizer came in a timely manner but we finally had to flag down someone to have our plates cleared after no one returned to our table. These are a couple examples of the service challenges we experienced. For the money, other Cincinnati steakhouses offer very good food and the higher level of service I expect for this type of meal."

"Very disappointed with both the service and the food. For a steakhouse with prices at the high end I expected much more.
The waiter seemed rushed and took no time to be engaging and when he brought out our food and warned us to be careful because the plates were 500 degrees, he really wasn't kidding.
I have never tried to put a piece of steak into my mouth which was so hot I had to leave it to cool down, as it continued to cook on my plate!

"Went early and had a couple of drinks and some happy hour items in the bar, which were amazing!! The spicy lobster was delicious and my blueberry mojito was delightful. You would never think such a good happy would exist in a restaurant of this caliber! We then sat down for dinner, and it was outstanding! Service was great as well...we will be back!"

"My Wife and I came in to celebrate her birthday. I did no expect anything too special, but when we were seated, our table was decorated with confetti and a card, and to top it off, a complimentary dessert was brought out that said "Happy Birthday Kelly." We were blown away. Oh yea, the food melted in our mouths, best steaks we've had in a very long time. Very happy Ruth's Chris came to Cincinnati...can't wait to go back!"

"Sunday early evening, not crowded. Sat at bar for seven minutes waiting for service. We had reservations and were seated at a table next to the kitchen enterance. Asked to be moved. Moved right across the walkway. Had to remind server of drink order more than once. Had to ask for refills of sodas and teas. Booth table was small and seats uncomfortable."

"Wonderful overall experience! Service from Maria was beyond expectations...she was always there when we need her, but not too overbearing. My Filet melted in my mouth. I added the blue cheese crust, and with the butter, I challenge anyone to find a better steak. We cannot wait to go back again!"

"We had a great meal at a table by the window looking out on The Banks area of Cincinnati. Thought the ambiance of the dining room was lacking, although the downstairs bar area is inviting and has a warm, good feel to it. The big windows upstairs are nice but the rest of the dining room just seemed to lack atmosphere."

"The food was good. Our reservations were for 8:45 and by 8:55 our table was not ready so we were seated by the main entrance. It was chilly because everytime the door opened we were met with a draft. The hostess sat a space heater near us which in my opinion was very "classy." The food was very good although I had to send my steak back once."
