Savour Kitchen and Cocktail Room is Mr. Ianace's take on a Casual Gourmet Kitchen, blending elements of an old school Chop House with more adventurous New American fare like savory Duck Confit Quesadillas, Ahi Tuna Nachos, and delicate pear and Cheese Pasta Purses. Savour's Vibrant bar specializes in unique and intensely fresh cocktails made with only premium ingredients. With over 35 specialty concoctions, Savours full service bar is sure to please.
"The place was hectic, loud and crazy. The brunch buffet was only so-so as far as quality and the line to wait to get either the buffet or the omelette state was long and placed awkwardly. The Bloody Mary was great and the Eggs Benedict I ordered was surprisingly delightful. The coffee was abysmal. we had to chase down our waiter to get service, refills and the check. The tables were placed way too close together for civilized conversation.
Hopefully, it's just the newness working out the kinks. But for now, I don't have to go again."

"Our waiter acted like he was related to the party behind us and hardly had time for us. Being our first time, we were not familiar with the way we were to be served and it was a good ten minutes before someone finally came by to explain the details. The food was terrible. The pork was dry as cotton. Most of the food bins didn't have serving utensils. Ive had better meals at hotel buffets. The bill floored me. Website boasted $30.00 per plate. When the bill finally showed up with a $42.00 per person price tag, I couldn't get out of there fast enough."

"Service was decent and the manager visited our table to make sure everything was fine. The food was OK, but my guests' fajitas were greasy and the grilled chicken in my salad tasted as though it was grilled several days prior. I swear it would bounce off a wall if I'd tried. I wanted to like Savour but the food quality just wasn't there. However, if you're looking for a bar and you're at least 35-40, this might be your place. It was rather noisy as the bar was very lively and packed. Maybe Savour should forget the kitchen and just remain a Cocktail Room. Also, my 14 year old was the only kiddo in the restaurant so we did feel a bit out of place. Not a family restaurant vibe going on here at all. Very nice people, though."

"We love Savour. It is a great place to relax with excellent service and good food. The American Tapas, shared plate idea is executed extremely well. The tuna nachos are a favorite. If your a calimari fan--it is the best around. It is a great place for happy hour lingering into dinner. Love it for unwinding on Friday. I am impressed with the food, nice twists on standards but some more inventive combinations as will. The sevice can best be described as friendly and helpful. You feel comfortable and well taken care of. The owner is present and drops by to make sure you are well taken care of. Our waiter gave us some cups of water to go right before we left. A nice touch."

"Went for brunch last Sunday for the first time and it was terrible. We thought from a couple previous reviews it was a buffet but it was order off the menu...which was fine.
The service is very, very slow. The waiter wasn't rude but just non existent. They are way understaffed. He was running all over the place.
The Crab Benedict was not good at all....way too salty. And they forgot the berries/ fruit that came with it. Service so slow no one to even tell. The bottomless mimosas for $10 were really bad...and pointless since it took forever to get the first one and I had to get the hostess to get me anything additional.
A lady with her kid was clearly either the manager or owner. She was sitting at a table in the dining area,"

"We had an overall good experience, but not great. The music from the bar area is too loud and the menu is a odd mixture of burgers, pizza, seafood and steak. The lighting over the front booths has these pendants with glaring lightbulbs (they need rethinking). luckily we were with good friends that made it better."

"Great happy hour steak deal: $24 for 26-ounce steak if ordered on weekdays before 6 pm! Normally this bone-in ribeye is priced at 2x that amount. Also great happy hour specials during the week... The servers are also super friendly. Not sure why more people don't go here."

"Seemed a little cramped, the buffet entrees were not labeled and I ended up eating seafood cannelloni thing thinking it was chicken... I hate seafood! I also got a piece of French toast that was pretty burnt. The rest of the food was ok but nothing to write home about especially for $30 a person."

