Blackwood is the Marina"s new and Chestnut's only Thai-American fusion restaurant --with two fireside communal tables out front that give way to an interior of pillow-equipped banquettes and marble table tops. We offer staple Thai-ness (pad Thai, crispy crusted tiger prawns), we also have some awesome unexpected-ness like sides of Millionaire Bacon (as seen on "united states of food"), the BW Burger (seasoned Wagyu w/ white cheddar, cilantro aioli, and sesame Thai salad on a brioche bun), stonepots for lunch, and a grilled Wagyu flank steak dipped in homemade 151 rum sauce, named the "Last Mid Night", Sea bass dish named "Deep purple sea". We also offer an impressive 16-beer, three-sake, quagillion-wine list, plus we're serving breakfast every day ('til 4p), meaning seven days a week, you can start your day with a mimosa that's bottomless.
"Love restaurants that serve breakfast all day. The Blackstone Benedict was superb. If someone likes bacon, the Millionaire's Bacon is a must and it is every bit as scrumptious as mentioned by food reviews. Would definitely go back many times."

"This was my first time to Blackwood. The menu was extensive and all the food our table ordered was well-prepared, well-presented and delicious. This restaurant can accommodate larger groups, as well as small and intimate gatherings. It is not a large restaurant, but the ambiance is good. It has both indoor and outdoor dining options. I would definitely return and plan to take my family next time."

"We really enjoyed te evening here! The fire was lovely and the service was incredible. Really enjoyed the water with raspberries! My only complaint was my ahi salad was rediculously salty!"

"Very good food and wine selection. The big problem is they rush the diners so they can close the restaurant early. The waitress returns to the table every two minutes until you order. When I asked them to stop they would not. Then while you are eating at 8:30 they start closing down the dining room and locking the doors. I find this inexcusable especially in San Francisco where the city does not close at 9:00PM."

"Blackwood and just plain super spicy/weird awesome. The dishes all have a similar vibe of super lean tasty then covered with a ridiculous spicy asian sauce which you either want to kill for or plain don't like. I love this sauce and this place. For the dollar decent value."
