Final Cut Steak & Seafood is a contemporary American steakhouse featuring hand selected USDA Mid-Western Prime Beef, corn-fed and naturally aged up to four weeks to ensure maximum flavor and texture. "This restaurant is located inside the Hollywood Casino in Columbus. We actually went to try the steakhouse and did end up gambling some money beforehand in the casino which is gorgous and nicer and bigger than I expected. We made a reservation for 730 but decided we wanted to eat earlier around 645pm and the restaurant accomodated us graciously! The food was great and the service was wonderful as well. A great option for a romantic night out and a yummy steak! Surprisingly quiet dining experience even though it is located inside the casino."

"My wife and I went to Final Cut to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary. We did not have a very good first experience when we went for Valentine's Day, but we wanted another chance to try it out. As the restaurant had only been open for a few months back in February, we thought some things might have improved. We were absolutely right. Our steaks were fantastic. The service was 10 times better and everything was excellent. I would go back in a heartbeat. The manager there is also fantastic and did a great job checking in and making sure we had a truly excellent evening."

"This was our 2nd visit to this restaurant. Our first visit did not go so well but after being contacted by the restaurant manager, we decided to give it another try. This visit was definitely a 180 from our first visit. Our server, Jim, was absolutely stellar! His service was impeccable and his sense of humor much appreciated. We ordered the Iceberg salad, and it was delicious just as before. This visit we decided (with the help of our server) to order New York Strips cooked medium. The steak was a 15 out of 10! It honestly melted in your mouth. Afterwards, we indulged in a pot of pressed coffee which was very smooth and bold. It was wonderful. When we are back in the area, we will definitely return to the Final Cut."

"This was our first visit to the Final Cut. Early on, we read some spotty reviews. Lately, the reviews have been pretty good. We went with another couple. The four of us had two steaks, one salmon and one sea bass. Each diner reported an excellent entree. The sides of potatoes and vegetables also were first-rate. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but it's worth it for a special occasion."

"We had a girls weekend for my mother's birthday. Server was polite and professional. Fairly simplistic menu but quality of food was on point. Restaurant decor was varied. Beautiful gowns and photos of Hollywood actors and actresses adorned the walls but flatware and placemats were chintzy. Fresh cracked salt and pepper would have been nice. (Our plain shakers on the table were empty.) The restaurant did bring a complimentary dessert which was as beautiful as it was DELICIOUS! Overall, our party thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Would go again!"

"Service and facilities were actually pretty decent; and when the staff came around they were nice. Pretty good ambiance and you can't hear any sounds from the casino which was great. The food quality however left a lot to be desired. I can spend over $100 on a meal for 2 at a lot of places in Columbus and get a steak that's not covered in a thick layer of char or have the side dishes be the best part of the meal. Sadly, we will not be returning here."

"There were only maybe 6 total people dining at the time we went it took 1 hr 48 min to bring us incorrectly cooked and types of steaks we ordered. To add insult to injury the server argued with me because I wouldn't agree the medium well steak she brought me was the medium rare I ordered. She was the rudest server I've ever encountered. Had it not been for a proper upbringing I would have left her a few written tips instead of 10% FYI I usually tip 25% for good service so that was my personal way of saying your service was poor. I'll never go back !!!"

"We had a gluten free person dining with us and the wait person brought the Chef out to our table to talk with this person. He reassured her that there would be no problem with her issue. He check with us several time during our dining experience. We also were celebrating a birthday which they noted and presented the birthday person with a small cake. Great dining experience

"We had reservations for 6:30 p.m. As soon as we sat down, I let our server know that we had concert tickets for an 8 p.m. performance at the Casino Event Center, and would need to leave by 8:45 p.m. He assured us that would not be a problem. 7:15 came by and we still had no food. 7:30 came by and we still had no food. 7:45 came by and we still had no food. Our server kept assuring us it was coming at any minute, but the food never arrived. At 7:50 p.m. I told our waiter to just bring me the check and to box up all our food to go (for a party of 6). So I was rather disappointed in the Final Cut Steakhouse. Our server was attentive and professional. And I know it's not his fault if the kitchen isn't timely and organized. But I won't return."

"The service was wonderful and the food was outstanding. Four of us had filet mingon. My husband said it was one of the best that he had ever had. I had the strip steak which was also very good. Our server (Ken?) was excellent. Attentive but not overbearing. The side dishes were plentiful to share. We got the mac and cheese, asparagus, brocollini and sweet potato. My husband got the pumpkin cheesecake and enjoyed it but three of us got the creme brulee and none of us were really happy with it. It came with a vanilla and a raspberry brulee and a chocolate sorbet. The sorbet was not all that flavorful. The vanilla creme brulee was good but the raspberry brulee was just okay. All in all I would definetaly give the Final Cut a thumbs up."

