"The food was excellent, the service way better than most places in Annapolis. There is an air of mild formality that's not found often these days. It's sparkling clean & not loud. We had a great experience."

"India's is our favorite "before the symphony" restaurant because of its proximity to the Maryland Hall of Creative Arts. It is also a favorite when we are joined by vegetarians or people with dietary restrictions as one our group had on this visit. We tried a dish new to us on a friend's recommendation, Tikki Salmon. It was absolutely delicious. We also had Tikki Lamb, and some old favorites, Saag Paneer and two kinds of Nan. We also had a complementary salad. One of our party of four declared it was the best Indian meal he had ever had. We will continue to enjoy meals at India's and recommend it to others."

"The wine we wanted was no longer available (an Argentine Malbec), so the owner gave us a similar Argentine Malbec wine that was not on the wine list for the same price, and it was excellent."

"My wife and I have enjoyed eating at India's for the last 10 plus years. We celebrated our first Valentines Day together there and went to India's the night I proposed to my wife. The food is spectacular. If you like Indian food you will love this restaurant. The service is perfect. Not too much attention and not too little. The lunch buffet has an excellent assortment of food. And as far as the dinner goes I cannot escape the Rogan Josh. I have been to many Indian Restaurants in MD and none come close to India's mastery of that dish and many others. My wife got the Thali, an assortment of veg dishes. Whoa, the saag paneer, channa masala, and veg dish was outstanding. Enjoy this restaurant, we always do."

"These reservations were made to celebrate my 50th birthday with my family. This place doesn't even come close to an ambiance to celebrate anything. We made a U-turn and walked right back out. Now I can see why they didn't post any restaurant pictures on their website."

"We had never had Indian food before and wanted to try something different. My wife and I went on Valentines Day and we had an amazing dinner served by the most friendly and professional waitstaff. We can't wait to go back again.
We loved it and rate both the food and service 5 stars. The owner was on the floor and actually ordered for us because it was our first time...very nice."

"The food was spicy hot and delicious. We ordered the veggie dish for 2 which included lentils, spinach, and other veGgies. We also ordered some appetizers (samosas and mulagatany soup) which was very good. The bread we ordered was hot and very tasty."

"Ate there late on Friday night - only a couple of people in the place. We are frequent diners of Indian cuisine. The food was among the worst I've ever had - clear just thrown together in the kitchen and the service was almost as bad. I would never go there again if I was in town."

"The food is always wonderful at India's and it certainly was on our recent visit. However, it was a very crowded Saturday evening and the dining room did not run very smoothly. We had a reservation and were seated promptly, but there were people standing around in the dining room all evening waiting for a table. India's just isn't set up for a wait or overflow. India's on a week night is a quiet, luxurious treat. But the food is outstanding any night of the week."
