"A friend and I were walking around the Short North looking for somewhere new to eat. We found ourselves in front of Two Fish, We saw the Open Table award, quickly made a reservation on Open Table and got seated right away. Our server was terrific, he was very attentive to our needs, checked in on us frequently even after he became more busy than when we arrived. The food was very good and a good value for the money. Even though we didn't order any this visit I love having the option to order sushi or hot food at the same restaurant because of Red Bar being next door. Having so many options is great. I will definitely go back!"

"The tilapia was very good, the restaurant was fairly empty because we came early. The waitress was pleasant , knowledgeable about the menu, and did a fine job. There seemed to be a loud beat from a speaker above our heads from some of the music which we found distracting. Neither my friend nor I are drinkers so didn't pay attention to the wine list or the bar. I think the menu items would be better if, for example, a fish or chicken dinner came with rice AND vegetable, instead of having to order the veggie ala carte. When I called in for our reservation, I asked about nearby handicapped parking; they suggested valet when there are 3 spots directly across the street...atmosphere very nice, Asian contemporary."

"Dinner was good, but I think the kitchen and staff weren't running at 100%. Our server seemed to be 2 steps behind in everything. Two dishes delivered weren't as described on the menu, so the kitchen corrected them. Once everything was corrected, everybody really enjoyed their dinners. Still one of our favorite restaurants in the Short North!"

"We always enjoy Two Fish. In addition to eating here throughout the year, it has become our Good Friday dining spot since the family doesn't eat meat on Fridays in Lent. We love the fish tacos, and our favorite dinner entrees include the Mahi Mahi over spicy potatoes and the seafood pasta."

"Great Food!- We had the Crusted Tunna, and the Split Salmon. Bother were terrific!! Our waiter was Sam- very polite, great and knowledgeable- and cute! The ambience is great-modern, chic, very cool. Price for drinks are a little high, if you don't go during happy hour, but the drinks take wonderfully- worth it. We went on a Friday night around 8pm, and it wasn't bussy. Highly recommended for seafood lovers!"

"This was our second visit, and we brought friends this time. The food was very good but our seats were very disappointing. If we return ( which I am sure we will) I will be far more vocal with where we are seated. I thought we were right outside the kitchen door and a part of the set-up area. Disappointing when there were so many other tables available."

"I was very dissapointed with my dininng experience. Our food took an hour to come and when it did it was lukewarm and overcooked. During the hour we waited our server Sam never came back to check on us to refill drinks, we had to go to the bar for more! We didn't send our food back because we were starving and didn't want to have to wait longer to eat. This was dissapointing to me because I don't live close and I'm used to dining in the Polaris or Easton area, but since I've exhausted my possibilities there I was trying to branch out a bit. I am not sure if Id give it another try... I definitely do not recommend Two Fish Bistro"

"Parking was a nightmare. Valet parking would help! It took nearly an hour to receive 2 entrees. Our waiter said the kitchen had gotten slammed because they were very crowded, however the restaurant did not seem all that crowded to me...on a Saturday evening there was no wait at the door and quite a few empty tables."

"We went to Two Fish last Monday night and had a great experience, so we decided to return on Wednesday. This time we were disappointed mainly because the restaurant could not keep up with the business they had that evening. Ou server, Sam, was awesome, but he had to keep apologizing for problems. They ran out of items on the menu, and it was only 7 pm. We waited over an hour for our entrees. The food was very good, but by the time it arrived, we were famished. This was definitely a management and kitchen problem that should not have happened."

"Entrees were pretty good, but the sushi is very bland, didn't have much fish in it (mostly rice and veggies) and took a half hour to come out, only a few minutes before the main course. Also, it shouldn't take that long for the entrees to come out. And they were out of shrimp and scallops. A seafood place shouldn't run out of things like that, especially not on a slow Wednesday night. But our waiter was very attentive. Would go back, but not for the sushi, even though it was at half price"

"When I first heard of this restaurant I wanted to try it. It was just my luck that there was a living social coupon available. I must say I was very pleased with food and service. I handed the coupon in right away and expected to get poor service but that was not the case. My waiter was very attentive and upbeat. The food was delish! I had the split salmon for dinner, and shrimp and grits as an appetizer. Both lovely! I could definitely see myself going back and trying the lovely cuisines without a handy coupon."

"The problems with Two-Fish started before our arrival with parking. They advertise valet parking at their sister restaurant on the opentable website, but then when you get there, there is no valet parking. In the short north on a weekend, this makes things very difficult! The service was poor, with lack of attention, extremely slow in food preparation (over an hour for two meals in a nearly empty restauant is a bit much), and a complete lack of interest to accomodate special requests (refused to make a dish mild because that's not how it's supposed to be eaten, and didn't substitute sides despite requests). The quality of the food was mixed, with the salmon being outstanding but the tune was extremely dry. Wouldn't return or recommend."

"Our server was very attentive and always made sure we had full water, wine, you name it. The food was awesome. This was my first time there and I will definitely be back. The tuna and mahi-mahi were very fresh and the portions were perfect!"
