Yebo is the newest restaurant creation from Restaurateur Justin Anthony. Taking cues from its sister restaurant, 10 Degrees South, Yebo specializes in South African Tapas, and is a unique offering to Phipps Plaza and the Buckhead area. The vibe is hip and sophisticated while the decor screams safari chic!
"Unassuming, simple place but with quite an interesting menu at very reasonable prices, ideal for a quite bite after or before the movies. My smoked spinach salad and fried chicken was delicious and my husband really liked his beet salad and curry. Wine list was awesome and service nice and attentive. We will definitively come back."

"Love the food and atmosphere at Yebo, but very disappointed by the way our reservation was handled. When we arrived at the restaurant for an 8:45 PM reservation there were no tables available. The hostess wanted to know if we needed a table and offered us a section in an area that had soft seating and was right next to the stage, very, very noisy. Luckily a table opened up on the patio and we were able to enjoy our meal at an actual table. So very disappointed by the way Yebo handles reservations. Very skeptical to return."

"Great overall experience. The food was different, cleverly prepared and delicious. The small portions are more substantive than traditional tapas. The service was impeccable, and the outdoor dinning full of interesting vistas. Moderately priced."

"Small lunch crowd on Wednesday - less thatn 10 tables so we were surprised that there was only one chilled bottle of sparkling water and that the ice cream for the dessert we ordered was unavailable. Perhaps they are still working out some kinks. Food was good and we'll go again."

"I had read great reviews of the food at Yebo so decided to check it out with some girl friends. The good reviews are definitely deserved. The food was delicious; everything we tried was great. The portions are small so be prepared to share lots of dishes. I will definitely go again and try the items we didn't get to."

"Not remarkable, overpriced - Beef curry bread bowl was standard. Piri piri popcorn was smothered in cheese - no piri piri flavor detected. $7 for french fries in a portion the size of a small from a fast food restaurant. The food was ok, but a little bland considering all of the hype about African spices/flavors on the menu. I would say this place would be appropriate for a meat/potatoes eater who is looking for something adventurous. Actual foodies should consider other options."

"On a Sat night, there's a musician who was pretty good. Food was familiar, but with a South African twist. Server was well informed and pleasant. Overall a good dining experience. Everyone enjoyed their food in a party of six. Lemon shrimp salad, Mac n cheese, fried chicken were some of our choices."

"This was my second visit. The first allowed for a lovely afternoon chat with a friend on a saturday. The next was on a thursday, cold and rainy thursday. I reserved for a group of 6. The restaurant rang the afternoon of our 7pm reservation and quickly agreed that they would accommodate a party of 10. When we arrived, our table was set for 10! Only 7 showed, but the server never missed a beat! The dreary day quickly became a thing of the past as the service was prompt and delightful and the food yummy. The restuarant was filled with loads of interesting people deserving of watching and a phenomenal musician performed! I will absolutely return! My friends raved about it and plan to return, as wwell!"

"I love the whole concept of this place. American/South African Infused food, and it's pretty good. The fried chicken and malta dessert was my favorite :) I will keep this one on my top favorites list."

"We took guests from out of town. This is a great restaurant for unusual fare. The food is delicious. The wine, terrific. We had the beet salad, bangers and mash, crab cakes, seafood bowl, chicken curry bowl, and ostrich sliders. They were all satisfying. We shall return."

"Good food but way over price. Mixed drinks are $12 and most of the small plates are over $12. My wife and I had 4 small plates, i had two beers and she had 2 mixed drinks and we spent over $120 with tip! I would go back for the Ostrich sliders but thats about it."

"The workers at Yebo definitely value their customers. Although I did not have a main course I did try their dessert and it was okay. The menu, however, looks extremely tasteful and interesting! I have to try it out next time, but Yebo is great for a late night outting with friends. The drink menu is awesome, a lot of variety! The ambience drew me in, with or without the food or drinks it's a cool hangout!"

"Great service here at Yebo. They took my reservation later than I anticipated because patrons wouldnt leave but they made up for it and the manager and other staff repeatedly apologized.
The food was delicious and even the two Namibians that I dined with remarked on the dishes even though it is a South African twist. I enjoyed the place and will return."

"Excellent choice for tapas. Each selection offered an exciting new taste sensation. Our favorite dish was the Georgia Shrimp. The portions were generous for tapas; four selections will be quite filling for a party of two. The service was great; appropriately attentive, but not overbearing. Excellent South African wine list."

"First time at Yebo. Food was good, service was mediocre, ambiance was high energy and trendy. There was a DJ spinning cool tunes the whole night which made it very loud. We were shouting to hear one another at a small, 4 person table. Still, it was fun and I would definitely go again."

"The place was great, small but cleverly set up to have a nice time. We were sat in the private dinning room, which is perfect to have a nice romantic dinner but also still here the music of the main room. And although i forget our servers name (I'm horrible with names) he was great, knew everything about everything on the menu, and could even speak intelligently about tapas from other restaurants as to give us a comparison. We ordered Pork tacos Bangers and Mash Fish Tacos Mac and Cheese Ostrich Sliders Chicken Currie Bunny Bowl Muscles French Fries everything was full of flavor and just great. I also recommend trying "The Cliffton" a really good drink, I think it was Vodka, Grape Juice, White Cranberry Juice and Lime,Amazing"

"Ostensibly a South African themed restaurant. The decor is good, the bar is nice but not spectacular, the wine list is narrow and does not reflect the wonderment of varieties and textures of wine available from the the South African abundance. The menu is limited so I started off with a greek salad that, in taste, texture and creativity, seemed to have brought over directly from a Panera restaurant. Ordered the seafood bread bowl, again, think, Panera's soup in a bread bowl. Gooey, miniature scallops, creamy, salty sauce, the juxtaposition of this salty creamy sauce and capers needs some re-thinking.On the service, they seem to have been short staff, the young lady who served us was also handling the outside patio area solo."

The music was a little loud but I enjoyed the type of music, more world than mainstream. The decor was very cool and modem. Warm lighting and waitstaff.
The food was good although we only ordered the fries, lamb pops and mussels all very tasty.
I would return there again. ."

"The food was good and overall we had a nice night. We ordered a bunch of different items to try and we wish the kitchen would have known enough to stagger its arrival. It ALL came out at the same exact time. There was no room on the table and we were so overwhelmed where to put it all not to mention half of it was cold by the time we got to it."
