"The food was impressive at Cabal. Scalops with lentils as an entre were wonderfull. Lamb was tasty and the molten chocolate cake was the best I've had. This is a "late night" crowd location,but is easily a good place for dinner as well. Prices were extremely reasonable for dishes served. Highly recommend"

"Food is delicious, reasonably priced and nice presentation. Interesting cocktail menu and decent selection of beer and wine if cocktails aren't your thing. Service is friendly not your typical fine dining experience more suited to their loungy atmosphere. Space changes into a cocktail bar/ lounge later in the evening"

"The restaurant has a lofty and unique look. They have showcased beautiful art on their brick walls which makes the place very warm and welcoming. food is of a similar high quality,looks simple,fresh,flavorful and very reasonably priced. Visited mid afternoon during a quiet period. Staff out numbered diners but were polite and attentive without being overwhelming and had great knowledge of how to match their food with great cocktails or wine."

"Freezing cold inside. We had to ask the server to turn up the heat after spending 15 warming out hands over the little candle at the table and wearing our jackets and scarfs. Ambiance is lacking. The lighting was so low we couldn't even see what we were eating. Good cocktails but extremely expensive. Not worth the money. Absolutely no wine is offered. Our entrees were good but our dessert was not. The dessert was advertised as "molten lava cake with chocolate ganache". There was nothing molten about it - it was actually quite dry for cake. Also they left off the ganache and the scoop of ice cream was just a melted puddle. Service was also extremely slow esp considering there were only 5 other people dining besides us. Def wouldn't go back!"

"Cocktails are delicious, food is great and atmosphere is chilled and unpretentious. The vibe in the lofty space changes into a party vibe later in the night with DJs on the weekends, so if you want peace and quiet go down earlier in the evening."
