"We ate at the Maryland Live Prime Rib expecting it to be very similar to the downtown Baltimore Prime Rib which is my all time favorite restaurant. We were wrong on all accounts. The climate was very cold and they could not change the temperature. The Greenberg potato skins were ok - not like the ones at the Baltimore restaurant tho. One of the servers told us they were served with dishes of sour cream and mayonnaise - instead of a hot mustard sauce. I commented on the description of the sauces and triggered the "memory" of the server. The prime rib was ok - again not like it is served in Baltimore. It was very pricey - $320 for 3 people and only one glass of wine served. And we did not get the large size of prime rib. Very disappointing."

"I made reservations for the night before my boyfriend and I were expecting our baby girl/boyfriends birthday. From the hostess to our waiter, I have to say we were not only impressed with the "fine dining" experience that we rarely treat ourselves to but we were also very comfortable thanks to the personalities of the staff. We were seated almost immediately and food service was speedy and tasty! Even for the expensive price, it was the perfect night we needed!"

"Had to go with the prime rib. It was excellent! The baked potato was small, and not well cooked. Very disappointing. Expecting a nice size potato to share. Buzz's salad was very good. The wine list is wonderful. Jonathan took great care of us. Overall, a very nice evening!"

"Didn't remember who the server was because different people helped us but we had to flag them down. Also the I have had oyster rockerfeller different places but these were tasteless & no cheese. Got creme burlee to go, I. Wish I had s look in the bag, it was 2 small scoops of pudding."

"Enjoyed a special occasion at the Prime Rib. Although a nice location at Maryland Live! Casino - and above average food, the overall price was quite expensive for almost all items on the menu, but especially the wines and drinks. Intended, it seems, to be a Ruth's Chris / Morton's type of restaurant - it doesn't seem to quite live up to that.
The wait staff was quite good, energetic and attentive.
The noise level was fairly high.
The pecan pie dessert was absolutely great!"

"My wife and I visited the Prime Rib to celebrate our recent 25th wedding anniversary. On a sentimental and nostalgic note, I chose the Prime Rib, as it was the downtown Baltimore location where we enjoyed our first fine dining experience as a married couple some 25 years ago. As middle class public servants, we reserve such an occasion as the precipice to visit the Prime Rib, where the food, service and ambiance are outstanding! My wife was thrilled with this choice and while she suffered somewhat from "sticker shock" while reading the menu, we were both overwhelmingly pleased with the meal and experience.

"A large open space restaurant, exactly what one would expect in a casino, although separated from it. Not the quiet ambience of, say, a Morton's. The service was excellent and special. This was a quiet special occasion and at the end of the meal the executive chef came out to chat and provided a complimentary champagne toast. The seared tuna appetizer was done perfectly and the smoked trout was a treat. The signature prime rib was perfectly done as requested and the stuffed flounder was, perhaps, the best we have ever had. The 16 layer chocolate cake was enough for two, or at least two of us. The prices were expensive. Everything is a la carte, entree, salads and sides. All in all, an excellent choice for that special occasion."

"My wife and I dined here for a belated anniversary dinner. From the outset everything was top notch. The dining room has a very open feel - with windows looking out on both the casino floor as well as toward an outdoor patio. The tomato soup was a little disappointing - tasted more like tomato sauce than tomato soup - but otherwise the food was what you would expect from an establishment in this price range.
My wife had the Chicken Oscar and I chose the filet and crab cake. Both meals were prepared perfectly. The crab dishes especially were outstanding - huge, white, clean lump meat throughout both dishes.. The wine list was extensive, including some reasonably priced choices and wines by the glass."

"The restaurant was wonderful cozy and intimate for our romantic night out. If you like to take your special someone to this place I will recommend. it's a little pricey but it's worth every penny. "Had reservations at 6:30pm, came a few minutes early and they sat us right away. I have the prime rib and my wife had the pork selection. Both entrees were cooked perfectly to our specifications. The only con,s to the dinning experience was, 1) the waiter did not know what the specials were, so just made up one. After ordering we overheard another couple explained the 3 specials , which were nothing like to one told to us. 2) refills of water was very slow, always needed to ask, even when the glasses were emtpy. Overall the food was excellent, and prices to match. Recommend the selective (smaller potion) Prime Rib, 18oz!."

"This was my first time dining at this venue. I had only become aware of it as an after thought. My primary reason for visiting this location was it is co-located with the maryland live casino. We arrived early and went to the bar and had drinks. The bartender was very attentative. When we arrived the hostess greeted us, and told us that we were early. We we seated as we requested in a booth. The main problem had to do with we were in proximity with a door, and as a result cigar smoke was very evident. The food was prepared as usual I would prosume. We ordered meat and fish. The portions were ample. My complaint, I know that pre seasoning food is very tricky. My food was a bit bland, i.e. the Sea Bass in paper, Salad the same,bad."

