"We came here with a large party on a Saturday night and were very excited to be able to get in at 7 on a weekend night. Our server was great and very attentive-without being overly so-however, the food was barely ok. I'm not sure what restaurants are still buying such poor quality (ground) beef that it can only be cooked Medium-Well or more, but this is actually one of them... And then charging $11 for said burger and $2 if you want cheese on that overdone hockey puck? Eh, not particularly impressive. The pizza and pastas were okay, but nothing to write home about. The chicken and corn chowder needed something to bump up the flavor-a little smoke on the chicken would do wonders! All in all, not terrible, not great by any means."

"Food was ok. Had a salad wedge with blue cheese dressing. Blue cheese was creamy with a touch of tang. Then moved on the the mahi mahi tacos. They were ok. My husband had a house pizza. The bottom of the pizza was a little soggy due to the 5 cheeses they put on top. Not too sure why it was called margarita pizza. Service was not good. Waitress was young and couldn't help with making a suggestion of what to order. Nor did she check in with us during the meal. Also lighting was poor. I ate my food in the dark."

"The food was great! Probably the best chicken sandwich I have ever eaten (Chicken & Brie), and my girlfriend felt the same about her Portobello meal! As far as the ambiance and location.. sort of a meh. It is located in a corner of the Denver Place "tower" and a PIA to find. It took us 10 minutes of wandering around the outside of the building to locate an open door at 7:30pm. I could see this place being great for people who eat lunch in the tower where it is located, but overall it was a blah layout overlooking Quizno's with nothing but sports on all the screens (Not that I mind as a guy, but not what was expected when taking my girl out, or from the online reviews/pictures) We will return for the food though!"

"My wife and I went during happy hour and it was certainly happy...lotsa office workers having drinks after work and having a good time at that. I am not sure exactly how to categorize this place. The ambiance is upscale and modern and at first appears like a high-end eatery. But with multiple wide screen TVs everywhere and most of the floor space dedicate to the bar and group tables it is clearly more of a sports bar. Pretty noisy too. As for the food, there is a wide variety from sushi to sliders. The prices are high, except at happy hour, but the portions are large and good for sharing. The food is better than what you might expect at a sports bar, but not enough to make it a nice dining experience."

"Hodson's feels more like an over priced sports bar or Chili's only with a much more limited menu. I had a hamburger that was tasty but I don't think it was worth $16. My boyfriend had the prime dip & it was very unremarkable. The shaved prime rib had no flavor & was really over done. For $18 I shouldn't get bored with my first bite & tired of chewing it because of how chewy & dry the meat was. The aux jus helped but only while it was warm which wasn't long. The air was on & with a door that opens to the street with 20° weather outside, we were cold & so was our food even though we were seated as far from the outer door as possible. Additionally the penne pasta on the $52.80 menu is not available on the regular menu. Wasn't very impressed."

"Good food, good service. Their address is deceptive - you will find them right on the corner of 19th and Curtis. Interesting menu with something for just about everyone. The Garden Pizza was excellent - we were expecting a single serve dish and found it enough for two so long as you have an appetizer as well (sliders were OK). They are competitively priced for downtown. All-in-all worth checking out."
