Served in a modern and eclectic setting, the Annapolis Smokehouse is putting a new twist on barbecue. We serve all of the traditional favorites like brisket, ribs and pulled pork with all the sides you expect, plus some items you may not expect like lightly smoked crab cakes, pulled pork pierogies and nachos made with fresh, hand cut potato chips and smoked tomato salsa. We feature daily specials that will push the boundaries of barbecue, while maintaining the traditional standard of meat smoked "low and slow". We look forward to seeing you!

"Our 1st visit, interior was beautifully decorated; loved the interesting prints on the walls. Service was impeccable. Food portions were great. Smokehouse mac and cheese was ok. The Armidillo eggs were excellent, the Fried Green Tomatoes were great (even got my husband liking them and he hates fried green tomatoes, and the Shrimp,Corn and Sweet Potato Chowder was surprising to see on the menu, and we're so glad we ordered it. A light soup with so much flavor. The chef came out to greet us and was pleasant and warm. Overall, good food, nice atmosphere, easy to find, great service & prices. We will be back."

"My husband and I came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We had never been before. They seated us right away and our server, Sam, was extremely friendly and helpful. We had the wings naked and they were the best we ever had. We also had the crab dip which was very good. Then for our meal we split the sampler platter which was amazing!! The porter beer was also tasty. We will go back!!"

"As I live less than a mile away I have eaten at the Smokehouse since day 1. At first they had a few things that needed to be worked out but they seem to have come into their own. Very nice staff, atmosphere and the food is great. So glad they opened their doors in my neck of the woods :)"

"A very nice experience....great barbecue and a wide-ranging menu. The food was delicious and the staff was absolutely terrific. One of us had a sampler plate, one had the barbecued shrimp and I had salmon. We talked to the owner who is obviously committed to ensuring this new restaurant in Annapolis is a success. In fact, she was our server so you know the commitment is there--clearly hands-on and it shows. We will definitely be back. Great bbq food, a smiling & happy staff and a fun place, too."

"Nice new spot in Annapolis. Handsome interior although the hardwood floors, hard walls and lots of wood furniture make for a lot of noise. Pulled pork, brisket, smoked chicken all done very well. Will be back."

"Starting off wasn't the best. First they did not have a drink list for the bar. The waitress just said they could make whatever I would like. I don't know about you but I am not a mixologist I just order whatever concoction sounds good on the menu. I ordered a Mojito...BUT... oh they can't make that one because they have no fresh mint. Ok.. so I ordered a lemon drop martini. It was ok. No sugar on the rim though. As for the food, the BBQ was great the whiskey smoked salmon..not so much.
It was not the most memorable place I have every been to but It was decent."

"Food is great- but both times I've been there its VERY loud. Even our waitress saidits tough for people to hear her tell the daily specials over the noise, saying most people thought the soup of the day was ham instead of lamb.
It's also cold so bring a sweater, especially if they seat you right next to the door!

"I recognize that this is a new establishment. Experience will allow improvements. The beef brisket and pulled pork were tasty and tender but 3 of the 4 of us were somewhat disappointed in the potato salad. There was good space between diners but unfortunately the noise level was quite noticeable. Conversation is more difficult than it should be. Noise reduction would make the dining experience more pleasant. The servers were prompt and generally attentive; however their habit of reaching across diners to fill water glasses, deliver items and retrieve dishware was extremely rude. There is plenty of room to serve over the shoulder or work from both ends of most tables. It was a nice touch to have the Pit-Master circulating among the diners."

"As others have noted, the noise level is loud partly because of acoustics and partly because of the vibrant happy hour that lasts until 7-so it takes awhile for that partying sound to wind down. Other than that our food was good (except for the fat in the ribs and brisket). I won't order the ribs again. Maybe they should find out where Adam's orders their ribs!"
