"Located on Page Road, off I-40, about halfway between Raleigh and Durham.
Ample parking.
The building is not very prepossessing - it looks like a recycled DMV office. The interior is nice, though Spartan.
Service a little slow - it took about 15 minutes before our waiter took our order, though we were out in about an hour.
We split the Fried Green Tomatoes - breaded, served with feta cheese and orange marmalade with a vinaigrette dressing.
I had the creole shrimp, and my companion had shrimp with risotto. The creole was very spicy - I enjoyed it but it may be too intense for some - with Andouille sausage bits, sweet corn, tomatoes, and rice. The risotto was milder and very tasty.
No doubt we'll be back"

"Went here to celebrate my daughter's graduation from UNC. Atmosphere was energetic but not overpowering. Ribeye was cooked to perfection with the red wine butter giving an extra umph of flavor. Shrimp Creole had a nice but subtle kick of spicyness. Sweet Potato Gnocchi and Penne with Basil-Pecan Pesto also very tasty. Very enjoyable evening. We'll be back."

"PRG is a very nice restaurant with a hip vibe. The food is excellent, with a menu that is varied enough to suit just about any taste. Presentation of the food is quite good, making the dining experience all the more pleasant. This restaurant is a nice addition to the neighborhood, with their sister restaurant, Mez, right next door. Altogether, a very nice dining experience!"

"The food we ordered, shrimp and grits, was good and while called a small portion, was more than adequate. However, no bread was served with the meal. The server indicated the restaurant was considering offering bread and had not gotten to that stage. Service was slow even though at 8 pm on. Saturday night, it was not terribly crowded. The reservation was made using Open Table and we only waited about 5 minutes for the table to be ready. Over all, a little disappointing, given all the restaurants in the triangle area."

"We were visiting the RTP area and selected the Page Road Grill based on the Open Table reviews. The ambience is pleasant, modern and comfortable. Coincidentally, our server was Sam who was mentioned in an earlier review. Sam is knowledgable about the menu and the craft beers available . He was able to make suggestions based on some of our food restrictions. The kitchen was able to accommodate our requests.
All of the food was delicious and the service was prompt and helpful.
We enjoyed the meal and look forward to returning the next time we're in the area."

"The whole interior has a nice vibe and the bar is nice. From appetizers to full meals, the food, plating and service are great. I've been there for lunch, and they need a lot more parking (so if you plan on a group, car pool). After work apps and drinks are great—either in the bar or they'll seat you in a booth. The outside dining is nice, with large tables under cover, and a landscaped area that is a buffer between the patio and the stores next door. Definitely recommend."

"Three weeks ago, a friend brought us to PGR. We enjoyed the Crab cakes and Simply fish. The food was excellent. We knew where we would go to celebrate our 17th Wedding Anniversary. We made reservations online for 5:00 PM. We were seated in a booth, and greeted by our server, Sam. He is a kind, young man with a wonderful curiosity and knowledge of food. Jennifer ordered a small(quite large)quinoa/vegetable salad, along with the Shrimp and grits. I ordered a small spinach salad, along with the Shrimp creole. All of the food was, once again, excellent. (Note: The shrimp was served, tails off. I wish that all restaurants did this.) PGR is a definite gem."

"We decided to try Page road grill for dinner. We made a reservation for a Friday night at 7 and it was not needed. Plenty of open tables. Food was very good for a vegetarian! I really enjoyed the hummus and the seasonal grain salad was amazing! The veggie burger was also tasty ( a quinoa mixture not the usual soy patty). The other meat eaters in the group had various burgers and fries and they enjoyed theirs as well. Service was average and food came out at a good pace. Will definitely be back to try other options from the menu."

