"I've been going to Sea Shore for many years, esp for celebrations and holidays. The service - from the valets to the waiters -is friendly, courteous, outstanding. These are surpassed only by the food!"

"We had two small children with us. We asked the waiter at the start of dinner to bring out the food as it was ready so the children wouldn't have to sit too long. He worked with us and did just that! Each course came out right after the other, the kids never got bored and we all were able to enjoy our dinner!"

"The food portions are plentiful - I think it would more than satisfy most appetites.The food was fresh, cooked perfectly and very tasty. The small shrimps in the salad was such a nice touch and unique to other restaurants. I particularly like the bread that is served, so much that previously I asked for the name of the bakery that they buy the bread from. The entrees were a bit pricey, but the portions more than make up for it and it will provide for another dinner at home with the leftovers. One of our sides was not hot or even warm, but we had a piping hot replacement very quickly once that was brought to the attention of the staff. Only other critique was the waiter was a little slow in attending to us."

"Have not been back to the Sea Shore for many years since moving to CT from NYC. Have now been back three times and it is still one of the most special restaurants in the NY Metro area. No restuarant matches the variety offered by its menu; an incredible salad comes with the entree; huge offerings in both variety and size of entrees and ending with great desserts. The food is delicious and the New England Clam chowder should win awards. The service staff and management can't do enough to accommodate you....Comfortable with the restuarant I recently introduced it to a party of eight. All loved the food.....Also found it to be a great place to stop for lunch or dinner on the way back to CT from Manhattan."

"My husband and I were there on a Friday at 1 pm and had the place to ourselves. It was our first time and were treated like honored guests! Food was delicious and plentiful (had full meal the next day with our "doggie bags"). Sam, our waiter, was attentive, pleasant and very knowledgable. We can't wait to return."

"Being a Bronxite all my life and just recently a Yonkers resident, I've been going to the Seashore for more than 35 years and still find it wonderful. The service is fantastic and I love everything else about the place, such as the wonderful bread, sauteed mushrooms and vegetables put on the table before dinner. I remember commenting to a person at my table, sometime ago, that I loved the mandarin oranges they put into her salad. I didn't notice any waiters nearby but the next thing I knew, I had a cup of mandarin oranges in front of me. Another time, a friend said something about the wonderful coffee and the waiter brought him a small package of coffee to take home and brew. The service at the Seashore is second to none."
