The Shelburne Restaurant & Pub is a place you want to linger. Casual, elegant dining celebrates the bounty of one of the richest culinary regions of the Pacific Northwest. Our artisan breads and desserts are all made by hand in the Inn's own bakery. Emphasis is placed on wines and micro-brewed beers of the region. In 2012 our wine list was the recipient of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. Breakfast is a daily event with multiple creative entrees to choose from. Next door, the Pub is English in style, while pub grub and decor offer a distinctly American twist. The elegant dining room and stained glass Inglenook with its overstuffed chairs are the perfect place for a couple desiring a romantic setting or a group out to enjoy each others company. Live music is a weekly feature on our grand piano. Special events are often planned, including wine dinners, tasting events and afternoon teas. The Shelburne is not just for special occasions, but to make any occasion special!
"We had a quite dinner for our 51st anniversary. The food was wonderful and filling. The service was extraordinary. We will return again. The burgers at the Pub...looked large and marvelous, need to try them next time."

"Mussel/Clam dish was horrible and inedible. I cannot believe this restaurant and it's chef would serve something that tasted so bad. Server was good as was the pianist."

"We stayed a couple of nights at the Shelburne and thought we'd eat one dinner there. The food was so wonderful we ended up eating the second dinner there as well.
The menu was diverse and we were tempted by many dishes. We especially enjoyed the fresh chinook salmon --- gently cooked with the center slightly rare. It was served with a compound butter, rice pilaf (with sun dried tomatoes, yum!), and stirred fry vegetables. Service was attentive and not rushed.
The Shelburne is well furnished with interesting art work throughout so we dined in the bar the second evening but ordered from the regular menu. Again, everything was excellent.
Oh, the chocolate dessert is heavenly! Be sure to try it!!!"

"The restaurant was casually elegant, love the stained glass windows. The chef: friendly, chatty, knowledgeable, uses seasonally fresh ingredients (garden out back) uses spices I would never put together. Recommended the fish dinner special and described it to a "tee", light yet very flavorful. Superb flan for dessert. Would recommend and return without the blink of an eye. Bon Appetit!"

"If you are looking for a large menu, Shelburne is not for you. However, if you are looking for personality from the owner and main server at dinner, stopping here will be a treat. They have a new chef for dinner and it showed. My steak was a little over done (I had asked for medium rare and I got medium well) and there was very little seasoning on it. My wife's had the lamb shank and it was ok. It was not as tender as one would hope and it had a bitter taste to it. Dessert, however, was delicious. Breakfast was delicious but the staff needs training. The server did not know which order went to which table and got just about every order incorrect. If you want quick service, get there at opening."

"The Shelburne Inn is true gem. Located at the end of the known world in Seaview, WA, this is an exceptional getaway that offers clean, cozy, well-appointed rooms, a friendly staff, and a restaurant filled with delicious tastes. The accompanying morning breakfast is remarkable, and we found our dinners to be varied and thoroughly delicious. They even have a little pub connected to the inn that offers an inviting respite from the often chilly and drizzling weather."
