Soleil Beach Club Reviews List

Soleil Beach Club

A perfect place for lunch or dinner, to celebrate and delight the palate. An ocean front experience, embraced by the warm and inviting Caribbean sand under the gaze of the tropical sun or the luminous glow of the stars.

Soleil first opened its doors in 1997. Through the tenacity and vision of its owners, who fell in love with the area, the once small, yet modern bar, has developed slowly to become the premier gourmet restaurant, cultural sponsor and the nightspot of Piñones.

Today, Soleil is a cultural icon and a magnificent restaurant with over 50 employees, including a banquet hall, which is spacious and comfortable. Every activity at Soleil is characterized by the gentle breezes of the surrounding palm trees, exotic drinks and gourmet feasts.

"When we got there we had to hunt around to find someone to ask about a table (there was no hostess). We wandered to the bar and asked the bartender. He said that they had two "private parties" going on and no wait staff to handle other customers, so he asked us to wait. We waited a while and then they told us they really didn't have a place to seat us. We left and drove back to the city to find someplace else (this place is a short way from the hotel/restaurant area, and is in a bit of an unsavory neighborhood). I honestly can't tell you anything about the food, but the service level and level of professionalism leave something to be desired. The ambiance left something to be desired as well. It seems to be just an old run-down beach bar."

"This was a terrific restaurant. It is right on the beach in beautiful Pinones. The seafood is super fresh and the wine list is extensive and incredibly reasonable. The menu has delicious seafood items such as Seafood salad - with shrimp, conch and crab - not overdressed so the taste of the food comes through. They also have Puerto Rican dishes such as mofongo -- thes best I have had!
Excellent -- and a real setting -- not hotel fare or hotel views.
Come for the real thing