"They have a long way to go to polish their game, but of course, there's great potential.The most disappointing thing was that the Prime Rib for dinner itself was surprisingly dry, and really needed to au jus to be edible. The clams casino were also pretty awful.Everything else was of good quality. Definitely over-priced, for the quality they're currently offering. Note that the same pricing in the Baltimore Prime Rib would not be overpriced, since they offer a much superior product (for now). I anticipate that with time though, they'll improve."

"Everything worked out very well, the recent evening we dined at the Prime Rib. It was nice having an early week night reservation there, as it can get very busy on weekends. Our waitress was very personable, and everything we ordered was well prepared and quite tasty. We had a great table in the main diningroom with comfortable oversized leather chairs.
It was a special birthday dinner that worked out well from beginning to end. My guest, whose first time it was dining there, really found it to be very enjoyable. Looking forward to a return visit in the near future!!"

"Fish Entree for my wife was excellent, my signature cut was good but cooked to perfection.In addition, it was our Annversary and I thought the manger would have given us something for dessert. Your better upscale restaurnats do provide a little choclate or something at the end of the dinner.
We would be inclined to visit their other location in Baltimore. Their Wait Staff is more attentative with attention to detail. Our nexty stop will be Ruth Cruth's Steak House or McCormick & Schmidt's.

"Our 2nd visit was the same as the first thus consistency appears to be a hallmark at this restaurant ! Our reservations were for 6:00 and we were promptly seated right on time, we had requested our previous Server (Martha) as she had been our server on our first visit and provided fantastic service. We began with a salad for my wife and I ordered clams casino while our entree orders were lamb chops and prime rib and both arrived in with great presentation, both entrees were accompanied by a baked potato (first problem of the night, both potatoes were overcooked and were very dark inside the skin) ! But both of the entrees were delightful, the prime rib portion was huge while the lamb was perfectly cooked."

"My husband and I had a reservation at 8:00 pm and we were seated promptly. The service was outstanding and the food was to die for. We both had the the filet mignon which were cooked perfectly. The entire dinner was perfect. The timing was just right and the waitstaff was right there to fill up our water glasses and to pour more wine. We opted to sit outside for coffee and dessert and my husband had a cigar. The evening could not have been more perfect. We will definitely dine here again."

"I was very disappointed in my meal. We ordered creamed spinach and got spinach with a dash of milk...horibble. We sent it back and ordered creamed corn...same thing corn with a dash of milk. At least the creamed corn tasted better. Our waiter agreed with us on the spinach and corn...that it was not his idea of "creamed." The waiter told us that he spoke with the exec chef about the creamed spinach and corn telling him that many customers were disappointed in these dishes. In addition, the crown rolls were over baked and were hard and tough. We spent over $100 for 2 people to dine and we felt that the Prime Rib did not live up to its reputation. We won't be going back nor will we recommend it."

"The steaks we had were cooked to perfection and very very good. Our waiter was great and the service was outstanding. We noticed a lovely outdoor area with lots of fire lamps and a large glassed-in fireplace with lots of comfortable seating. We had already dined or we would have probably enjoyed going in there first and having a drink and appetizers. We will do that next time because we will definitely go back. Note to anyone who has not been here before: the actual entrance to the restaurant is near the Cinemark Theater side of the mall."

"When attending the Prime Rib you always expect everything to be "Exceptional." That was not the situation on this slow Wednesday night for our table of five. This is a "newer" Prime Rib, and I sense that they need to refine some of their processes. Bartender could not get the drinks right after 2 tries, and our waitress had to go back for additional mixtures as each drink delivery was short-changed. We waited nearly 50 minutes before the appetizers finally came out, and we sent back the salads due to the poor quality of the lettuce. The main meal was excellent, and the desserts are always amazing. You expect to spend at least 2 hours for a meal like this at The Prime Rib, but we where there well over 3 hours due to errors and waiting."

"Four of us enjoyed one of the best meals, ambiance and superior service. Even though the Prime Rib is located at one end of the casino, we would never know it. The restaurant was removed from the hustle and flashing lights. My husband and our friend chose the prime rib which was huge; but cooked to perfection. The Oysters Rockefeller was so delicious. I had the lamb which was moist and just perfect at medium. The crab cake and filet mignon was delicous also per my best friend. The staff was so friendly; yet very professional. My husband and I are making plans to go back again. This time we will utilize the Valet Parking which is right at the door"

Does not accept Prime Rib gift certificates; would have been nice to know ahead of time (yes I now know it is on their web site).

"The restaurant is very nice and service was very good. However, the price, with tip was about $100/person and I did not think the food and overall experience was worth the cost. We had the prime rib, roasted asparagus, roasted artichokes and a salad. The salad ($14) was not very good. The prime rib was mediocre and you can get similar cut/quality for half the price elsewhere. The roasted vegetables were good."