"Pictures & actual outfits worn by stars elegantly decorate the space.
When we were seated, the server-in-training, offered to light candles on our table for our anniversary. The menu is limited & very good. A nice selection of breads is offered, although they did not have gluten-free. They did bring us a small cheese & grape plate as a substitute.
I had the sea bass & it is outstanding. My husband enjoyed 10 oz. steak & a sweet potato. The salads are large--easily able to be shared. Save room for dessert! The bread pudding is HUGE and wonderful. The crème brulee is HUGE (easily shared by 2) and not-to-be-missed!
While the price is steep, ($125 + tip, incl. 2 entrées, 1 side, 2 salads & 2 desserts), the experience is worth it."

"This isn't your everyday kind of restaurant. It should be for special occasions. The food is absolutly fantastic and the atmosphere is wonderful. "My fiancé and I went to the Hollywood Casino this past weekend which was an overall great experience. MINUS our experience with Final Cut. Our waiter arrives we order drinks. He comes back with our drinks and then we put in our appetizer, salads, and entrees. Finally, we realize that we haven't gotten our appetizer or salads and our waiter is nowhere to be seen. it was actually 910. An hour later and nothing! Totally unacceptable. Not any notice from the waiter or management coming over and apologizing. This was a great disappointment. We made the choice of talking to the manager, not because we were expecting something in return, but that this whole experience was unacceptable."

When the lobster was served, I was so surprised that it was 1.5 to 2.0 pounds! It was huge! I order lobster tail all the time at restaurants and never got this big of a portion before! The food was delicious! The service is outstanding. The restaurant is very expensive. Our bill was over $200.00."

"I have to say that I was really disapointed. All I have heard is how great the final cut is in Indiana. I decided to save up my comp cash and use it when I had enough for dinner for two. I took my cousin and she does go out often and she was not impressed either. Our waitress was hardly at our table and she set us by the entrance. The food was pretty good but not worth using all of my comp cash."

"As expected for any fine steak house (think Mitchell's/Ruth's Chris/Hyde Park etc.) this is not a cheap date. However, both the New York Strip I ordered and the Prime Rib ordered by my husband were perfectly cooked as we ordered and quite delicious. My strip practiclaly melted in my mouth. The sides-to-share were generously sized, and the salad I had (an interesting take on a Caesar - Bibb lettuce instead of Romaine)was fresh and also generously portioned.
The service was outstanding - our server and the addtional staff bringing water, bread, refills on drinks - were all friendly and professional. All in all a terrific place to enjoy a "special occasion" dinner. Or if you're winning at the tables....:-D"

"The food was a little pricey but we were prepared for that. The steak was a little fatty but had good flavor. We had a group of six and everyones food came out at the same time and it was all a good temperature. We went late on a friday night and they were not busy but it took us over an hour, close to an hour and a half to have our food delivered. We asked three times for a straw and the bread took over 30 minutes to come and it wasn't nearly enough for our group of six... two bowls should have been brought out especially if the steak was taking so long."

"Went to try their Prime Rib yet by 8:15 on a Saturday they were out of it. Decided then to try their lamb; there was no flavor to it. My friend had the chicken which was dry. As a side we ordered corn and their truffle Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese also was flavorless and the sweet corn was too sweet. After we ordered it took forever to get our food and we were not offered refills on our drinks until we received our bill. There is no excuse for this since at 9pm the restaurant was empty yet the casino was full. I will not recommend this restaurant nor would I try it again. We were given free appetizers on our next dining experience, these will not be used."

"Upon entering the restaurant, I shared that I was excited to come to the Final Cut in Columbus. I have eaten at the Final Cut in Lawrenceburg many times and that experience was beyond belief. I have eaten at restaurants all over the world, and never better than the one in Ind. So I took a table of 4 to Cols. First, the service was very poor. Had to ask for a drink, had to ask for rolls and butter, had to ask to take the dinner order. There was no sharing of the Ipad for suggested options as in Ind. They did, when asked, bring the ipad, etc. The food was so-so. Not near the quality etc of Ind. We had to ask for the check. When leaving the hostess (she was pleasant) asked how it was. I shared that I was not pleased and disappointed"

"Did not like the closed in middle room we were seated in. We agreed the tables on the outside of the room provided the ambience exoected. Also the room was completwly empty yet it took me two months to get a reservation. Why wiuld you turn sway business? And it it isnt good advertising to have people walking by at dinner time and seeing empty tables everywhere. We had a great waiter and delicius food just felt a little odd being enclosed in the middke room by ourselves."
