Serving the metro for twenty eight years, La Baguette Bistro is the go-to place for Sunday brunch, cakes beyond compare, pastries and fine wine.
The Euro-casual ambiance with its ever-changing art gallery is comfortable yet elegant, and the dark, cozy bar area invites leisurely drinks after work. Regulars flock to La Baguette Bistro for the Croque Madam & Monsieur sandwiches, Chicken Crepes and toothpick-thin French fries ("frites"). Daily specials keep them interested.
"Weather here has been awful and so I understand that they were a couple of waiters short. Having said that, the service was dreadful. Having said that, the food is really good. The same applies for Bellini's which the same people own. There must be some disconnect between the kitchen and the wait staff. It was obvious that those who are regulars got more attention, but not better service I woud love to love it for the quality of the food."

"What a menu! All the starters are fabulous ... pecan crusted baked Brie, blackened scallops, soups, bread. Main course has so many great offerings, but you MUST save room for dessert. Try anything chocolate even if you're full!"

"Gabriel was informative, friendly and attentive throughout the evening. But the kitchen performance wasn't up to par. Our foursome had mixed results with our dinners. Our guests enjoyed their selections (steak special; salmon on menu). My wife (chicken paillard) and I (pasta with chicken and mushrooms) thought our entrees were below average. These days there are too many really good places for fine dining in OKC/Edmond to settle for inconsistency. La Baguette doesn't disappear, but it does slide down several notches on our list of faves."

"Not so impressive from the outside, but it was very nice inside. It is expensive, but the food was good, service was outstanding, and the wife was pleased for our anniversary so it was a success. I had flowers delivered ahead of time to the restaurant and they were delivered to our table after we were seated."

"I seem to get bad table locations with OpenTable reservations... like right in the middle of heavily trafficked areas where you feel your life may be in jeapordy..."

"The baked brie was outstanding. However, two out of four steaks were overlooked. Tables too close together - I felt like I was dining with strangers since the tables were about 1-1/2 feet apart. Price too high for the food quality."

"The duck I had was pretty good. I think the rice it was on wasn't all that good and the sauce wasn't as tasty as I had hoped. Just seemed over priced for what we got. The waiter was amazing however and made the experience a good one."

"Our experience at LaBaguette was good. THe service was average as we had to wait for service for several items and for our waiter to return to see if we needed any additional items. We will return to LaBaguette but would appreciate an improvement in the service offered."

"We have been dining with you for years and never had bad food or service until this time. We received our steaks about half way through our soup and everything was cold. The waiter said told us we were wrong that he had seen the food plated. Our wine came after the after the dinner. We want Robbie to come back."

"La Baguette is one o the best restaurantin Oklahoma City. Even if you don't like French food, you will find somethng here as they have a nice French-American fusion (I would say). Their french onion soup is the best Ive had in any restaurant in the US so far (it still falls short from the real thing). The staff is not that friendly, or maybe I should say they are just moody."

"We went for Valentines dinner. Special menu. They were busier than usual. We've eaten here a couple of times before, including brunch, which is good. Overall, the steaks were very good. My veggies(green beans and asparagus) were overcooked. We had the cheese plate as an appetizer, and, though the cheese was delicious, the plating wasn't very pretty. I had bread pudding which was good, but I've had better. My husband had a strawberry cake that he enjoyed. In summary, La Baguette is a good restaurant with nice European bistro vibe. We'll go again, but if I had a foodie friend visiting OKC, this would not be a stop on our food tour of the city."
