Vinaigrette - Santa Fe
Vinaigrette is a chic and green Santa Fe bistro that raises the "salad bar" with bold and delicious entrée salads. Featuring innovative flavor combinations and the option to add savory protein accompaniments like diver scallops, lemon-herb chicken or grilled hanger steak, these tantalizingly hearty yet healthy creations allow for guiltless and delicious eating at the same time. Much of the restaurant’s organic produce is grown on owner Erin Wade's 10-acre Nambe farm, Los Portales, harvested within hours of arriving at Vinaigrette's kitchen. When not grown at the farm, the restaurant strives to source local and organic ingredients. As one local publication put it "Eating well never tasted so good."

"We enjoyed dining alfresco with enhanced specialty salads, all of which were beautiful, delicious and surprisingly filling. Our beer came in mason jars. Our waitress was attentive but down to earth subtle and we were there at sunset when the decorative garden lights turned on. Truly a wonderful little spot!"

"Couldn't comment on the food. We had an Open Table reservation and we arrived on time. However, all tables were in use and, even after promises of a table coming up, there was none in sightafter15 minutes. So we went to Il Vicino and had a great meal and great service."

"I've been here a number of times. The food is always good and the beer list is small but they carry good ones. This was the first time our service was this bad. I think our waiter may not have known that our table was his to take care of. We had to constantly grab people as they came by to get things ordered. The waiter in our area didn't do anything for us but bring our bill. I'll definitely be back, I think this was somekind of misunderstanding or miscommunication on the staff's part. Overall, I love this restaurant and enjoy going."

"I have been to Vinaigratte before and had a great lunch. This time - for dinner - I ordered a Caesar Salad and was a bit disappointed - it was overladen with dressing, lettuce a bit limp. Service was superb, staff very friendly.
They could improve their music choice - we were there from 7:00-9:00pm and felt 'accosted' by the music, rather than it complementing the eating experience. Not so intense with food! Thanks."

"The salads are fresh, but are served very, very cold -- apparently they keep them in the refrigerator until ready to serve. The atmosphere is also cold and the restaurant is not terribly comfortable. While they do have some regular tables and chairs, much of the seating is composed of picnic benches (no backs).
This is a popular lunch restaurant and outdoor seating is pleasant in the warmer weather."

"Great food and service in a nice Santa Fe location. One of our favorite restaurants in New Mexico. At first glance one might think the menu is only salads, however, the salads all come with options (e.g. like trout, chicken, or beef) that compliment the salads. The atmosphere is great and the decor is refreshing, open, and artistic."