"Had Easter brunch here. Great selection of foods. Only thing that would have made it better was if there had been some gluten free breads or rolls. Everything was delicious though. The free mimosas were wonderful. All the waitpersons were extremely helpful."

"The small plates are great for sharing, and the "Shrimp Depth Charges" were a perfect combination of crispy bacon, tender shrimp, and a sliver of jalapeno. The Greek pizza was also yummy and unique--tender pieces of lamb and feta together on a thin, crisp crust. I won't forget to mention the dessert buffet! At $8, it's not cheap, but the sheer size and variety is worth it. Everything we sampled--bread pudding, cupcakes, creme brulee--was tasty. Our only disappointments were our cocktails ordered off the specialty list--sort of missed the mark. But we are going back and bringing friends."

"We had our Valentine's Day dinner here and it was superb. For a restaurant that has only been open a short while, we have to admit that we were impressed that there were very few kinks. We had a very excellent dinner with good wine. Our waiter was quick to anticipate any needs and provided excellent service. The prix fixe menu was very nice and it was the best steak frites I have had since leaving NYC."

"Don't know who to blame-Savour or Open Table!Got an email confirmation of my reservation, however, upon arrival I found the restaurant had NO reservation for my party.Hence, they had not received the special requests I had made. Luckily, they were very slow that night and were able to accomdate us. Calamari was excellent.I ordered a small plate of meatballs (just to taste) but they never arrived. About 20 minutes after placing our dinner order, the waiter returned to inform me they had NO FRIES to accompany my Steak Frites!! And the chef was trying to make some handcut ones for me.I was agreeable. He returned sometime later to say the Handcut fries didn't work out. My question is WHO RUNS OUT OF FRIES BY 6pm IN DALLAS? Are troubles afoot???"

"It was Valentines so I will give the restaurant a break. The steak on the canned menu was less than stellar. The food came out very slow. The wine was good the the waiter pushed certain ones too hard. I will probably try it again but it will not be on Valentines."

"Food was decent. Appetizers were excellent. Service was a little iffy. We left the table for a min to step outside and returned to find our table had been cleared. Our drinks were replaced and our main dishes arrived but we had to ask for silverware again to begin eating. There was also a question on the bill the was fixed, but shouldn't have come up in the first place."

"Decor is interesting. Dining room is roomy with tables seperated well. Great view into the kitchen. Food is excellent, especially the small plates - crab cakes are the best I've had in a while! Wait staff is very friendly. Only complaint is that too many employees were buzzing around and it was distracting."

"Enjoyed our first visit here and excited to have a solid contender for good food at reasonable prices and decent wine list in our neighborhood. We kept wondering why there weren't more people in the restaurant or bar, such a nice upscale atmosphere, but it was a Monday night. Great happy hour we will take advantage of in the future. Salads, burgers, steaks were all great."

"It's a great restaurant. They are geared toward the upscale and the ambiance is very nice. The menu is very creative. The cocktail room part of the title is very descriptive, because their drinks seem to be a specialty. I had the Secretariat, a creative adaption of a mint julep, and it was very tasty. My wife had the Orange Julius, as recommended here on Yelp, and it indeed tasted exactly like a Dreamsicle. Very good. Our service was good, and everything was friendly. Can easily be romantic, family dining, or group hanging out. They've got great themes going on - the abundance of serrano peppers in the menu was noticeable and cool."

"We'd initially planned on dinner, but ended up sitting at the bar. I consider myself somewhat of a mixed drinks expert. I was impressed by our bartender, he was personable, and the Brazillian Caipirinha drink I got wasn’t too shabby! I'd never had duck Quesadillas and we decided to try it, and were impressed by the presentation, and it tasted just as good. To top of the experience, the owner went around and personally thanked everyone for coming, we'll definitely be back!!"

"First time to visit this restaurant. There was a group of us. Food was great but our service was a little slow. One of the GM's visited our table several times, which was very nice. I'd back again because the food was great and the ambiance nice. They even had live music which is hard to find in North Dallas."
