"I took my wife here for our anniversary, which was an excellent choice! The service was notably great off the bat, and te food was fanominable! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone lokking for great food and exceptionable service"

"Our son graduated from high school and, between all of the parties and events, was able to "squeeze us in" for a family lunch. On a Saturday, all of the "top" restaurants out south aren't open. We had reservations for 7 indoors, but the weather was great. We were taken to our table and sat, but the manager had no problem at all setting up a large table outside. Our waitress was great as was the food. I want a huge platter of Italian sausage sliders for any sporting event I ever watch again. Each diner's meals were great from kids to grandparents. Will definitely go again."

"Unlike previous visits the restaurant was nearly empty. In spite of that -- service was so-so. Food was OK; portions of lunches were large; appetizers smaller than other venues. We asked for a table that would allow for some more private conversations and even in an almost empty restaurant we were seated right next to a table and 2 booths. Was OK, but not great. Would I go back? Yes, and hopefully to the same noise level. When packed with diners you can almost not hear each other at the table."

"Mother's Day brunch menu was extensive - the regular menu with some specials. I had smoked salmon benedict - light on hollandaise with chopped tomatoes and capers - a delicious take. When I asked for an alternative to potatoes they served mixed greens and lemon vinagrette which I appreciated. My fellow diners had a salad with salmon and were very happy. The service was stellar, both our server and those on their way by noticed if we needed something and got it without being intrusive. The atmosphere is cozy and not dark for lunch. Pricing is good for the quality and entree portions are just right. Don't miss the chocolate cake for dessert - 1 piece feeds 3-6 people!"

"Great food, great service and everyone that works there is super friendly. Wait staff really seemed to work together and knew the menu very well! I have already recommended it to several friends and I will be back! We made our reservations online which was convenient and got seated within 5 minutes of arriving for our reserved time. "our dinner was mediocre at best. For a $30 prime rib I would have expected a much better meal. Aside from the dollop of blue cheese on top, the meat was flavorless. It was allegedly "black pepper crusted" but that didn't appear to amount to more than what I could have done with my own pepper mill at the table. The potatoes au gratin sold me on the dish when it came time to order. Unfortunately, they were burnt and also lacking flavor. My husband ordered the crab cake sandwich. Before he ordered we both noted how unusual (and wonderful) it was to see that the sandwich came with TWO crab cakes. Lo and behold, when the dish arrived the crab cakes were roughly the size of a silver dollar. He also noted that the sandwich was flavorless."

"Really enjoyed this restaurant. The noise level was a little high but you didn't have to yell to be heard. I had the special which was halibut and it was excellent. Also, the side salad was very good with blueberries, cranberries, walnuts. Service was good, waiter was pleasant without being over friendly. A little pricey but worth it. I would definitely go there again and recommend it to others."

"Our waiter was very knowledgable, friendly and helpful. He steered one of our indecisive guests in the right direction. I would like to try more things on the menu and will definitely return to do so. I had a Tavern Mojito that was fantastic. We had humus that was some of the best humus I have ever had. The atmosphere was great and I didn't feel that it was too overpriced considering the location."

"We were not very pleased with our visit. We had the ahi tuna tacos and crab cakes for appetizers. The tacos were flavorless and difficult to eat. The crab cakes were tiny and also bland. Our entrees included the ribeye which under seasoned and not seared properly, the fish tacos were so bland that I had to request a side of Sirracha. The fish itself was quite soggy which did not make for pleasing texture on the tongue. Our dinner guests had the pork chop and trout which they said they enjoyed. I had a bite of the pork chop and it was definitely the best thing I had all night. Oh, one positive is the wine was delicious! Unfortunately we will not be back."

"Normally we really like this place and have had good luck. This particular night the restaurant seemed overly noisy and the food was less than impressive. I had the dinner special which was grouper, but was less than impressed at what I got for $27. I could have prepared the same dish at home for under $10. My date ordered the salmon and Kale salad which comes with a lemon vinagrette. The salad was about 3/4 mixed greens and a very small amount of kale, and the dressing was not good. The manager came over to help and suggested a better dressing which was far better. Even so, if you know the other degrading is not very good, why is it part of the dish? It was just a less than typical night for a place we usually enjoy."

Although our server may not have come around quickly enough to check us out, another server took our credit card and gift card and closed out our check. "We are both foodies, and were both amazed by our meals. I had the Filet Mignon, which was perfect, and my spouse had the Beef Stroganoff. We had the bruschetta as an appetizer, which was delicious, and we fought over the last bite. The wine list was great, and we enjoyed the bottle of Malbec we selected. Zeke was our server, and he was spot on. It was our first time here, and we look forward to coming again."

"The hand crafted drinks, the dinner, the service, the atmosphere were all exceptional. The place was packed and we were seated at the exact time of our reservation. Our server, Ryan, was very solicitous and knowledgeable, and the owner brought one of our dishes and came back to see how our meals were. We were all very impressed and anticipate our next visit."
