"food was great, however the fried green tomatoes were not super special, and i'd expect super special from ludivine. the bone marrow was good, but the toast points that come with are overly flavored (garlic, salt) which at times overpowered the marrow. i absolutely loved the lamb burger and the odd and ends dish "crispy duck bits." our server, amina, was fantastic. knowledgable and personable. great wine, great strawberry cobbler desert."

"After moving to Oklahoma City many years ago and hoping for a restaurant scene to compare it to; finally there is Ludivine. The menu is inventive, the ingredients are incredibly fresh, the chef is brilliant, the staff knows their product and the tastes were wonderful. Do not expect Oklahoma sized portions and be willing to explore culinary areas that haven't been seen here before. Prices are very moderate for the quality received. I will be going back again and again, since the menu changes daily, based on what fresh items the chef finds. Sit at the Kitchen bar, it is a joy to watch the chefs."

"The food is great! But to see and experience the chefs in action was a real treat. I wonder what goes on in some kitchens. At Ludivine, I had the opportunity to see it, and I was amazed and pleased. Great care and artistry are taken with each dish, and I look forward to returning."

"This was my 3rd visit to Ludevine's and as usual the food was fantastic. I brought 2 friends with me who had never been there and they want to go back. The staff in the bar and the restaurant were super friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions and made some wonderful suggestions. I love the concept of the restaurant using what is available locally and in season. I look forward to my 4th visit....I know it will be great."

"Ludivine never disappoints. The menu is constantly changing so you never get tired of going. The food and service are always amazing. This is my go-to spot for all of my out of town guests. Arguably the best restaurant in Oklahoma City. Love this place!"

"My stepmother was visiting from New York and wanted to try Ludivine. We shared the bone marrow, which is hard to find at all around the city, and better yet it was done so well. I got the salad with herb vinaigrette and poached radishes, it was simple yet delicious. She got the soup, she said it was "souperb" (joke). We then both decided to partake in the rudderfish as recommended by our waiter, it was wonderful. The fish was cooked to perfection, and tasted so fresh, you would not even know you were in Oklahoma! To sum up, my stepmother and I both thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant and would recommend it to those who appreciate truly good food."

"Ludivine is a unique OKC experience. I strongly recommend it for anyone looking for a fresh approach to dining out. In addition to a vibrant, locally-based menu, the atmosphere is fun without being loud or overwhelming."

"while the regular menu is fantastic, my fiancé and I eat gluten free and vegetarian diet. I let the restaurant know this ahead of time and they made special 'off-menu' dishes for us. this is a truly wonderful and very special place."

"We had a relaxed dinner. The person who seated us was excited to tell us about the restaurant, and out server answered our questions about the menu items and ingredients. Our only "complaint" was the space between tables. We were seated at a table near the door, and everyone had to pass very close by our table to be seated or to leave the restaurant. We look forward to a return trip to check out the changing menu."

"Located right in the heart of a revitalizing city, Ludivine is a treat. Recently visited during our last trip from New York to visit my parents. I'm thrilled to find a restaurant like this in OKC! Local, organic menu with well prepared and modestly-sized entrees (I could just be too used to NYC-sized plates, but everything in the flyover states seems to come family sized!) My husband's bison steak was well prepared, if maybe a little salty for his taste. My fish and sunchoke dish was very nice, even if the sunchokes were a little too chewy. Even with these minor gripes, the place is definitely worth a visit."

"Fantastic! Wish I had been able to order the entire menu, everything looked so appetizing. Our waiter had an excellent knowledge of all the menu and how each dish was prepared, as well as was he prepared to give recommendations. The wine enhanced the flavors of the meal. The bread pudding was delicious for dessert, only wish there was twice as much of it. This is the perfect restaurant for an annual occasion... Valentines, anniversary, or birthday."

