"The cooks apparently did not show up, so the service was glacially slow. Two entrees arrived and then we waited another 20 minutes for others to arrive. The waitress had no idea since she had not checked on us. After lunch, we waited for her to show up so we could pay the bill--we had to go get her. Then she lost our credit card. We found it under our table! In the end, the owner reduced our bill to make up for poor service."

"We took my mother here for Mother's Day. The food was very good. The problem was there were more customers than the kitchen could handle. After we ordered it was about an hour before they even brought us bread (the only reason I marked the service down). If you don't try to go on a holiday, I'd definitely recommend the restaurant."

"I went to Dale Street Bistro for the first time on Mother's Day with a group of 10. I made a reservation so they knew what to expect. At first everything was great: cute old house with character, smiling servers, we were seated upstairs and offered water right away. The problem was that we waited too long for the food to come, the servers would disappear for 20-30 minutes at a time, then the main server dropped off the food and never came back- literally. We had to go ask the front for our check after we were done eating and had sat for 15 minutes. The other table by us (party of 3) had to go ask for their food too. I'm sure they were busy that day- but I've only had service that bad once before at an Applebees! Great food though!"

"Dale Street Bistro was a great find and we loved the ambiance that the classic home turned restaurant provided us. The wait staff was super friendly and made my 7 year old son feel very grown up with the attention they paid him. The musician was awesome...I only wish he played the entire time we were there since a woman sitting at the table next to us did not pause once in complaining about her HOA. Given the small size of the restaurant, it was difficult not to listen to her drone on and on, especially since she chose not to lower her voice once the music ended. The bread was great as was the dinner we ordered and once the musician came back, we could once again enjoy the ambiance!"

"We like the ambience in this smaller neighborhood bistro with guitar on weekends. Their thin crust pizzas are great and most prices good. Only would like to see a little more variety in entree area."