"This was our 3rd time at this restaurant as we really enjoy the food. However, each time we have dined here, we have been disappointed in the service provided by hostesses and waitstaff. On our 2nd visit, we had to wait several minutes at the hostess stand while she stood 2 feet away washing the front windows. We didn't understand why she couldn't pause for a moment to seat us. But this 3rd visit was by far the worst in terms of service. I am not a needy customer by any stretch but our water glasses were never refilled, plates were never cleared, and we had to stop other waitstaff and ask them to send our waitress so that we could order another drink, dessert, etc. The fact that we may return here is a testament to the good food only."

"Our reservation was for 12:00. We didn't get seated until 12:15 and that was only after I again went to check on when they thought our table would be ready.
We were then placed in a 6-person booth, which was fine except for one major issue. The Page Road Grill has a glass roof in the center of the restaurant. At approximately 12:15, the sun glares down through this glass roof onto one side of the booth that we were sitting in. Two of the three people sitting on that side ate lunch while wearing sunglasses. I was the third person on that side and I would have worn them as well if I had brought them with me."

"On our granddaughter's recommendation (she lives in the area and has been there before), we had a fine dinner with her and a friend of ours. Staff was very accommodating to our different arrival times. We munched on appetizers until all were present. We then had a great dinner. Our server Amber was good to recommend items and knew the menu well."

"Food was better than average at lunch, but the service needs some refinement. Because the restaurant is open concept, it is LOUD and servers have a hard time hearing your order; conversation across the table was difficult as well. Our glasses went empty for far too long, our plates were cleared while still chewing the last bite, and the check was brought too quickly -- almost rushed. I would try again due to the food, but hopefully by the 2nd time the kinks in the service will be alleviated and the novelty at lunch will have diminished."

"Sweet potato gnocchi was excellent - great flavor, cooked perfectly - not heavy or like lumps of glue!
The burgers are like homemade - great flavor, perfectly cooked, delicious bun. The Beer Lover Burger does not have any real beer flavor - but tastes great.
Plenty of good kid choices on the kids menu.
Lunch is quick and efficient - they get you in and out just like they do at MEZ next door.
The bar has ton's of beer and the cocktail list has some interesting twists on classic drinks - we'll be back to try more.
The down east hummus was another surprise - it's made from peanuts but has no peanut taste - I expected a savory peanut butter kind of flavor but it's almost indistinguishable from traditional hummus."

"Went there for lunch with colleagues. They were very forthcoming in adding an extra seat as our party size had increased. The food was good and healthy and the service was prompt and organized. Overall great experience. I would recommend anyone working in the triangle to go eat there sometime."

"The food at Page Road was very tasty. I was there on a Thursday for lunch with a friend. The restaurant was packed. We had a reservation, and we were seated immediately. Our food came pretty quickly, but our server seemed to be rushing us through lunch...even though I don't think we stayed any longer than a typical lunch."

"I've been here on two separate occasions. Once with a group of co-workers and another with just my wife and I. The dessert was very delicious. However, there wasn't any consistency in the Po'Boy I had. I order the same thing the previous visit and it was pretty good, but oily. This time is seemed overly oily and soggy."

"We arrived and was seated promptly which was very nice. Our waitress lacked training. We asked her about wine recommendations and she couldn't give us one and then went on to say how she was a beer drinker and only liked white zin. Then we found out that they ran out of hamburgers. Not good planning for a restaurant which 3 out of 7 sandwiches was hamburgers. Once we were finished with our meal, the waitress proceeded to merge the plate scraps into one plate right at our table. Being a former waitress, that's a real no-no....
My suggestion to the restaurant is to give proper training to the staff if that want this restaurant to succeed. The food is great (even if they ran out of hamburgers."

"We really enjoyed our recent Friday evening dinner at the Paige Rd Grill. The restaurant wasn't full and the brick divider between the bar and the restaurant kept the noise level to a level that allowed one to have a conversation--a welcome change from most restaurants these days. I had the espresso crusted pork tenderloins with mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. it was excellent. I think you could have cut the tenderloins with a fork. My husband had the fish, which happened to be mahi mahi and he really enjoyed that as well. We definitely will return to this restaurant."