"Ludivine is tucked away in a neighborhood off the beaten path from Bricktown. I liked the journey because it reaffirmed the fact that we were seeking out a hidden gem. The atmosphere in Ludivine is right up any foodie's alley - high ceilings, clean decor, and best of all - stools at the open kitchen to watch the real action. The service was a little ecclectic. We had the restaurant manager taking care of us. Pro - He provided incredible expertise. Con - it also led to a curt rapport (he has more pressing matters to attend to). When we asked for recommendations within a narrowed list of preferences, he essentially ordered for us - I liked the confidence but missed having a small amount of back and forth. Overall - very good!"

"Unbelievably good food. Quality and innovation expected from finest restaurants in America- certainly unexpected in OKC. Experience combinations and ingredients that are well beyond those of home cooking. If you are adventuresome and like the idea of a true loco ore restaurant- you need to try. Bar has superb cocktails and wine list is good and affordable."

"First visit. Went on recommendation of coworker. My wife and I found the menu to be too limited. One seafood dish, and the rest pork and lamb. The other couple we were with were not so lucky. They both had issues with the their meals. The waitress was young and inexperienced, she never comfortable and made us nervous, since we thought she was going to spill the water while pouring. My wife and I may give Ludivine a second shot, but we will check before to find what is on the menu."

"The service, food, and beverages were outstanding. We will be back soon! Wait staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and made great wine and beer suggestions. I had the buffalo filet at $55. A meal has to be perfect to justify that kind of price, well they nailed it!!! My girlfriend had the hake and it was delicious as well. All their ingredients are super fresh and the seafood is flown in daily. Ludivine is a true gem in upper downtown OKC. It is a rather small restaurant so I would definitely make reservations."

"Our experience this past weekend at Ludivine was extraordinary! My wife and I sat at the kitchen bar top and watched Chef Stranger and team work culinary magic. The food was so fresh, you can taste the local difference. I could have stopped with the sorel and celery soup and been blown away, however the freshest salad, hardy entries, a devine dessert all enjoyed with a clean chardonnay bottle of wine. The service was also outstanding. We let our server know we had a baby sitter and were there to enjoy the evening. The service and timeliness was followed our leisurely plans. We appreciate the farm to table movement and an ever changing menu. We look forward to our next culinary trip at Ludivine."

"I've been told that Ludivine will be catering in Heaven by more than one person. I don't know if my expectations were too high, or if it was just an off-night. The food was good, but it wasn't anything extraordinary. When I told my friends who recommended I go there this, I was named a blasphemer. I'm willing to give it another shot, however. That evening they were serving Oklahoma wild rabbit on a bed of linguini, baby carrots, and baby tomatoes. Don't get me wrong, it was tasty. It wasn't world-changing. We also had the roasted bone marrow. I'm open to many things, and I was told it is like the best butter you've ever spread on bread. The texture was not appealing, however. Good, not great. I'll try it again another time."

"There's always something new and unusual on the small, but thoughtful freshly prepared menu. We shared the charcuterie–our 3 choices were cheese ( a buttery, Brie-like cheese from Vermont), house-made country pate and salmon served with crisp toasted bread points, flavorful mustard, a tomato relish, and my favorite–the spicy candied ginger slices. Then we had the rabbit and the sea bass–imaginatively prepared with delicious side dishes. Unlike so many chain restaurants around town these cooks use local ingredients when possible and always make flavorful choices. The couscous that accompanied the fish was the tastiest I have ever had. Sorry, out of room for the out-of-the-world dessert."

"The online menu did not match their menu for the evening. The server had to ask the kitchen questions she did not have answers for. When we walked in it smelled of turpentine from the business next door remodeling. Overall, the four of us were unimpressed with the menu, food and service."

"I really liked the rotating menu - using fresh, in season ingredients. The food was very good but not great - our table had a tomato soup, which was nice, and the cassoulet and boar. Both mains were nicely presented and delicious but missed a certain something to make it spectacular. However, the fact they had cassoulet was a nice surprise. Despite our waitress being a little sullen, I would absolutely go back next time i'm in town. It was quaint, had a good atmosphere, and a good menu."
